Probably the best place in the region
Reviewed By ehssoadThe most well run B&B we have been to. Diana, the owner helped us tremendously. We lost our car keys on a bicycling trip?! She took her car and we went searching. And wow!!!! The keys were found two kilometers from the B&B. Thanks a million, Diana, for your help. And yes, the place is as good as everybody else says.

The Mill Pensionat B&B and restaurant. In the open coustal landscape at the Swedish westcoast in Halland. Double room in bungalows 1350.-Smaller budget double room 950- Double room in the windmill 2300.- All rooms with private shower and wc. Breakfast included. Restaurant, bar, 650 m to the beach of Olofsbo havsbad. Falkenberg 6 km. Fishing village Glommen 3 km. Restaurant open daily from Midsummers day.

Reviewed By Matte AI had the opportunity to stay one (1) night in the windmill. I was stationed in Gothenburg and needed a one night stay but due to a concert there were no rooms to be built in Gothenburg. Had a meeting in Falkenberg the following day and realized I could go there. Wonderful rural setting, very nice and helpful staff. Must be fantastic in the summer. Quiet, nice, relaxed. If I would like to take myself away to write a book, for example, I would choose this. And you also have your own private sauna...

Welcoming guest house and youth hostel in the centre of Fjallbacka. Within walking distance(200meters) of the harbour, shops cafes and restaurants. Large kitchen for selfcatering. Furnished garden. Free WiFi. 5 Meters from the bus stop. Car parking.

Reviewed By FrancyfreGiven the fact that Sweden is generally extremely expensive (at least for Southern Europeans), Fjallbacka is no exception. However, this is a good place to stay if you want to save a little money. Last May we paid half price with respect to Store Hotellet Bryggan, fair enough since this is a sort of hostel with private rooms. No breakfast is offered but there's a kitchen (i think they have coffee for a few crowns). We personally went to Store Hotellet and paid 12 euros for an amazing breakfast. This is a good solution if you don't wanna pay the full price of a hotel but need to have breakfast somewhere. Indeed, if you happen to be in Fjallbacka during the week (except summertime) most places are closed down (including cafes), expect the restaurant on the pier.

Welcome to a peaceful and beautiful accommodation by the sea. The Boardinghouse Strandhagen is located on the shore of the sea between Kalmar and Öland. The beautiful and peaceful surroundings, oak and hazel forest with lovely walking paths provide space for relaxation and presence in the present. Grandma´s Boardinghouse Strandhagen is located on Öland, 25 km north of the Öland bridge. We offer a tranquil setting, private beach, free Wi-Fi, free parking and lounge with TV. Some of our rooms have a stunning view overlooking the Sea. Grandmas Boardinghouse Strandhagen is 15 km from Solliden and the Borgholm Castle. The World Heritage Stora Alvaret is only 20 km away.
Expensive but lovely
Reviewed By 651kristofferlVery nice location. Quaint. Hotel is simple, so is breakfast and service. But what more do you need? Price is too high though. Place is benefiting from surroundings, not by the effort from the hotel. We tried the bistro nereby as well. A disappointment I’m afraid. Some food way too spicy, some too salty, some too little seasoned. The final finish was not there. We will continue to come to the hotel but would keep it at one night rather than several and maybe bring food.

Reviewed By joefaulWe arrived at the Branno Vardshus at 1:40, twenty minutes prior to check in, and they would not check us in, even though check out was at 11. Us, and two or three other groups, had to sit and wait to get checked in. Right at 2, they slowly started checking people in. After we got checked in, they did not explain where our room was so we had to wait for other people to get checked in. What a pain. After this experience though, the property was very clean and our room was comfortable. The location is relatively close to everything. After check out, we asked about storing bags and they said that we could in their public restaurant. Was not a fan of this, but that was okay.

Reviewed By susannev620Allt var uttänkt till minsta detalj för barnfamiljer, skydd på lådor, dörrgavel, säkerhetsgrindar etc. Även om om mina barn inte behöver detta mera så var det så fint att se hur familjen som driver stället verkligen bryr sig och gör det där lilla extra. Super bra studsmatta med gunga och lekhus på gården. Poolen i växthuset är idealiskt och barnvänlig. En oas för familjer, man gå in i en annan värld och kan verkligen slappna av!

Reviewed By Aero3926Breakfast served at exactly the promised time, so no worries about schedule. Each room has a private toilet, but the toilet is not in the room. Shared shower. Stairs to the bedrooms are a little steep. So, despite how pleased we were, you should not stay if stairs are a problem.
