Reviewed By Jessicalee61107We went to Fallingwater and stayed here because it was close by and our kids love animals. Very friendly staff. Clean and well kept. Very well decorated to keep with the rustic animal theme. Very cool that you have the living treasures zoo right in the backyard and get 50% off tickets there. We couldn’t believe how affordable the hotel was for the quality and experience you get. My whole family had an amazing time and we would highly recommend. The animal park was also very well kept with spacious exhibits for the animals and they all seemed really happy to be fed all day long by the guests.

Reviewed By toniy459I booked on line 2 months ahead. They charge your first night then. I have stayed here in the past mutiple times. I arrived at 1:30am and they charged me for the remainder of the 3 nights, and THEN tell me they cant rent to me , Im on the do not rent too!! They would not tell me why, and to talk to the manager in the morning. YET the night desk clerk was on the phone with the acting manager!! HE never got on the phone with mem NOR offered any solution NOR as to WHY he would not rent to me. This was a national event that I hosted, and we told people from ALL OVER to STAY at this hotel!! This hotel has become a hell hole with partying on the weekends, people smoking in the rooms, even though there are no noise signs posted after 11pm. One of the more local people in our group called the mananger and it turns out a worker left the hotel PISSED ( quit) and said all these people had 5 dogs and didnt claim them!! I have never broght more then 3, clained them all AND paid the extra fee for them. I tried calling the MAIN CORPRUTE office, they are as big of a joke as the local manager!! They are of NO HELP!! Oh and you get your refund in 5-7 days!! Others in our group , they charged thier card, they wanted to use a different one whene they arrived and they already charged the other and it caused them to pay over draft fees. If your looking for a party , drug den, smoking pot , you name it.... heres your place !!

They would not honor my AARP discount and being on a fixed income I had budgeted so much money Shame on you Holiday Inn We were not told this on booking. And we had to pay to park - no option added to bill

Best Red Roof Propery in a long time
Reviewed By DaysofThundr46I have had some pretty dreadful Red Roof stays lately, so this was the last chance for me and this brand. Check in was fantastic. Nicely renovated lobby and friendly front desk person. They took over 2 buildings, but are only using 1. The other is sitting there unused, mostly looks to be storage. The property was a former Days Inn. The room was VERY nicely renovated! Seemed very new, fresh and clean. The front desk person even called my room to be sure everything was good. Nice sized TV (I did not use), WiFi worked well overall, plenty of working outlets. Tub was slightly high up, had hot water and decent pressure. Work desk/chair was comfy. The bed was very "economy" feeling, pillows were decent. The property is very close to plenty of food and shopping. Traffic in the area can be pretty brutal. Highway noise didn't bother me at all. I had requested a late checkout (12p) and set my alarm for 11am, and somehow, slept right through it. Happened to wake up at 12pm and immediately called the front desk apologizing. I ended up getting ready and checked out at 12:30pm. The girl at the front desk (purple glasses) was very pleasant and understanding, no hassle. This properly is VERY well run and has customer service every hotel should have. I will be staying here anytime I am back in the area for the races.

Good staff.. NO hot water
Reviewed By dartootThe front desk was very efficient and friendly. Motel is not in the best neighborhood. Wouldn't feel safe outside after dark, Motel itself seems secure. Room was very clean. Needed to ask for a shower curtain? It was brought up and my husband put it on..no big deal it just snapped over shower rod. Biggest complaint is that there wasn't any hot water either in the evening or the morning. I called the front desk in the evening and was told that the water heater is iffy, may heat up later? Lukewarm showers in the evening and also in the morning. We didn't check out early as we were hoping to have hot water for a morning shower. No such luck. This is something that was a known problem and management or the owner just doesn't care. Too many other places to stay that have hot water and only cost a bit more.

It has recently been given new life by the new owners, who are friendly and -- even more important -- have made a clean, cheap place to stay. Rooms are spotless, and have TV, microwave, and a mini fridge. What more to ask for?

The room was extra large and renovated, I expect the lobby will be soon as well; very clean; plenty parking space; couple of restaurants nearby; wallmart at 5 minutes driving; staff extra kind/accommodating and helpful. Weekends are VERY busy with wedding parties, so early booking is recommended. Only suggestion: add a laundry room for guests and improve breakfast.
