Dolphinarium is a must visit when in Batumi city.
Worth the visit.
Amazing 45 minutes watching the dolphins.
These dolphins are very smart and intelligent.
This show is loved by people of all ages.
Reach at least 45 minutes before start of the show since most of the time the show is full.

From the highest point you can park your car it would take you another 30 minutes to walk the rocky road to the Anacopia Fortress that will provide you with lovely views over New Athos. I strongly advise wearing either running or hiking shoes because the road is partially destroyed with sharp rocks. Mind your step all the time. There's a well inside the fortress, don't be afraid to use it, the water is clean and safe to drink.

A settlement in a mountain. Living quarters made in the side of a mountain. Only part is still visible as a big portion was destroyed by earthquakes. Take a good look at acient icons on the monastery, take a walk via narrow corridors to experience it fully. There is a buss to take visitors front parking up , so do not worry. Place not adopted for disabled

The waterfall is at the end of a very very bumpy road, at is normally at the end of the tour, so be ready for a sore bum.
It is impressive and worth making the effort for. It's possible to get a beer for 100RUB and enjoy the view at the end of the day there.

If you've visited first the uphill Jvari Church (see that review of mine), the most striking edifice you see from its view point is this Cathedral. The Svetitskhoveli is the second largest Georgian Church, after the Sameba Holy Trinity in Tbilisi which was built only ten years ago, meaning that Svetitskhoveli was the largest one for 1000 years, as it was built in 11th cent in classic medieval Georgian style.
The Cathedral is built on a site of a 4th cent wooden Church, which remnants are still preserved and visible inside the Cathedral today.
Adding the beauty of its interior is the replica of the Jerusalem's Holy Sepulcher chapel, which was built inside the Cathedral in 15 cent. The Cathedral served in the middle ages as the main Georgian Orthodox one, so many Georgian kings were crowned and buried here.

This visit proved to be laborious and hard-earned. The monastery is located uphill and the walk up there is no mean feat for many people. There is a very handy and affordable bus ride to the monastery but we had it the hard way. There are breathtaking views to behold on the way up as a reward for perseverance and excellent shots can be taken by photo enthusiasts among us.
Upon reaching the monastery, we were utterly overwhelmed by the beauty of the place and it's surroundings. It was originally built in the 4th century and its serenity and quiet beauty just left us speechless. We had a brief exchange with a monk praying in the main church and left humbled by wisdom of this holy man.
A wealth of experience.

It's a bit of a trek from the road, but well worth a look. Inside is beautifully preserved, although not a particularly big place.
We did it as a tour with Kutaisi-Tripstation that also covered Prometheus Caves, Sataplia Caves, Gelati Monastery and Bagrati Cathedral. Definitely value for money and a great experience.

Quite an awesome experience wandering through this site that dates back to the early iron age where archaeologists have discovered evidence of both pagan and Christian architecture and rituals
You need a guide to point out things like the ancient ceiling decorations and to explain the rock formations indicating areas such as the apothecary, jail, bakery and wine pit.
Not for the faint-hearted or unsteady, visiting this site involves climbing quite a few stairs and scrambling over rocks.
A unique experience, certainly worth a visit.
