Expensive but nice pool and breakfast.

It was expensive. But the pool was nice and actually heated to a swimmable temperature compared to other hotel pools. The breakfast was also good quality and a nice variety. Staff was also very helpful and nice.

Wonderful room; fantastic lounge

Reviewed By lgl6000

My husband and I stayed here a couple of weeks ago and had a wonderful experience. The staff are great and the room was very nice. The best part of the room was the bed; it was very comfortable. I seldom have the experience of a really comfy bed at a hotel. The bartender in the lounge made the best cocktails I have had in years. I highly recommend this place if you find yourself in Redmond.

Not worth $200.00

Reviewed By karincG8250PK

We reserved one night for Saturday, June 4th, in a pet friendly room. The lowest price we could find in the area for any hotel was $200.00 due to multiple events in the area. The room was dirty, with stains on the chair by the table, carpet and bedspread. The blanket felt sticky - like you would actually stick to it. The bedside "table" was falling off the wall. The bathroom had dark, miscolored flooring. As we were walking to our room we saw that the sprinkler room door was open with caution tape blocking entrance to it. For the price I would expect cleanliness and inviting atmosphere.

Manager will NOT return repeated phone calls

Reviewed By julatta

We have stayed here often, in fact for years, when we come from Portland to spend the holidays with our family in Redmond. Yes, it's my fault that I did not see the small font when I booked, that said non-refundable. We did not anticipate an out of the ordinary snowstorm that made all the passes from Portland to central Oregon nearly impassable. In fact, none of our family from outside of Redmond could make it there. I called over 48 hours before our reservation to let the front desk know we may need to cancel if the roads didn't improve and was told that she could not give me a refund based on my reservation. Since I did not want to be out nearly $500, we attempted to make it. When it became obvious over 24 hours before our trip, that it was not safe to travel, I called to cancel and asked for the manager to call me. I never received a call. I emailed the contact info for Choice Hotels, the parent company of Comfort Suites, and received an email a couple of days later that, since their hotels are individually owned and operated, I would need to contact the hotel directly. My husband has now called THREE times, only to be given the same message that the manager would call him back. It has now been nearly three weeks of phone calls. Do you think a manager has called? Of course not. I get it....we booked on a non-cancellable reservation, but you can't even give us a call???? What if instead of a snowstorm, it was COVID that would have caused us to cancel? Guess we'd have to drive there anyway and stay in your hotel so we don't lose our $500. This did not just happen to us, but also our sister whose flight from Juneau was repeatedly cancelled due to staff shortages and the snowstorm in the Pacific Northwest. Absolutely NOTHING she could have done to get herself from Juneau to Redmond, Oregon, without a boat or an airplane. After years of being a repeat customer of this hotel, we will no longer be returning. Good luck to anyone who wants to get ahold of the manager of this hotel in the future.

Wouldn't stay again

Reviewed By Kenny R

I have booked this hotel several times before without problem. However the last time I made a reservation the unscrupulous and crooked front desk staff rejected it and blackmailed me into paying cash for much higher amount. I gave in because it was too late to shop for another hotel. WARNING: Don't be fooled by the too-good-to-be-true cheap price advertised. This is shameful classic bait-n-switch. Their special or sale price is worthless because they will cite BS reason why your reservation did not go through when you come to check-in.

Ok hotel but very annoying reservation process.

Reviewed By tommygriffin

The reservation process is annoyingly long and complicated with lots of unnecessary questions before you are told if there is availability or the price. I’ve stayed here before and never had suck a frustrating experience booking a room. They seem to be excessively mining data and customer information. I get the feeling I should expect a lot of robo calls soon! They don’t need to know my age, interests, etc to simply book a room. STOP THIS INSANITY! Just run a clean cost effective hotel. That’s all I ask for.

Okay option for the price

It's not the most attractive of motels and the room was definitely in need of updating. But the bed was comfortable and the shower worked fine. For the price and staying only one night it's not a bad option.

Just a room in the middle of nowhere

Reviewed By NHDebandAl

The rooms are spacious, because they are minimally furnished. Outdated old and worn down hotel furniture. Very 70’s/ 80’s but not in a stylish retro way. There is no breakfast. You can buy a $3 coffee and a $3 danish from the cafe which is not owned by to hotel. There is a convenience store on site but hardly anything is priced. Also be advised that even if you stay only one night you will be hit with an additional $14.50 Resort Fee. Overpriced, lackluster. Just a room. Nothing special about it in anyway.
