Having survived the Mongol Empire, WWII, Chernobyl, and Soviet rule, Kiev is the proud capital of the Ukraine. Filled with theaters, museums, religious sites, modern buildings and ancient ruins, the city of Kiev is the center of Ukrainian culture. The Monastery of the Caves, founded in 1015, and Saint Sophia Cathedral, founded in 1037, are both World Heritage Sites. The Museum of the Great Patriotic War, topped by the massive Motherland Statue, provides gorgeous views of the city below.

We offer the best itinerary on foot, by car or van to cover the main attractions of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. This tour is well suited for those who are for the first time in Kiev. The Tour could be conducted by Car or Van depends on amount of people, but in a good weather we recommend to order a Walking Tour because all attractions are pretty close to each other in Kiev. The tour by car or van includes a visit to the Statue of the Motherland.

This is a gorgeous place, especially now, in the spring. The nature is wonderful, the territory of the park is very well-groomed. After the president's escape, people stayed here to look after and take care of the place. The house inside is completely different, made with bad taste, in the royal style. Seems like the person had problems with his ego. The tour is good, the guide is very knowledgeable about the current situation in Ukraine. So come here in good weather and enjoy your walk! P.S. to get inside the retro car museum you need to take a golf cart, it’s extra experiences.

While visiting Ukraine, I was recommended Svet and his tour by my hotel. I was looking for a tour on that particular day, and he made it happened. He was very flexible, friendly, energetic, knowledgeable and overall, I had a great time with him. I booked him on two different occasions and he was able to take me to all the various sites that I wanted to see, and others that he recommended. I found that his prices were very fair, especially for the private tours, that I got. If you want to see clubs, museums, historical sites, or anything else, just let him know, and he will make it happen! I defiantly, plan on using his services again, the next time, that I visit Ukraine! Thank for the great time, Svet! Artem

You will also learn what miraculous events happened here throughout centuries. In addition, we will visit 3 churches - ASSUMPTION CATHEDRAL, GATE CHURCH OF THE TRINITY & REFECTORY CHURCH and learn how to decipher the symbolism of their wall images.I will teach you how to read Ukrainian Orthodox architecture and to interpret it through the prism of color science. We will stand on LAVRA'S BEST OBSERVATION DECK, which offers a mind-boggling view of the Monastery architectural ensemble. What an excellent tour and location. Ivan (My guide) was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate about the topic and personable. It was the perfect balance of history, experience and emotion to make a very memorable adventure. Safety was also never a concern of mine. Ivan made sure to keep the journey interactive while also ensuring we never ventured anywhere that might expose us, or to areas that are no longer structurally sound.
