Cleanliness is abysmal
Reviewed By Ra3allenThe staff have been lovely to deal with, however the level of cleanliness in our room is absolutely atrocious. I wish we could change hotels. Definitely will never book here. Our room had very obviously used towels when we checked in. They had a face imprints and makeup on them. We also didn’t have any hand soap. I requested some and was told that they didn’t have any left and instead gave me body wash…. The hand sanitising machines downstairs are also empty. My bathroom smells strongly of urine. I explained this to the hotel staff, who promptly sent someone to clean my room- which I appreciate. Though I question whether this room has ever been properly cleaned. The walls are filthy, the floor is filth, the appliances are filthy. I’d rather die than use this shower. The kitchen is filthy. They should have just upgraded me to a newer- cleaner room as soon as I told them about the used towels- and showed them proof, though I wasn’t offered.

Reviewed By hairbear211273Early 2021 I booked hotel for August via Booking.com - it was booked as 'pay on arrival', however the hotel charged entire booking immediately. I contacted the hotel immediately and first was told it was not their fault booking.com had them listed as pay on arrival and I had to contact them. So I did, as was advised that this was how the hotel had listed themselves and to contact hotel. I rang hotel back and after much negotiation and attempts at placing blame on booking.com, hotel agreed to change booking direct and refund my money. Booking.com reservation was then cancelled (have proof on booking.com account) Fast forward to July and I needed to change dates from August to November... I called hotel direct (and have call log on phone to prove it) and they had no trouble changing, never mentioned booking.com. Thanks to covid my trip was cancelled in mid August and so I again contacted hotel direct, and was told no problem they would cancel... again no mention of booking.com. This weekend was when I was supposed to be staying and suddenly yesterday I was charged full booking amount on credit card. Phoned hotel 6 times - no answer, no answering machine, just phone pick up and hang up. This morning someone from hotel rang from their personal phone, when I explained problem I was told it was booking.com reservation and had never been cancelled so not their problem. I explained the entire history of booking which staff member states she remembers changing, etc. but states 'no one would ever change or cancel because that was illegal'. I again explained that I had in fact spoken with hotel direct to change dates and then again to cancel and booking.com was never mentioned and I was told no problem. Was told it wasn't their problem, so I advised I would contact booking.com. I then got text message again saying not hotel problem, but if I contacted booking.com it was outside the 'allowed' cancellation period. I've again contacted booking.com and as far as they knew booking was for August and it was cancelled in July by hotel. Now I'm left with hotel charge to credit card - which I will be disputing with AMEX, for a hotel I cancelled, and to top it all off, even if my event had gone forward I couldn't travel as my town has been in covid lockdown for past few weeks. CRAPPY CUSTOMER SERVICE - SINGULARLY UNHELPFUL AND ALL ABOUT SHIFTING BLAME WHILE KEEPING MY MONEY THAT SHOULD NEVER HAD BEEN CHARGED.

Reviewed By C1790HMhayleygMy friends and I used the ferry to get to and from Couran Cove, we were stuck in traffic and were possibly going to be late, as courtesy I left messages on the number provided but no one returned my call. I used the emails provided to please let the ferry operator know we maybe late yet still no response. Luckily we did arrive just in time but again, there was no direct phone number for this issue when I asked. The ferry needs new seat covers as they all cracked and frayed. The bar staff need training as they didn't know how to make cocktails that are on their cocktail menu, we had them remade after giving the young girl the recipe. On a positive note, the room we had was lovely, clean and spacious with a breath taking views of the Marina. The food was absolutely tasty and well priced. Sunset Bar is definitely the spot to be in the afternoon.

Reviewed By sheernaResort is in a great location close to tram, casino, restaurants and shops . So easy to park and walk. The staff were amazing so helpful and friendly. We also had a lovely time in the day spa, you can access it from inside the resort. Will definitely be back.

Regular Guest in a great location
Reviewed By ETST2020The Chevron is located in a fantastic location being central to everything and within walking distance to great shops and restaurants. Great for couples and families. the only downside (if any) is that the front desk hours should be staffed longer than standard business hours. It would be reassuring to know there is someone there to speak to if needed, particularly for those not familiar with the area.

Yes it’s not the most modern on the coast but it’s got everything you want, location is prefect and was spotless. Every room has a magnificent view, would suggest try to get level 5 or above. The staff are fantastic, we had to postpone our original dates as my wife fractured her foot. This wasn’t an issue at all, they were all so lovely. Spend $5 if your a senior and become a member at the surf club, it’s a great spot. We have already booked again for next March. Well done Voyager Resort.
