Better off in a tent or your car
Reviewed By MNTravelers4Daughter and I stayed here during a severe cold snap in February. There were people selling puppies out of the lobby. Cockroaches all over, better if you keep the drain plug in place. There was not any quiet time, parties going with bass pumping through paper thin walls until 4 am. Nobody slept in this hotel, the same people hanging out in the lobby at 7 pm and 3 am and 7 am. We did not risk taking our clothes off and getting under sheets, slept in our jackets. Never seen a worse hotel and have traveled around the world and stayed in budget friendly places throughout my life.

Horrible! Extremely cold No heat! and unsafe!
Reviewed By aaW6807XVLocation was awful and not safe! there were patrol of police cars blocking the hotel entrance and all around the main street next to the hotel, which indicates a big crime incident either in the hotel or nearby surroundings I had the worst stay in my entire life at this place!! Me and my friend went there on 10/14 and the weather was cold, they had NO HEAT on! We arrived passed 12:00, when we called they said there's no heat thermostat and by law they are required to turn on only if the temperature is 35 or less!! Then we asked for a solution and they said to walk outside after midnight and reach out to the secured office to grab a blanket, and guess what? they only had ONE BLANKET FOR MY FRIEND! I had to sit in my bed in COLD for 3 hours when I called back and another front desk person got me a blanket! thy offered a broken small electrical heater and told us to leave it on while sleeping!! A nightmare! we left early morning to find another hotel and we found this motel entrance blocked by a police car and many police cars all around the motel! pls pls stay away!

Unsafe hotel
Reviewed By abakker2022Bottom floor rooms have windows that open all the way and don’t lock. Hallway smelled like cat pee. Half the light bulbs in the room weren’t working. Shower head was hanging. You could look up in the bathroom into your ceiling and see the electrical wires. I didn’t even stay I walked out after looking at the room and went else where.

Reviewed By petransllcThis location turned out to be "Privately Owned". Upon check-in we could barely understand the staff. Our room was 60 degrees. There was a false eyelash set on the floor, a water bottle cap between the nightstand & the bed, there was NO desk chair & it had an unidentifiable stain on the desk & ceiling. The remote didn't work until my husband fixed it. One of the bed sheets had something crusty on it, when I requested a new one the desk staff guy tried explaining it away as laundry soap (NOT...it was more like a crusty booger!) The room needs to be updated. No continental breakfast or pool.

No Coffee , No Breakfast , nothing. Mattresses were lumpy and worn out . It was a cold night. Heater didn't work properly. 2 Porn Channels on TV playing Porn 24 Hours .girls were not even sexy. Go down the road to Baymont. If you Book online it was only 3 Bucks more and they have a pool and a Good Breakfast. Coffee Makersin the room . Go there

Reviewed By Mary MFrom the time I walked into the building, the flooring, walls, etc. looked like it had not been kept up for years. There was a musty smell then the worse was getting my room. There were scraps of paper on the floor, no towels and wash cloths, bathtub drain clogged with toilet paper and hair. My reservation was for a week, but I checked out the following morning. I tried to walk out, but the clerk on duty told me I would have to wait until the morning. Next morning I checked out about 10:00 a.m. (an hour before check-out time). The assistant manager still charged me. He offered the help of the manager and he would have her get ahold of me to credit this day, but she hasn't as yet. This has now been six days. I DID check out an hour before check-out time of 11:00. I should not have been charged.

Mouse poop on the floor, burn holes in the sheets, stains in the carpet, the door latch was broken, and the place needs paint. Do not stay here unless you have had all of your shots and a gun under your pillow. I was extremely disappointed in the low level that a Brand hotel would fall.

THE WORST EVER!!!!!!
Reviewed By IfItsBadIsaySoMy husband and I were passing through, on a 2 day travel by car trip and so, I wanted to find a dog friendly hotel, somewhat away from Chicago. I went online and found this Motel 6 and booked it, about four hours out. By the time we got there, the house behind the desk said all the rooms were reserved except a suite with the broken jacuzzi, and the whole extra room was unusable. The desk clerk basically told me, take it or leave it, and we were so tired we took it. This hotel must be some sort of crack house, because there were people laying on the floor on doorways, in front of doors, all over the place. The next morning, there was garbage everywhere, including empty beer and booze bottles, EVERYWHERE. The whole place was disgusting. When I checked out the next morning, I said to the gal at the desk, that, wow, for a non-smoking room, it sure stunk. She said it wasn’t a non smoking room. I was floored, as that t what I had reserved. Then, she refused to give me a discount or refund and was completely unsympathetic. If I could give this hotel a lower rating, I’d have given it a MINUS TEN!! Do what I recommend, STAY AWAY!!
