Excellent Hotel

My wife almost always stay at the Inn at Lost Creek when we visit Telluride. The staff is fantastic, the hotel is very comfortable, and it’s hard to beat the location. Can’t say enough good things about the staff, we have been impressed with every person we work with at the hotel. The Inn makes our vacation experience even better. Look forward to visiting them again.

Evelyn at the front office really took care me. She was so great and went far and above for my family even with four kids running a muck. Thank you Evelyn!! The peaks is amazing, the spa was great! I got a hot stone massage which was very relaxing and my wife got a facial. The kids loves the water slide and our room was perfect. Hope to come back soon.

Good location and views but VERY TIRED property

Reviewed By jmm1603

We stayed at Mountain Lodge based on TA reviews and pictures. Pros: location right on Double Cabin Green run and great views Cons: Our 2 BR condo was in very bad shape: very poorly equipped kitchen (4 drinking glasses total for 4 people, no measuring cup, etc). Broken closet door, broken cabinet doors, ripped lamp shade, broken toilet seat. I could go on and on. Also, the wifi is terrible. Finally, they charge $20 per night for parking but you don't have an assigned space and have to fight with other guests for a spot. Many more guests than spots.

Trip to the mountains

Reviewed By RHAIII

Well, I guess my fault for not reading ALL the negative reviews! One would think a business would try to accommodate their customers as best they can, not screw them! Driving trip from Louisiana stopping in Taos, Pagosa Springs, Ouray and Telluride. When leaving Taos traveling to Pagosa we were informed of my father inlaw's passing. Needless to say we turned around and headed home. The reservations for the next 2 day were at The Springs in Pagosa. We called The Springs and they were completely understanding and refunded our deposit and canceled our reservation even for that day! Thank You The Springs Pagosa Springs ?. 2 days later we were to stay in Ouray at the Beaumont Inn and they were equally as understanding and canceled no problems. Which brings me to the Victorian Inn in Telluride. We tried to call and got no answer and no way to leave a voicemail. I submitted two emails to their email address that confirmed my reservation and got no response from either. Mind you this cancellation was 3 and 1/2 days prior to our scheduled arrival. The day after we were to arrive Brandon from the Victorian Inn called to inquire as to whether we were going to come for the second days reservation. I explained that the dilemma to him as I already had in two previous emails and asked for them to refund our deposit. After that I submitted another email to the Victorian Inn requesting they refund our $550 deposit considering the death of my father-in-law and 3 days + notice of the cancellation. Of course no response to my email nor has the refund been applied. This day and age customers will remember when you screw them! Obviously this is the way they do business after reading multiple reviews where they have done this very thing when people have canceled due to covid. When you treat your customers poorly don't be surprised when you get crappy reviews Good luck Victorian Inn and I'll be sure to tell everyone I know going to tell you ride to never stay with you!

Don’t stay here if you have pet allergies.

Reviewed By cosmod638

My fiancée suffered all night, feeling worse and worse. The front desk graciously offered us another room, but there was just as much pet dander in that room as well. To top it off, the pharmacy in town was closed, so my fiancée had to make due with what little she had to manage her symptoms. I’m not really allergic to animals, but my nose became more and clogged, something this has only happened in the past when visiting friends or family with 4 or more furry pets. The hotel has 4 Pet-Free rooms (which were all full), but our room really felt unclean after how congested we both were by the morning. It sadly ruined the last day of our trip. I would recommend the hotel to offer Pet-Only rooms and make the majority of rooms Pet-Free. Please deep steam clean the rooms better after pets stay in the them. I wish the hotel informed guests upfront that we would be staying in rooms that multiple pets often stay in or provided more rooms to those not wanting to stay in pet dander-filled rooms. Which doesn’t really feel very clean after our one night staying at Hotel Telluride. After a full day driving across Colorado to get home, my fiancée’s allergies haven’t eased up at all. That there were so many kinds of dander from different dogs affecting her allergies. I cannot in good conscience recommend the Hotel Telluride.

BEST location for skiing!

Reviewed By LauraA339

We spent 5 nights @ this hotel and loved the location and many other amenities. Since we were skiing this is the best place and steps away for convenience to the free gondola station that take you up to Mountain Village. The room had a gas fireplace and nice view plus it was clean. The linens were nice and they even provided a robe which was nice to go to outdoor hottub each day. The hottub was the perfect end to our days on the slopes and had amazing views. The hotel provided a free convenient breakfast of cereal, bagels, juices, cinnamon rolls plus yogurt and fruit to start the day. In the afternoon they had free wine 5-6pm in the fireplace lobby area. Blake the desk clerk was pleasant, always greeted us with a smile when we came and went and gave us excellent customer service by answering any questions we had during our stay. Everything was super easy to walk to for meals, shopping, market. I highly recommend this place for your stay in Telluride.

Room 41 was great

Reviewed By travelingmama1952

So many positives about Hotel Columbia #41: Hotel could not be in a better location. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and the River walkway. #41 has beautiful windows, balcony off the bedroom, huge shower in large bathroom. Loved the location next to the gondola. Breakfast was very good especially the scones. Valet parking went smooth and with advance notice our car was outside ready for our morning departure. Mike at the front desk was great! Two negatives: The king bed is against the wall on one side making it challenging to get in and out. The sheets were old and need replacing. Overall highly recommend and would return to #41.
