Reviewed By Andreas BThis motel is located outside Helsingborg in calm and peaceful surroundings. The rooms are nice and clean and the price is about right. The motel had its heyday some time ago, and could need a little modernization. But overall it is good value.

Great value for money
Reviewed By kekkerWe, 2 adults and 2 kids (6 & 12), stayed for a night, on our way from Oslo to Gothenburg and Liseberg. The room is rather small, with one comfortable bed for two adults, and a sofa bed for the kids. Nothing fancy, but all what we need for a quick night stop. We did not test the dinner at the restaurant or burger joint, but had some snack at the convenience store,and we got what we expected. Håby doesn't have much to offer, other than this, but me and the kids did have a walk around the area and into the woods,so it's possible to do a walk in the areas. The breakfast is nothing fancy, but a small wariety of bread, Knekkebrød, vegetables, cheese, spreads, eggs, meatballs, sausages, eggs milk, juice, yoghurt, coffee and some pastries. We payed aprox 900 SEK, for the room, breakfast and parking, which is nothing less than a bargin! So if you just need a short night's stay, along the highway, and nothing fancy, this is a great place to stay. The noise from the highway, might6be bothersome, we had one of the rooms closest to the highway, but it quieted down a bit in the evening, so I didn't bother.

Holiday cottages somewhat overpriced
Reviewed By jmbagerStayed for one night. The hotel consists of a number of individual huts, intended for holidaymakers. The huts are fitted with a kitchenette. Based on the somewhat simple and worn interior and furniture, I would say that the hotel is overpriced. However, this is the only available hotel in town! I arrived late and did not try the restaurant, however, the breakfast buffet had all you could wish for in a nice setting.

Spacious family room, nice breakfast, easy parking

One improvement would be to provide a bar fridge in the rooms. The guy at reception / restaurant looks like darts player Michael van Gerwen. We arrived at 12pm where we had to wait about 90 minutes for our room. Positives: spacious rooms, free parking, complimentary buffet breakfast at the restaurant under the rooms was good, although there were a few flies around, lots of shops within walking distance - Ikea has hot dogs and ice creams for SEK5 (A$0.80), we also used the car charging station at Ikea to charge our hybrid car for free.

Reviewed By JCom_OsloWe had room 103, in the main building, facing away from the motorway. The room was quiet, big, clean and looked newly refurbished. Good beds, two chairs and two small tables. Unfortunately no heating in the bathroom. The corridor also looked newly refurbished with newly painted walls and a new wall to wall carpet. Fantastic breakfast. Good parking space. We gladly come back here again.

Reviewed By MirjaanvTrevligt, rent och väldigt bra frukost. Otroligt bra sängar. Trevlig personal. Men, minus för tunga dörrar och lyhört. När killarna som körde tunga stora lastbilar skulle iväg tidigt på morgonen till sina jobb så väcktes hela korridor pga hög ljudnivå. En kille gick fram och tillbaka i korridoren och pratade högt i telefonen. Personalen borde ge lite bättre info vad som gäller.

Super family rooms. Nice, clean and almost brand new.
Reviewed By Roger DWe stayed in an family room, and have 3 children. We were positively surprised at the standard of this place. And the children loved it. It also came as a plus for the kids with a candy store and a Burger King nearby. We will definately use this place again, and have now the Rasta chain at our favourite list.

Reviewed By Cecilia NMarc Enderborg från Gula Hönan tolkade havet på sitt sätt denna afton och lät oss (20-tal) gäster njuta med smaker som ”tog oss jorden runt”. Modernt, fantasirikt och gott. Skaldjur, grönsaker och champagne kan ju aldrig bli fel och serverade i denna unika miljö / vinkällare blir det bara ändå bättre. En oförglömlig matupplevelse.

Reviewed By 585bjarkeHavde 4 overnatninger fra den 24. til 28. august 2014, 1624 dkr med morgenmad. Kan anbefale dette sted til lystfiskere, og til dem der er på gennmrejse. Et klassisk Motel, som ses på amerikanske film. Drivin Værelserne pæne og rene, ikke noget at prale af, gode senge. Køkken og spiserum, havde selv mad med, som vi kunne tilberede i køkkenet og spise o opholdsrum. Køleskab, skabsfryser, elkomfur med ovn, mikroovn og kaffemaskine Kaffebønner til fri afbenyttelse Morgenmaden, ikke noget stort, men rigeligt og friskt, varm brød. Diverse Youghurt med gemyse, juice, kaffe Forskellige pølser, 3 slags ost, marmelade. Dejligt. Værtsparet og en datter og søn, sørgede for den perfekte service. Nogle fik meget tidlig morgenmad, andre fik sen aftensmad, efter kl 21. Serveret med et smil af den søde datter. Stor ros til familien. Og så lige frokostret, til 80 skr. desværre ligger stedet langt ude på landet, så strøgtur er udelukket.
