Reviewed By Tammy EThe tub has probably had one of those rebath makeovers were a new skin is placed over an old tub. The floor was very wobbly / unstable. If you have stability issues, go somewhere else. It’s very dangerous when you are soapy and wet! The rest of the hotel was good but I wouldn’t stay again just because of the very dangerous tub / shower

However, the breakfast leaves something to be desired - if this is important to you, may want look elsewhere. Oatmeal was either dried out and overcooked (if not scraping the bottom), or watery and not fully cooked. Bagels were empty 30 minutes before closing breakfast and not refilled. Also, positively the worst TP - shreds just taking it off the roll. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable and the Kennedy Space Center is amazing!

Clean rooms, great friendly customer service - they go out of their way and even helped me print my cruise documents, I came in a night early and they got me a room without making me change rooms the next day even though I had a different room through goport for night 2. clean and hot showers, quiet , comfortable bed, adjustable heat and air , will stay again in the future. 24 minutes to cruise port.

Okay Stay For a Long weekend
Reviewed By kathyh215Check in was quick and easy. Front desk staff had a trainee and they both were nice. The key didn't work the next day but it was a simple fix. The room was what I expected. Older but most was okay. The floor needed mopping/cleaning. It was a laminate floor and definitely needed cleaning better. The room did have a moldy smell to it. We actually brought back a bottle of Febreeze when we went to the store. The hotel is close to almost anything you would need. Groceries, restaurants, etc. Breakfast was good. The staff kept the room clean and the food supplied. The pool area was good. The grounds overall could use a really good pickup of trash. But they appear to be having the same issues everyone is having...no staff. Any problem that I had was dealt with promptly. We will be back again as overall it was okay.

Reviewed By Ragtop2We stay here when we are traveling through Florida. It has been 5 years since we last stayed here. While still nice, the room we had is beginning to show its age. The towel rack in the shower is rusty and towels did not smell very fresh. I’m not sure if the smell was coming from the rack or not. The ice machines on most of the floors were not working. We finally found ice on the fifth floor, very inconvenient. Otherwise, the room and common areas are clean. I would definitely stay again.

Unpleasant 2 night stay - no pool, no cleaning... not recommendable
Reviewed By Kirsten WWe stayed at the Days Inn by Windham Titusville from June 01 - 03. Immediately upon arrival we were told that the pool was closed until further notice. We had booked the hotel among other things because we wanted to enjoy a dip in the pool after a long car ride - this was of course not possible. Supposedly, it was an "emergency maintenance".... Since we had booked via the portal lastminute.de, a withdrawal from the contract due to this defect was not possible - we were told directly that there would be no compensation. So we grudgingly decided to stay.... The first thing we did was air out the room because it was extremely musty. Since we had no room spray, we sprayed some perfume to be able to stay in the room at all.... The room itself is, as you can expect from a motel - the bathroom urgently needs to be renovated. When we returned to the hotel the next evening after a long day on our feet, we found our room exactly as we had left it: no bed had been made, no trash cans emptied, no towels changed, no bas cleaned, simply NOTHING. On request, we were told at the reception quite smugly that they do not clean the rooms during longer stays due to lack of staff, but we could take towels - but washcloths were just no longer there... The pool was of course still closed! All in all, a more than unpleasant stay that we can not recommend to anyone.

Reviewed By angelag643This b&b is not for everyone, but I think if you give it a chance, it will win over the majority of guests. The facility is full of history - the building itself, as well as the antiques that fill it. If you prefer a minimalist environment then this b&b will not be in your comfort zone. If you enjoy historical spaces and unique decor then you will find this b&b a treat. We stayed in the Sapphire Suite. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The suite was quite spacious so we had plenty of room to spread out our luggage and ourselves. I believe all the rooms are similar in providing more than adequate space. Due to the age of the building there is not central air and heat, but the window units kept the suite quite comfortable even when outdoor temps were in the 90s. The owners were attending a family function out of town, but the two women who were hosting were very friendly. We received small plates of crudité and drinks as well as homemade cookies at 5pm each day. Our two mornings of breakfast were very good. There is always coffee, tea, yogurt, toast, fresh fruit, cereal, milk and orange juice. The specials we enjoyed over the two days were peach cobbler, scrambled eggs, sausage, quiche, and a berry pancake type casserole. Again, while our initial impression was one of hesitancy due to the eclectic nature of the furnishings, we were completely won over by the staff, the food and the comfortable spaces. This facility has many positive reviews and we can affirm that they are earned.

