Everything was good, just some tiny issues to be corrected
Reviewed By John YFirst time coming to Taidong with friends. Staying alone in a twin bed room. Overall very comfortable and luxury, they provide almost everything in the room including kimonos, so that I don’t had to spend my own pyjamas for my first day in taidong. The staffs were pretty friendly too, we went down to the lounge area during the night time, there was a band playing and the singer even waves at us when we walked in. But the menu was written “longee” (wrong spelling) instead of Lounge, which might confuses some of the foreigners, not a big issue, tho. The buffet breakfast is quite acceptable for me, although some might think the grape juices provided are too tasteless, so I switched to cappuccino, which is pretty good. Overall everything was nearly perfect for a 4.5 star hotel, just some tiny issues to be corrected. Good job and will definitely recommend to my friends and family.

Reviewed By MukjjjWorse customer service ! 長那麼大從來沒有去過台東， 趁這次長假加上我們的anniversary 決定去台東玩！ 一路上一切都是那麼美好， 決定在最後一天到知本老爺來個happy ending - 泡湯！ 司機在2:00把我們放下後就離開了。 誰知惡夢開始！ 5:30 吃完自助晚餐, 我老公衝去房間急著上廁所。 整晚就在小小的廁所度過長長的夜晚！ 而我在隔天早上吃完早餐後也開始上吐下瀉. 我請櫃檯看有沒有止瀉藥可以給我們應急， 但飯店不能給。我們必須坐5個小時的火車回家， 所以決定去醫院ER 檢查。 做完抽血檢驗報告， 證實食品中毒， 腸胃炎。 回到飯店， 我們找經理卻說在開會不方便， 整個處理方式就表現 “we don’t care”. 也沒有人問我們好不好。 真的很心汗。 前臺先生看到醫生証明腸胃炎， 就說你們自己的問題， 我什麼也不想多說， 指了上面「食物中毒」給他看。 我們早上9:00吃完早餐到5:30晚餐除了飯店的麻糬， 我們也沒任何東西。 我們不是奧客， 我們不上報也沒找記者，也不是要求hotel 要做什麼補償。 但基本的關懷慰問什麼都沒有。 其中一位工作人員問我為什麼我們二人要訂四人房？ 我老公身高194公分， 網上只有二小床，他不能睡， 我們只能多付錢睡舒服一點， 這樣也錯嗎? 難道我一定是總統才能睡總統房嗎? 我們在lobby 等了20分最後只說我們付你們的醫療費用加上晚餐錢。 言語下真的是對我們已經仁慈了。 當我們要離開的時候， 有人才敲窗告知我們的火車票要改時間會被扣錢， 這筆錢我要自己付。 經過這件事想起我在日本遇到相似的情況, Ritz hotel 飯店經理馬上帶我們去看醫生， 去幫我們買藥， 折紙鶴祝我們早日康復。 上次在香港香格里拉飯店蓋羽絨被整個大過敏， 反應給飯店， 三位經理加二位assistant managers 全部來房間道歉， 了解情況，送上禮盒。 真的很心寒。 台灣的服務業， 四星級飯店都不到一個水準。 但收費比國外五星級的飯店高。 想起那晚在房間內看的那本書 「 我與老爺酒店」by 林清波-「創新是追求進步的原動力，在旅館業中，創新的意義在於尋找新方法去滿足客人的需求，尤其要想辦法去察覺客人尚未提出的需要，」我想他的員工從沒有讀過他的書。 how ironic. 希望他的老闆可以看到這一篇也希望可以讓他們的員工好好反省。 房間的角落真的，都沒有清乾淨， 都是灰塵還有蜘蛛絲， 浴缸牆都是霉， 號召四星的飯店?0星級的服務品質。

Great Hot Spring with Fun
Reviewed By Tsung QQuality of hot spring itself is perfect! Great facilities of the big hot spring pool and mountain spring cold pool as well as various kind of spa massage functions, and Scandinavia sauna. All of this hot spring area are outdoor or semi-outdoor, can enjoy great air at the same time. Room is quite good for the price, while the breakfast especially the oil quality is a tragedy.

Reviewed By Alan3332014Nice hotel :) unlimited buffet! comfortable bedrooms, great wifi, i especially like the entrance, it looks like a fancy living room! The best is the view from the rooftop where you can enjoy the sunrise with the view on the Pacific Ocean.

Quiet days in a well-maintained simple hot spring spa
Reviewed By JrondelleYes, there is sulfur smell all over the place - this is one of the reasons to visit a hot spring. The pools with different temperatures are well maintained, staff is caring, and the best thing: From morning 8.00am to afternoon 5.00pm you share these great facilities with - nobody. Tour groups leave after early breakfast, and the next tour groups do not arrive before late afternoon. In between it is all yours! Maybe a local couple or two is joining you in this great jungle-embedded location. If you do not like the pool (why?) you can always fill up the bathtube in your room with hot spring water. Walks take you into thick forest (beware of monkeys), and to smallish shops and restaurants nearby. But do not expect any distractions other than than. Enjoy the remote location, the nature, the quietness during the day - and the breakfast buffet. There are wooden huts available in the backyard, which are recommended. A place to relax and enjoy - at reasonable cost. And do not be picky: Chinese tour groups keep prices low. To get there (and away), take the hourly bus either to/from Taitung bus station, or to/from Zhiben train station (same bus). Avoid taxis. You do not need them.

Comfy, Clean Stay in Chill Town

Here's what I like... 1) Friendly staff who recommended places to go 2) Very clean 3) Very spacious 4) Very comfy bed 5) Great design for the room 6) Great shower 7) Great wifi 8) Value for money What you need to know... 1) It's a 15 min walk to the hotel from the Taimali Train Station (or you can call for a cab at the train station - look out for the numbers pasted near the public phone in the station). 2) It's located along the main street of the town. 3) This place does not have an elevator. 4) The free breakfast consist of NT$50 vouchers which can be used at two designated breakfast places. If your order exceeds the value, just top up with cash (I found the NT$50 adequate, although if you're a big eater, you'll probably need to top up). 5) Local shops, a 7-Eleven and a Family Mart should more than meet whatever supply needs you have. 6) Taimali beach is a short 10 minute walk away (it's a gorgeous beach, but not safe for swimming) 7) IMHO, the exterior of the hotel fits in with the rest of this old, laid-back town, while the room interior looks very different. Overall... Very happy with the stay.

Nice remote location of this smail hotel with hot spring tub
Reviewed By doublewoodscjThe room is very spacious with everything you need. The bed is comfortable and clean. The bath room equipped with the hot spring tub you can soak in. We were surprised that this area is used to be very popular with tourist now we couldn't even find a place to eat within walking distance. Lucky enough the hostess offered us an early nightcap with two big meat buns each person as our dinner. A delicious breakfast is included. Good food, good coffee. We quickly learned enough to utilize the local bus route and move around the area including the national recreation park and Taitung city.

We offer very spacious rooms with King size beds and have friendly staff to welcome you. It's a great peaceful place for nature lover-able to see mountains as well as ocean from the room. Walking distance to Jinlun station, the convenient store (7/11), and the beautiful beach where you can see very first sunrise in Taitung area.

Reviewed By labviewl經過知本，不喜歡待在知本市區的，可以考慮這間，飯店乾淨，也有溫泉水，可看山景，可唱卡拉OK，早餐很養生也能吃很飽，老闆會招待釋迦吃到飽，坐在那看知本山景很舒服。缺點是進去飯店路比較小，要小心即可，另外沒有電梯，家庭房在三樓，要提行李比較麻煩。
