Fabulous position

Quite a modern feel and everything you need for a short stay We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment. Negatives - Room quite small, considering we had the superior it wasn’t very big, would be hard to stay for more than a couple of nights. Blanket that has been put on the bed clearly wasn’t washed, when we took it off it was covered in sand and this got all over the clean bedding underneath. I’d rather no blanket if it’s too difficult to wash! Bathroom needed a deep clean as grout in shower was mouldy and a lot of cobwebs throughout room but key elements were ok. No air con which I don’t mind but impossible to leave window open because our room opened on to the gravel car park and people were walking backwards and forwards all night setting all the security lights off and crunching the gravel - take your ear plugs when it’s hot! Charge was advertised at €10 euros for a dog. This is expensive compared to similar hotels, not sure what the €10 pays for as it feels like sand is a bigger problem in the rooms than my dog that doesn’t shed any hair and brings her own bed! If it was immaculate, I understand, but for an extra mop of the floor which should be completed after each stay anyway this seems a bit excessive. Maybe a deposit system instead?

Reviewed By Pino-VenariaVery small double room, very small bed (french style), very small bed...........all small but the price. Breakfast available at cost. Closed to the beach. Clean hotel, friendly staff. Would not return there again.

Appalling treatment
Reviewed By ElenaB315Booked a night at the hotel and fully paid it 3 weeks in advance. The very day of arrival they canceled my reservation due to overbooking and found me a cheaper accommodation 15 km from the seaside, without even proposing to reimburse me the difference. I just got an email with apologies while I was already heading to the hotel, they never called me by phone. The answer to my complaints was that they did what was due by Booking.com rules and that was my fault if I did not answer to their emails.

Lovely location. Avoid Room 402 at all costs!
Reviewed By mcentAs other reviews have mentioned some of the rooms here are poor. I will go further. They are absolutely dreadful. We booked 2 nights and left after 1. To their credit the management refunded the 2nd night with no questions asked. The block with rooms 402 and 401 should simply be demolished. It's that bad.

Perfect Summer Holiday
Reviewed By Mark CWe arrived to a very friendly reception for booking in. The Mobile Home was spotless and in excellent condition. We went to have coffee the morning after we arrived and the coffee machine didn't work. Within 10 minutes of reporting, a new coffee machine arrived with a smile. Excellent customer service! The pool area was perfect for our family and the pool was very warm, so no having to dip your toes into cool water. We decided one evening to eat in and order pizza and chips. Very reasonably priced and great portion size. We would recommend Camping le Dauphin to anyone looking for a great all round holiday, close to the beach. We will be going back again!