Reviewed By DutchLaceTraveling through. This hotel was convenient with easy access from expressway, but far enough we couldn't hear the traffic. Nice BBQ restaurant to walk to. Room was clean and comfortable beds. Breakfast was typical for this type of establishment. Staff friendly and helpful.

Great Price but uncomfortable and poor customer service
Reviewed By HogMan1970I have been staying at the Extended Stay America - Titusville - Space Center for over a month now and the only reason I stay here is because of the price. The next best price in this area is about 70% more per night and since I am staying for about 2 months, the price difference is huge. With this hotel, you get what you pay for. The issues I have had were not uncomfortable enough for me to justify the price difference of the more expensive hotels. First the good: As I mentioned above, the cost is about 60% of the next cheapest hotel and no others in the area offer an extended stay discount like Extended Stay. The staff, all with whom I have interacted are friendly and professional. Unfortunately, the hotel itself, not sure it’s local management or the chain, is the problem. More on the problems later. For the most part, the room is clean and a good size for an extended stay. The Bad: Service is horrible! The hotel is supposed to clean rooms once a week on the day of your checkin. My room services have been all over the map and although I have asked several times to not service my room on the weekends when. I am working from the room, only weekdays when I am out of the room most of the day, they still show up on Sundays. When they do service, they almost always forget to leave wash cloths, hand towels, dish towels, toilette paper, soap, etc. I got to a point where I finally went to Walmart and purchased my own. The telephone in my room hasn’t worked since I arrive. The wire on the hand set is loose so that each time you pick it up, it fails. The only way to use the phone is via the speakerphone,. Notifications of upcoming services are not provided and services that inconvenience residence are not prioritized. For example, a couple of days after checking in, I can back in the middle of the afternoon with a lot of groceries, cases of water, etc. There was no way to carry everything up the stairs without making at least 5 trips. When I arrived at the hotel after shopping, the only elevator in the hotel was out of service and being repaired. The hotel never notified residence of the upcoming repairs (in the middle of the day) so there I was with no other option but to carry my groceries up to the top floor via the stairs,. It took me 3 trips just to get my perishables to the room so they wouldn’t spoil while I awaited the elevators to start working again. When I asked the reps at the front desk why they hadn’t sent out a notice, they said the repair company just showed up. Really? Who does that? Next, on 2 occasions, both times on the weekend, I came back to the room after a workout and there was no warm water to take a shower. When I called the front desk, they said there was an issue with the boiler. Problem is that, again, they don’t prioritize the residents and repairs are held off until the next weekday. That means residents are either stuck taking cold showers or no showers for a day or two. Again, advance notice to residents and since I was sweaty from the gym, cold showers were the only option. Beds and pillows are cheap and uncomfortable. If you are use to regular this mattresses on springs, you may not care but if you are use to Marriott or Hilton chain hotels, the sleep quality is night and day. Fortunately, since I had two beds in my room, I was able to stack 6 to 7 pillows on my bed to make my sleep tolerable. All the above is unfortunate because the hotel is in a great location and the folks who work here are very friendly and try to be helpful. Like I said, I am not sure why problems take a long time to fix, if at all, but it appears the issue is outside of their control. After this stay, I will not use this hotel chain again. I’m extending my stay in the area for another 2 to 3 months and if I could have gotten another rental this month, I would have checked out and done so. I have decided to not extend my stay but rather pay for a VRBO for the next 3 months after my current reservation ends.
