Yamba Beach Motel is a boutique, privately owned and managed Four and 1/2 Star Motel. We are situated on top of Yamba Hill, overlooking Main Beach. Our elevated position helps us to enjoy cool summer breezes from the prevailing north easterly. You can often view Dolphins and Whales (in season) when staying here. All our rooms are air conditioned and have private balconies. We are a short walk to all Yamba Beaches, Shops and Restaurants plus the famous Pacific Hotel! We also have an In Ground Pool, Foxtel + Free High Speed Wi-Fi Internet. Attached to the Motel is The Sandbar Restaurant & Cafe. Room Service is available. We are constantly upgrading our facilities to help make your stay more enjoyable.
Nice Room and Helpful Staff
Reviewed By Jim_brisWe stayed in room 2, a superior queen room with ocean view. The room was clean and well appointed with toaster, microwave, kettle and mini bar. The room had a small table and two chairs inside with four chairs and a table on the balcony. Bed was comfortable (a bit on the soft side perhaps) with several pillow choices. Not super private unless the roller blinds are down and the lack of a settee or more comfortable chair to sit on, rather than the bed would have been desirable. Room service it should be noted is only available when the cafe (Sandbar) downstairs is open which it was not on the Sunday evening, Monday and Tuesday morning of our stay. I also note several of the local restaurants don't open on Sunday / Monday - there are options, but these may be limited. Parking at the rear of the building is provided off street but can be very tight. Views and location are superb. Staff were helpful but it is worth noting reception times are limited.

Reviewed By Freedom757057The motel presented extremely well. The reception was lovely and staff friendly. Rooms were spacious and extremely clean. Plenty of stowage area for clothes. Heater worked well, good tv reception. Electronic code/key fob worked ok. Discount for melas/drinks At local Bowlo was great.

The Cove is a 4.5 star tourist accommodation complex located on the beachfront at Yamba overlooking Yamba's main patrolled surfing beach. It has a pool, spa, free Wi Fi ,4 lifts, Foxtel and a secure basement carpark. Cafes, shops and Yamba's famous Pacific Hotel are just up the road.

Reviewed By Geoff WHad booked accommodation for a week in March, but the floods came and the town of Yamba closed. Manager was great, transferred booking to early May without any further fees. The accommodation was great, went with friends, they had their own accommodation with bedroom and shower attached to our unit. We shared the loungeroom and cooking facilities. The balcony look down onto the main beach, which was only a short walk away. Main township was about a kilometer distant but walkable. Bit of a climb back up though. The units are large, well maintained, clean and the one we stayed in No. 20a and 20B were comfortable. Their price was reasonable for the time of year. The Cove has a large swimming pool with heated Spar attached.

Dog owner unfriendly
Reviewed By Sandra MI booked and paid for a riverfront powered site online. On arrival to the park I was told that dog owners can not stay on the riverfront. A refund which would be my preference was not possible . Our site as dog owners was in the back of the park near the noisy road - not even close to the river. It should be made very clear on the website that sites for dog owners are very restricted and inferior. I don’t understand why pet owners cannot be allocated a section of waterfront. Perhaps by the responses I have now read on TripAdvisor by the owners - we should feel so lucky to be allowed to stay here with a pet. I would prefer upfront information that allows me to make an informed decision about staying in this park. No TV reception. Workmen using electric saws and nail guns within 50 meters of our site on extensions to the park.

An oasis in a super coastal location!
Reviewed By darceyc91On a long coastal roadtrip from FNQ to Kangaroo Valley we stayed overnight at this wonderful clifftop place. I was saddened that we couldn't stay longer & have vowed to return for longer next time! The room itself was snug but perfectly comfortable. Clean 'as a whistle'! The bed linens were lovely & fresh with enough winter warmth included. The shower was an absolute dream! Water pressure was strong with consistent temperature & a marvelously large, luxurious shower head! Bathroom amenities were terrific too in the good-sized bathroom. Bathroom was spotless also. I rang ahead as we were checking in after hours & Reception told me they'd already placed milk in the fridge for us. Highly recommend!! .... PLUS the styling of the whole place was super!

Then we still have our traditional Pub Rooms with shared bathroom facilities for those who rather spend more time at the bar and restaurant, than in their rooms! Although the Hotel was built in 1934, it has real old world charm and is still very affordable for such a great location. We have live music every Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights which creates a great atmosphere in our hotel for your weekend escape.

Reviewed By judeosheaGreat place for lunch, as the views are fantastic. Meals are above normal pub grub. Get in and book a table durning NSW school holiday times if you want a table. As busy as it is, the staff are wonderful and it is worth the wait. Have a drink and enjoy the vista, If they have the ‘King prawn cocktail’ on the menu, try it. Worthy of Master Chef. I am going to try to replicate it when I get home.
