Reviewed By TLievenPlanned to meet friends at the rooftop bar. The friendly personnel at the hotel reception informed me that the bar was open and for drinks only no booking was needed. Luckily, I made a reconnaissance visit before the evening, only to find out the bar was closed that day. At the downstairs restaurant, I was told its terrace bar was open, free seating, no bookings accepted. When I later arrived with my friends, a few tables were free, but I was informed that they were booked. We were referred to the indoors bar. First, I was told all tables were booked, but when I said I stayed at the hotel and we also wanted to ear dinner later, I could get a table and was told a waiter would come soon. We never saw a waiter at our table. At the bar disk, a busy bartender completely ignored my order in English, although I stood right in front of him, and took orders from many French guests that arrived after me. When I told him that I had waited for a long time and wondered when he would take my order, he referred me in French to a colleague who was busy serving other guests. Frustrated we left the restaurant. Reading previous positive reviews, we were surprised to find this rude behaviour at the Mama Shelter.

Pretty sure all you need is one night but you can stay more. You don’t even have to stay but it’s really nice after the river tour to stumble back to your hotel room. Staff courteous especially Zana (reception), George (breakfast) & Annette (email pre arrival)! We had the Prestige suite which includes a sauna, which we did not use, as well as the back balcony which we had limited use of. Check-in is at 6 PM, sailing at 8 PM, dinner starts at 8:30 PM, and return at 10:30 PM. The upper deck is beautiful and probably would have sufficed in lieu of the balcony but nevertheless a nice touch. The prestige suite also gives you access to the Premier dinner table which faces forward instead of side or in the middle of the dining room. Slight problem was poor air conditioning directly around our table that was much better in the middle of the room. Upon boarding, you will need to ascend stairs so if you have large bags be prepared to carry them up and down yourself. Nice touch would’ve been a ramp from the parking lot up on the upper deck of the boat. Dinner, very tasty with multiple dinner options and sensitivities to your food allergies. You will want to retreat from the dining room up on the deck between courses to see the view better. Dining staff will come up to the upper deck and let you know when the next course is served. Nice touch! Cabins very quiet and comfortable large bed. Of course, since docked all night, no sea sickness issues! Pretty sure we were the only Americans on board which for us is a plus but wanted to let others know. English was not a problem. Definitely recommend!

Reviewed By DFK1972Expect a very small space, where it feels like you’re still on the plane. Its good for sleeping and a quick shower. I would recommend paying a little extra and getting the Family room, which should provide you with more room to stretch, especially if your with someone who wants to do something different than you!

The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Also there is a late night Bakery literally on the same block as this hotel so late night snacking was incredible lol

At first it seems that you are not close to any attraction but then you realize that you are in a very good location that is not far from any attraction. The apartment is very clean, The bed is very comfortable and the apartment has everything you need in order to cook your own meals. The service is very good. There is some noise from the street and the water flow in the shower is not great but in general the apartment was very nice and comfortable.

Reviewed By S1870GXvbI Came to this brand new apparthotel by accident as they were just about to open and finally stayed there 2 nights The very friendly staff took care of the minor glitches one can expect : my appartement had a cosy design and high end equipment. Though so close to busy, the area has a town like atmosphere : an excellent restaurant just 200 m away ; just around the corner are the café-tabac & supermarket both opening super early. The Metro la defense is less than 10 mins away.

Il est situé à 3 minutes du Musée Pompidou, 5 minutes de la Place de la République et 5 minutes du Musée des Arts et Métiers. Il est très proche des nombreux restaurants, bars et surtout très bien desservi en métro avec la station de métro République (5 lignes distinctes). Nous espérons que vous l'apprécierez pour son confort et son emplacement ! L'appartement possède trois éléments vraiment intéressants et sympa : - Tout d'abord il est très bien situé. Il est proche de beaucoup d'endroits touristiques (Place de la République, Musée Pompidou, Quartier du Marais, BHV, Hôtel de Ville...). Par ailleurs il y a beaucoup de bars et de restaurants. - Ensuite il vient d'être refait à neuf décembre 2019) et donc est tout à fait prêt à accueillir ses premiers guests - Nous ne proposons pas de de services spécifiques mais simplement un super logement !

Disgrace of a place! I wouldn't even give it 1 star
Reviewed By GraceNeilltruly awful experience and customer service. we had booked to stay here from Friday to Monday and had rang to say we would be arriving after 11pm (after check in) so they gave us a number to ring to give us our keys. When we landed the hotel was closed and nobody would answer our phone calls, they kept hanging up on us. We kept trying to ring the emergency contact they had on the door of the reception as well and that wouldn't answer either. So god forbid there actually was a real emergency!! A guest upstairs let us in and the place was absolutely filthy. Anyway, since we had no key to our room, we had to find another place to stay at 3am (walking around Paris with suitcases) and rang them the next day. They said they had no record of our reservation! So we had to scramble and find another place to stay for the weekend, costing us a fortune. When we contacted booking.com to get a refund, they said that the hotel said WE cancelled it ourselves so the hotel wouldn't refund us. We still haven't received any refund after 3 months. It completely ruined our holiday to Paris over this stress and worry. Disgrace of a place.

Reviewed By Ariane PCompramos pelo Booking como Elysse Haussmann,mas quando chegamos descobrimos que se chama Phileas Hotel e por sinal é um 4 estrelas.O hotel é moderno,limpo,possui elevador,o quarto é bom,o chuveiro era ótimo com cromoterapia.As amenidades de banho eram ótimas,forneceram sabonete,gel de banho,creme hidratante para pele,agulha e linhas,não faltou nada.É muito prãtico ir para o aeroporto do hotel,tem ônibus que leva direto,é prático,além de estar próximo do metro e poder se locomover com facilidade.O atendente fala inglês e francês,muito simpãtico.

Small but perfectly formed
Reviewed By scott fStayed for a long weekend, the first week of December, we got the blue room at the back, it was immaculately clean! But as I said in my title small but has everything you need. I requested some flowers and a bottle of champagne for our arrival as it was my husbands birthday, the staff did not disappoint, a beautiful bunch of red roses and a bottle of verve was waiting for us, Great location, 10 minutes walk to the Seine and Notre dame. Beautiful patisserie a couple of doors down for breakfast. And with easy reach of metro lines. If I had to suggest an improvement I would say that the pillows were a bit crap. But all in all perfect for a long weekend in Paris, we will rebook on our return. Xxx
