Reviewed By Janedoe56424678No free breakfast, just a granola bar. Ants all over our room and some mysterious bugs we couldn’t identify. Mold in bathroom shower. Door to bathroom didn’t close. Staff not in lobby to assist with things. Key card only works for one day. No cleaning during your stay. They only clean when you check out. Shady people in parking lot. Creepy men in the pool. Wi-Fi was good. Location is good. We slept with the lights on. Walls paper thin.

Other than that this hotel is a hidden gem within wildwood and would love to stay again either this summer and the coming summers!

Reviewed By hoffyrnI was pleasantly surprised to see how modern the rooms were in this hotel. We stayed in the building that is not attached to office. It was very clean. I would def. Stay here again. It's also very close to the beach so you can just walk over. We came off season but I can only imagine how fun this town is in the summer.

They went above and beyond to make sure everything was right for me and my son. They were/are very accommodating. I had zero issues while staying here. My room was sanitized and very clean the both times I stayed there. In fact everything was super clean I stayed here twice in two weeks. The weekend of memorial weekend 27th-30th and the weekend prior, 20th-22nd, I had my 6 yr old son with me, because he loves the swimming and the beach and the boardwalk. He loved it so much he asked if we could come back again. Lol. He asked if I could move there lol. (Kids) they think parents are millionaires lol. Anyway, I can’t say enough about my stay here. And I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. They take great pride in their place and take great care of their guest. I will surely be back visiting in the future. And it’s literally right next to boardwalk. Can’t beat this place. And it’s a great lil restaurant/diner right next door to them with some great food. So next time you are looking for a reasonable priced place near the boardwalk that’s clean and A1 service. Look this place up. You won’t regret it. Thanks again mike & Michelle Chris Berry

Sleeping in the King size bed was like being in Heaven, as I have said in the past location, location close to everything. Can't wait We will be back again in August.

The sheets were clean, the beds were comfy, and there was a small kitchenette with a stove, fridge, and microwave. Great price for what is provided

This year we wanted to stay some place different than where we've stayed before but directly on the beach. We randomly chose Driftwood Motel, and we're soooo glad we found this Jersey Shore gem! We stayed in room 133, poolside. Opening the door and walking into a newly renovated, CLEAN room solidified that we had made a great choice. The outdoor pool is large, refreshing, and very well maintained. There's even a sandy beach area right by the pool with plenty of lounge seating to relax, enjoy a drink, and get your tan on. The snack shack on the property adds a great accommodation for quick bites to eat and a hot cup of coffee in the morning! The location cannot be beat! If you are looking to be steps away from basically a private beach, then this is the place for you! Also, you're only about a 10 minute walk away from the Boardwalk, another bonus! Betty Ann and the owner of Driftwood we're also wonderful. My aunt and I both enjoyed talking with Betty Ann, she's so sweet and welcoming...making you feel like you're an old friend. Reviewed By kbeck21Beware! Please be alert and careful when staying here. There is no security, no protection and no management or staff on the property at night time. We had an incredibly scary encounter with a man- who we later found out was not a guest at the hotel. The hotel is well lit, however, don’t let that fool you. The man came out of no where and was playing some kind of music- he approached me after getting ice- and nearly followed me into my room. Luckily I was able to quickly get in the door and lock it. I looked outside to see if he was gone and he continued to pace up and down the driveway- each time coming within feet to my door- for almost 3 hours. It was pretty terrifying. So please be aware of your surroundings! I couldn’t leave my room. There was no one to call on-site. And I was afraid to call the police because of what could happen if they left and didn’t do anything. I reported this to the office the next day. They confirmed no one by that description was staying there. I asked about the security camera. And was told they don’t work. We left and we will not be returning. Please be careful!

There is a liquor store and restaurants 1/2 Block away. The pool is open 10 to 9 everyday. Free coffee in lobby . At night it got cool and there was a nice fire pit going. I would definitely stay here again. It was my second visit and it was a great time ! Highly recommend!
