Perfect!

Fantastic place for our family holiday! The hotel was very clean in all areas. Rooms basic but absolutely fine as a base, lovely bathroom, spacious shower was a bonus. Pool area good, & plenty of sun beds. Nice pool bar/outdoor seating for lunch/drinks. The key to this stay was the staff they where/are truly outstanding!!! I can not fault a thing. Maria was amazing with her warmth & service as nothing was too much trouble! As was the rest of the bar/waiting staff fantastic. The childrens entertainer Martin ….. absolutely superb & my son of 8 still can’t stop talking about him & the fun all the children had. Beach only a few minutes walk away & it’s stunning! We think we found a gem here after speaking to a lot of other British holiday makers staying in larger hotels found a poor experience. We consider ourselves lucky to had the experience we did as that was all down to a fabulous team spirit! Thankyou!! The peacock family

Stunning

We have just returned from this stunning hotel for just 3nights and did not want to leave. The conversion of this monastery is exceptional and the thought and detail gone into the rooms and the decor around the hotel is just beautiful. We stayed in one of the Royal Suites and it was stunning, the view the huge bed and the little details including the hot tub and Balinese day bed on the balcony with it’s views to the town and the castle….simply beautiful. The pool area is stunning with the lavender, bird noise, views, fridge and drink/food service The food is very special too and the detail with the beautiful crockery, glassware etc adds a little more…. Toni the general manager greeted us and told us a little of the history which was a really lovely touch. Hannah on reception is a complete gem always happy to help and the biggest smile. The big genuine smiles are on the faces of all of Toni’s team and you can tell they love their jobs and it shows. The biggest smile of all is the lovely Mexican lady (sorry I forget your name) who practically sings when she speaks and you cannot help smile right back. Stunning accommodation, excellent staff and just a very special hotel which we will definitely be making a return visit. Thank you to Toni and his excellent team for making our mini break so special.

Pro & cons after 6 nights staying at this hotel: - the hotel has a great view, but quite tricky to reach - it's very clean but very noisy due to the big corridors that enhance the noise...a lot - staff is very friendly, expect for a chef, she has been VERY rude! - food is way below the average.. Suggested for a night, max two

If you are considering booking this boutique hotel in Artá you cannot be disappointed!! It is absolutely stunning and a complete credit to René and his wife for the passion in creating and running such an outstanding heaven of a hotel. Simple and exquisite interiors and gorgeous gardens too although weather was awful this week so missed out on sitting in the grounds. Breakfast is amazing with different smoothies every morning. My new absolute favourite boutique hotel. Fabulous

Just for teenagers

Reviewed By alevse

The area of the hotel is really bad. Although it is close to the beach, at night prostitues are standing near the hotel. Most of the people staying in the hotel are German teenagers. They are shouting, disturbing people all night. Every night of my stay, i woke up at least three times because of the noise. They hit the doors and don’t care that other people need their space as well. The hotel management doesn’t do anything about it. Good things are, the beach is close and beautiful. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is good.

Enjoyable but not Exceptional

Great location for our visit. A slight unpleasant smell to the room, we asked to change but they cleaned and for a while the smell improved but it returned so a visit to a local supermarket to purchase an air freshener helped. Bedding is definitely for German Clients and not U.K. which wasn’t ideal for us. Breakfast was good with a wide selection and gluten free options were available when asked. It’s a clean and modern looking hotel, the roof top looked amazing but we didn’t use as the weather wasn’t that warm, but I guess in the summer could become crowded.

Fantastic‘retreat’ like holiday

What an awesome place!! From the accommodation, to the hosts and staff working there, to the fantastic food and the resort itself. I won’t call it a hotel as it feels much more like a retreat, so peaceful along with beautiful scenery. We were looked after from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Cannot wait to come back. Thoroughly, highly recommend a stay here.
