Great place - little pricey for what you get

Reviewed By niccyboy13

Nice spot, a little pricey for the level of service and rooms. But it's got a great tennis court and it's in a great location. Can be a little noisy. But it's a family resort so you expect that so it's fine.

Comfortable and quiet stay

Reviewed By rob3170

A pretty standard kind of motel experience overall. It's reasonably well located, clean and comfortable overall and despite the proximity to the main highway it was pretty quiet - even with a room looking right at the road. It's a little old school in terms of decor, has a few bumps, knocks and scratches but nothing dramatic. It's still well maintained overall. I have no complaints at all and would happily stay here again.

Satisfactory but overpriced

We stayed in a ‘Tourist Cabin’ which was tired and worn. And not particularly clean. The second bedroom had just enough room for the bunk but no space for bags/gear. Reception was brusque and not overly welcoming or helpful. Perhaps overworked.

Ingenia Holidays Torquay

Searching for a surfing escape in Victoria? Head to Ingenia Holidays Torquay to soak up the beachside atmosphere at one of Victoria’s best-known surfing locations. Located less than one kilometre from the Torquay Foreshore, Torquay Beach and The Esplanade, this is one destination best explored on foot, with local shops, cafes and restaurants on the holiday park’s doorstep. While the coastline might be the main attraction with over 20 beaches and coves to explore in the Torquay region, the holiday park gives you plenty of excuses not to leave with a solar-heated swimming pool, heated spa and landscaped gardens. With mini-golf, tennis courts, cricket nets, modern playground and games room – there are plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained when they’re not splashing about. Choose from a studio to a three-bedroom unit or book a powered site to camp or set up the caravan – including a selection of sites with synthetic turf.

Overpriced. Terrible customer service. Book elsewhere.

Reviewed By tanialn23

If you are looking for comfortable accommodation, look elsewhere. Whilst looking for places to stay to take the kids close to the beach over the school holidays, I came across Ingenia. We’d previously stayed at the park in caravan under previous management and had a great time. This time, we booked a cabin. There aren’t any photos of the cabins online and I now know why. I called the park directly to inquire about booking two cabins. I was basically sold the budget cabins, by Marley who seemed fairly helpful on the phone. Accommodation was $199 per night. She told me these cabins were the only option as they were booked over the break. She informed me they were doing the place up and they were great little rooms. She lied. We arrived before my family who had also booked a cabin. My son and I checked in and as we opened the door to this cabin, the smell of mould or must was overwhelming. The floor was dirty. The double bed did not even have a cover on it. Just a sheet on the bottom and in the top. The bathroom cabinets broken and the sink dirty. There were stains in the pillows- lucky we brought our own. My cousins cabin was technically un safe. The fridge dangerously close to the main sliding door, was at a 45 degree angle, because of the placing of the PowerPoint. The inside of the fridge had no panels, broken and not replaced. Again the smell over sickening. After their arrival, I went in to explain my concerns to Marley who was on the desk. She was condescending, flippant and not helpful. She basically told me that’s what you get for booking late. I explained to her that if I’d known the condition of the cabins, I would have booked elsewhere. I said it was really false advertising. She it wasn’t false advertising as they didn’t have pictures on their site with a smirk on her face. I asked if she could change or rooms. She told me they were booked out for the school holidays. The 3 nights we stayed many of the newer cabins at the back remained empty. She also told me they were an additional $40 a night. I would have paid that to stay in accommodation that was comfortable not cramped, broken and stunk. I was told non of this when I made my original booking. The pool is good. Kids loved it. Lights off in the park at nine. So many sites not booked. Obviously for a reason. Spend your money elsewhere.

Great modern looking pub. Went here with the family for dinner. Atmosphere was great. Staff where very friendly and accommodating. The meals were on the high price side but very generous. We couldn’t finish the meals off. But you can do a doggy bag. The restaurant was busy and only had to wait 20 to 25 mins for the mains. The meals were cooked perfectly and tasted fresh and delicious We ordered the chicken Parma, pork tacos ( she said very spicy) , roast pork belly and the parrilla tasting plate.
