I was in Napule number of times. For italian food and especially Pizza and Parmigiana di Melanzane it is one of the best places to go. I was there both times for lunch and it was enjoyable. Service is rather fast, food is excellent and you can always find a place.

Yes, Spotykach really be proud! With such care together under one cover the most famous culinary hits of the Soviet era have not for everyone. Called in for late lunch/early dinner on first night in Kiev. Extensive menu, many with pictures. Blend of traditional Ukrainian food and others with a modern twist. Well presented and served. Not quite as quirky as the guidebooks make out, but it looks/feels as though it has had a recent make-over.... Well worth a gisit

Gorchitsa Cafe was recommended highly to me by three friends, 2 Ukrainians and the other an Englishman who has travelled the world.
Gorchitsa Cafe exceeded my expectations 10 fold.
The Service was excellent with the maitre'd personally showing us to our quiet spot at a corner table near the window. The waitress was attentive to our every need and was always there when expected.
I chose the Veal with risotto and Morels in a light cream sauce. The veal was delicious and very tender, and supported by the ensemble, rather than overwhelmed. My date chose the Salmon and loved every bite.
Wine suggestions were compliments to the meal. I had expected a Merlot or a Cabernet with my veal, however our waitress suggested a Nero d"Avolo and it was the right choice. The chardonnay selected for my date's salmon was delicate and at the same time impressive.
I would definitely return to the Gorchitsa Cafe and commend the owner, Joel Frantz, on the excellent evening that we had.
Our reservation was for 6:30, and although we arrived late,6:50, they were able to accomodate us. Had it been later, we might not have fared so well, as the restaurant continued to fill up with customers as the evening progressed.

This very pleasant restaurant is located just around the corner from the Olimpiiska metro station. It features a wide variety of wonderful vegetarian and vegan salads and entree. I prefer the upstairs Seating in what feels like a library. It is extremely comfortable and the food well worth the visit.

Average is exactly the word which exactly describe this restaurant food and service. Based on restaurant name you expect the wide variety of local fish but offered 'cosmopolitan" salmon. We planned our visit here at first. But we just walked threw Tarasa Shevchenka Boulevard and just saw the name.
Welcoming, nicely and simply decorated restaurant. Georgian cuisine is so tasty. Service is more than great and friendly. Ajdaruli Khachapuri is amazing, we tried it at few more places and here is the best without doubt. Location is more than good - near to the Universytet metro station and less than 10 min. walking from Khreshchatyk.
Try georgian rakia/vodka which we had for start.

Very original (or just not known enough) Georgian restaurant - delicious cuisine with good and tasty dishes: delicious rolls of eggplants stuffed with nuts, chachapouri - a bread with egg and cheese, much better eats and sounds -, and delicious grilled chicken. A nice choice of wine, including many from Georgia, to make a very ethnic and interesting meal.

This bar is a first "soldier" in Ukraine who established and brought "speak easy" culture in Kiev. Tiny bar with repeated guests, classy cocktails, well groomed staff, smell of good alcohol in the airI've tried Penicilin cocktail based on Tequila, the result was a bit other taste of ginger but in general 4 points out of 5. My friends enjoyed their drinks as well. We will be back ☝️

Musafir is a traditional Crimean Tatar kitchen place in down town Kiev. We serve Crimean Tatar soups, traditional meat pastry - chebureki and jantik, steam dumplings - manti and hanuma; meat pies - burma and kobete; grilled menu - shashliki, lula, steaks. We also serve a lot of green tea, and traditional Turkish coffee prepared on hot sand. The design is simple, slightly eastern, the service is great (we hope and we work very hard to make sure). The place is not pretentious, we have free wifi, and pretty democratic prices.

Reasonable prices, nice service, delicious tatar food, actually there are some Uzbek dishes too. The place totally deserves a visit.
