Perfect Stay in the Redlands Area!

Reviewed By rachellew5289

We checked in here Saturday to stay nearby my wedding venue for Sunday afternoon. The hotel property is clean and well maintained on the outside and the inside, and the staff was really nice and helpful. We walked in and out of the front doors many times, and never once saw the lobby anything besides spotless. The room we booked was the "family suite" which is 2 adjoining rooms, and the space was perfect. We had a total of 16 people in there between the 2 rooms Sunday morning getting ready for the wedding, and it did not seem crowded at all. The room was nice and well kept, and the water pressure in the shower was perfect. Everyone who went downstairs and ate breakfast in the mornings (Sunday & Monday) enjoyed it, when I walked through Sunday morning and saw some of my family eating breakfast, I did check out the breakfast area and did notice how clean it was, especially considering how many people were in there. Only thing I can say about the staff other than they were all extremely friendly and kind is whoever was working the front desk Sunday morning between 5:40 am- 6:00 am was ignoring the intercom and the knocking on the door while they sat in the office. I had to walk down to let one of my bridesmaids up however, if she was a guest with a key this would have been a non issue. All and all 5/5 stars on this one, the hotel is nice, clean and all of the staff is extremely friendly and kind.

Really Horrible! Bad reception!Dirty rooms!

Very Bad! Do not go close to it! I don't usually like to give negative reviews but since the hotel sent me an email asking for my review, here goes. Hopefully the hotel will read this and maybe take some action. The receptionist in the day was very rude and impolite,I went to her before 12 pm to ask her to check out 30 min later ,she was very rude and said just 10 min even though my husband was on his way from business and couldn't get there in less than 30 min.I went back to the room to put my luggages in the parking lot and leave the room, my key to the door was disabled and I couldn't go inside.I usually stay at 4 and 5 star resorts and none of them treat their guests like this! This is a horrible place!

Bulldoze this

Reviewed By starkame

This place is dirty, old, stinky and should be bulldozed. The furniture is torn, stained , lamps look like they came from a garage sale, one you couldn’t turn on. Initially there was no remote for the tv. There was a dead bug of some kind. Wear your shoes on the carpet. Walking down the hall you could see the filth pattern on the carpet. Very poorly maintained.

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!

Reviewed By SanDiegoDiverDown

What an experience we had this past weekend. I was in town for business and had my family with me. I noticed trash overflowing out of the trash can right outside the front door as soon as I arrived. Shortly after checking into our room we heard horrific screaming and cursing coming from the room next door. I immediately called down to the front desk and asked to change rooms, but of course they were "completely booked". After multiple calls to the front desk they said they would "take care of it". After a while the screaming and cursing stopped so we thought we were good. The area around the hotel is full of homeless and there are encampments in the bushes surrounding the hotel. The next evening when I arrived back tot he hotel very tired from a long day there was now a pile of trash next to the trash can by the front door. About 9:45p the horrific screaming and cursing began again. It literally sounded like someone was being murdered in the room next door. The banging on the walls sounded like all the furniture was being tossed too. I called down to the front desk and begged the manager to do something. He said he would "take care of it" and seemed to indicate this was a usual occurrence. What the heck!!! Nothing happened and the screaming intensified. By now was wife was terrified because it sounded like this crazy person was going to come through our wall. I called multiple more times to the front desk because nothing happened and the manager said there wasn't really anything he could do. I was so fed up and upset that I called the police. After an amount of time it did sound like the police came. I'm not really sure what happened but the screaming and cursing stopped but banging noises continued for the next several hours. Needless to say we terrified and now couldn't sleep. What a terrible deal. I am just thankful that my young kids slept through that event because they heard the one the night before. I would like to think that this was an isolated one time event but I'm not so sure based on my interactions with onsite management. I really would like my money back from this hotel. I have travelled the world and stayed in countless hotels, but I would have to say that this was, by far, my worst hotel experience ever. BEWARE!!!!!!

I travel a lot and this place was not at all welcoming , clean or secure. The advertised breakfast was not considered breakfast at all. The cleanleness of the room and grounds was disappointing . The 1 office office staff clerk was overwhelmed and not happy and we felt the heaviness , no welcoming smiles. Our trip was not for pleasure but to visit a loved one in Loma Linda hospital ICU. They need more help.

Cops LOUDLY arrested someone outside our door

Reviewed By shellsjobs

Seriously, if you are a woman, do not stay here. If you are alone, do not stay here. If you care about having at least a comfortable safe place to sleep, do not stay here. We checked in to find only 2 small towels in our room and one wash cloth, which we could have made due with if there were any tissues or paper towels to dry hands on... but no such luck. There were also no shampoo or conditioner, no microwave or fridge, no cups and no extra TP. When they say “no frills”, they REALLY mean nothing. The beds were also pretty damn hard and the shower was pretty gross. For a price of over $100... this is so not worth the price! Oh... and some dude LOUDLY got arrested and fought with the officer right outside our room door. There was also a cop helicopter hovering over the hotel. DON’T STAY HERE.

Worst Hotel Experience I've Ever Had

Reviewed By amandasmith478

This was literally THE WORST hotel I've ever stayed in in my life. I'm not sure I can even detail out everything that was wrong with it, but I'll try. First, what's up with the front desk window almost never being open (even during normal business hours)? It's really annoying, and seems totally unnecessary (as there's a huge piece of plexiglass between the front desk worker and guests, so the excuse CAN'T be COVID). It just makes guests feel like the hotel staff doesn't have any interest in serving them. Second, we had the LOUDEST neighbors next to us - every night we were there except one, they played loud music at 10-10:30 for an hour or two and significantly impacted our ability to sleep (even with a sound machine). We called down to complain the first night, which resulted in absolutely zero change in the volume. The next night we tried to call multiple times and could never get ahold of the front desk. We went down to the front desk in the morning and tried to complain, and the person at the front desk told us to call between 10 PM and 9 AM (apparently their quiet hours?) if our neighbors were being loud - i.e. they wouldn't take our complaint about noise unless it was DURING the quiet hours. What kind of customer service is THAT?!?!? None, that's what kind. Unreal. Third, I was absolutely SHOCKED that "linen service" was EXTRA - when no one was even coming to my room and bringing me new linens / taking my old ones! I know with COVID, hotels have cut back on how much they clean rooms and refresh linens - totally understand not coming but once every few days or something, but telling me that I have to pay extra for the privilege of bringing my linens down to the front desk in order to being given new ones is absolutely ASININE. I wouldn't complain if it was included in the price - it would still be annoying and somewhat untenable, but to make me pay EXTRA?! They should be ashamed of that policy, 100%. It's insane. Let's see, what else...oh yea, we found hair in the bathtub - the person traveling with me wanted to take a bath, but just opted for the shower because EWWW. Also, I think it's crazy that there are no hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner, or tissues in the rooms. I've stayed at extended stays before that included all of those items, PLUS dishes and flatware, and were similarly priced. The nickel-and-diming that is going on at this hotel is like nothing I've ever experienced in my life. Also, the table lamp in our room was possessed...it would go on in the middle of the night, so we had to just unscrew the lightbulb every night before going to bed. We also loved that the light switch by the table lamp on the nightstand operated the overhead lights, and the lightswitch by the door operated the table lamp. Nice wiring, right? I think the last thing I'll mention is that this hotel is NOT in a very nice area (although none of the hotels in Redlands really are...), and the clientele are pretty rough. I realize that that's kind of to be expected, but we definitely saw a LOT of rif-raf loitering about outside, and overall didn't feel super safe. For a new hotel, this place is pretty much garbage. I can't in any way, shape or form recommend staying here.
