Sumisid Lodge is a small and homely diver’s accommodation. The front patio of the lodge connects with the dive center. The venue is the center of Panagsama beach where you will find a variety of restaurants, bars and shops. The front of the lodge faces Negros straight and offers a pretty sun downer. There is a very casual ‘make yourself at home’ kind of feeling to the lodge. Meals are buffet style and if guest join for dinner than all the guest dine at the same time. The cook here has a reputation to excel when it comes to local favorites. Meals are served in the lounge/sitting area and usually guests take their plate and eat on the outside patio. The Dive center is adjacent of the lodge… it doesn’t get easier than this. While you’re having breakfast the dive center staff is preparing your dive gear and you can watch them doing it. A no-nonsense accommodation; this is how it is; this is how we do it and we do it right! If you’re here to dive, then you’ve come to the right place.

Reviewed By N9550ZSjameswI loved my stay t the Sumisid. Great location with the dive shop attached which I would highly recommend. Room was clean and comfortable with great AC. Staff were fantastic. Overall, I loved my stay and would stay here again on my next trip to Moalboal!

Reviewed By 92lvbWe originally meant to stay for 2 nights, but i got very poorly and luckily they had the room spare for us to stay another 2 nights. They offer breakfast, and snacks. The rooms are room only and shared loos & showers but both are cleaned regularly and in great condition. The room we are staying in has a double bed and a single, a fridge, tv and aircon system. The people who work here are so friendly and really helpful in what you're looking for. They also offer some tours which so far we have done the canyoneering to Kawasan Falls. Tomorrow we are doing the island hopping to see turtles and sardine run. I definitely recommend staying here if you are heading to Moalboal.

Comfortable and quiet
Reviewed By sydneysteveLocated about 600m away from the touristed area around Pangasama beach. Altrove Trattoria and The Three Bears restaurants are close by. They both have positive reviews so I dined here at night. In the mornings I would walk down to the tourist area for brunch. My room was large, clean with a wardrobe and table. The bathroom was also large with shower and toilet separated. Good hot water though the shower rose could do with updating. The aircon was very quiet but I turned it off when I went to bed. Spacious patio area with kitchenette and table and chairs. I enjoyed the privacy here.

Reviewed By Tae Hee KWe stayed 6 days and enjoyed fun diving at Lion Dive center. They introduced so many Amazing diving points in Moalboal!! Lion dive doesn’t allow smoking on the boat and it was the most satisfying point for me as a non smoker. Room condition was also better than expected~

Really bad restaurant
Reviewed By MathiasS682Worst service ever in the restaurant. Waited over 1 hour on the food, they don’t say much, everything felt slow/lazy and then they mixed up the order and it wasn’t even good. Don’t eat here is my advice.

Reviewed By tich1313booked this room for my gf and friends afterthey finished work they traveled to hotel from cebu,4 hour trip,had already rung ahead told them party would arrive late,when they arrived around midnight they were told the room had been taken and was fully booked.i ha to ring from uk to get them to fnd a place for my gf and 2 other girls wich they did,a tent wich they charged 800peso
