Vila Germanica is known by its Oktoberfest that happens during 2 weeks of October. I went there once and spent some of the best parties I've been in my life. People are so happy and are dancing and singing in German all the time. Even if you don't have German roots, the fun is guaranteed. One problem? Crowded and lines and more lines to the restrooms.

Desde lejos destacan sus torres u reminescencias góticas. Claro en América es inposible hallar originalidad. Pero de todas maneras se mezclan estilos y aparecen templos como este. Hay que subir mas de 100 escalones para llegar a su base. Alli uno descubre que hay estacionamiento y pudo haber optado por subir en el auto. El interior es rico al ver sus rosetones y vitrales. Bello todo. Los altares en Brasil veo que no son tan cargados como en otros lugares. Mas bien espartanos. Eso no quita belleza. Hermoso lugar de contemplación interior para los fieles.

A Igreja Matriz Imaculado Coração de Maria foi construída num estilo moderno, arredondado e despojado, a partir de 1973. É bem grande e possui uma imagem de mais de cinco metros na parte da frete. A praça onde ela se situa é bem ajardinada e propicia uma vista panorâmica da pequena cidade catarinense.

As any self-respective party venue this place has all the works. Well placed bathrooms, first aid stations, open food court, tables all around for your chill time. It even has a couple of tiny shopping streets in case you forgot that last minute souvenir, it's great. The music is what you would expect, but it growns on you faster than you would expect. DO go in costume if possible, it just add to the whole experience!

The Cathedral is lovely. The overall town is lovely. A small little town situated in Santa Catarina is filled with the German culture. Come October and it is Oktoberfest here.
The town itself consists of old German flavored houses and buildings while the Cathedral is somewhat a modern structure with the statue of Jesus with some doves surrounding Him. Around the Cathedral are all sorts of shopping malls, shops, and there is a river not too far away. If you would enjoy a walk down a quiet street with a Deutsch feeling in Brazil, Blumenau is the place.

A igreja está localizado no centro da cidade, no alto de uma pequena colina e bem de frente para o Rio Itajaí-Açú. Você pode ir de carro, ou subir as dezenas de degraus. Alguns símbolos da maçonaria podem ser encontrados na construção.
É uma bela visita.

A melhor cachaça que já tomei.
Lugar com muita história de família, você pode visitar a pequena fabrica e avistar diversos toneis de carvalho.
Além disso degustar uma pura cachaça e muito leve.
O lugar é simplesmente lindo! Com lagoa de peixes e muito verde

Not so interesting as almost all brazillian museums. Three floors of old stuff like clothes, toys, etc.All thing are not so old, less 200 years.
