Reviewed By mir-slava05The room was clean, tidy in moder but at the same time rustic style. Beds were comfy kids had bunk bed and loved it. Shower good with constant hot water. Location is perfect. Not to close to main busy street with bars and restaurants. Will take around 10 min to walk there. The same as for nine arch Bridge or Ravana flying club, however tuk tuk will help to reach those places. Breakfast was good enough, fresh and tasty. Thank you for pleasant stay.

Reviewed By IzziG4We stayed here for a 3 night stop in Ella and would highly recommend. The hotel rooms were clean, modern and serviced well. Location was fantastic to walk into Ella and also up to Little Adam’s peak. Stand out for us was breakfast - huge portions of authentic Sri Lankan food and fresh eggs served by the wonderful Mano. Mano was super friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. We’ll be back soon!

They helped us find our ways around the trails ( Little Adams peak, Nine arch bridge - both within walking distance) so we didn’t need a guide . The rooms were very Nice, clean, Big and we had a great view from our terrasse. The family was so so Nice and they make a great breakfast. It is within walking distance from the city center with little on the road side.

Reviewed By 672christellerI recently staying at Dhanundi Homestay when I was visiting Ella for a few nights. The family were very helpful, they helped me plan a waterfall trip, organise travel back to the airport, a hike to Ella Rock and the breakfast was really delicious. They even sent me off on the train with a packed breakfast. Lovely family and the brother in law Indika was super helpful too. the room was also really cosy.

Reviewed By RHIx2Just a gem of a B&B just a short walk away from Ella centre. The owner is such a lovely and helpful lady and the place is kept very clean and welcoming! We had a 4 person room as travelling two friends with two daughters. Felt very warm and safe for an all girls group and the owner had lots of friendly advise on what to do and see in Ella. The place really is great value for money and we recommend that you buy the Sri Lanka breakfast and dinner whilst there! As of the political situation of Sri Lanka at the moment, we highly recommend that you ignore this and travel anyway! We travelled around for two weeks mid protests and petrol crisis and our trip was not in any way disrupted nor did we feel unsafe at any point in time. The protests are mainly near government buildings and are visited by families with kids, monks and students alike and does not target tourists who contribute so greatly to the Sri Lankan economy. Now more than ever, the Sri Lankan people needs us to visit so they can recover after the pandemic. Go and enjoy one of the most beautiful islands in the world which has so much to offer in terms of nature, culture, history, religious sites, smiley people and great food!

Reviewed By John19760407Wonderful Place with one of the best view in Ella, Especially the warmth sri Lankan hospitality extended by Sumithra & Manjula is amazing, My family felt not to leave the place after staying for 03 Nights in This Wonderful Place. Both of them are my new bench mark in hospitality as they concern on each and every aspect and went beyond the boundaries to help us, wonderful people, they taught what is hospitality for me although I am in Hospitality industry for last 26 Years. Food is made according to our preference and it is so delicious, Sumithra spoiled us by providing big portions which we couldn't finish always sent with some extra. Will never hesitate to recommend this place to any one who would plan to visit Ella, Luxury is not the materials or infrastructure "It is The Hospitality Extended" We will for sure Visit them even if we pass by Ella for sure, No words to express our gratitude for them. Super !!!
