Nice hotel to stop over when driving

Reviewed By munird2014

We drove from Toronto to Orlando and stopped here for the night. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was good enough to energize us for the day. The check-in was okay. The lady at the reception was just about friendly but when asked about upgrades (because of my Diamond Status) or on a special rate (because I took two rooms) she said this was beyond her authority and we would have to call Hilton directly or go online. As we had a long drive with another drive the following day we simply accepted what she advised us. The night was otherwise very comfortable and the bed in our room was excellent. Munir D.

Welcoming & clean. Perfect for families!

We were driving home from Florida, and stopped into this Fairfield after briefing looking at the great reviews. We were so glad we ended up there. We were greeted by a lovely lobby and very nice staff member. We needed a pack & play and she got it immediately. (We have waited hours at other hotels for this amenity). The rooms and the hallways were clean. Bathrooms were well stocked with soaps and hair dryer etc. And again, very clean. Beds were comfortable. The hot complimentary breakfast was the highlight. It was very well stocked and had lots of options. We made a quick overnight stop this time, but after even our short time at this hotel, I have bookmarked it for the future!

Great staff - but absolutely the worse general manager.

Reviewed By Katina W

1st the young man that checked me in was extremely sweet, professional, and courteous. However the general manager, Doreen was the rudest and most unprofessional person they could have as a manager. She was rude to me when I checked in, actually rolled her eyes at me. She has tacky and unprofessional letters to her staff that everyone can read when they are checking in. I actually apologized to the young man for having to ask her anything on my behalf because she was awful. You can tell she has zero hospitality experience.

Not worth the money

Reviewed By snikky2022

They advertise amenities they don't have. Be wary of the good reviews and how old they might be. It's more a motel than a hotel. Their "hot breakfast" is a granola bar and a muffin, so if you have any common food allergies your SOL. The wifi might as well not exist and the data there isn't reliable because of the area. The beds are lumpy and the nonsmoking rooms smell strongly of smoke being covered up. The AC is way too loud and clangs on and off startling my entire family (toddlers included) awake. List goes on and on for reasons to avoid, in particular for families with little ones. Regretting our decision to stay there.

One night, was one too many.

Reviewed By Tonya4052

We did a one night stay here on our way home from visiting family and had a miserable sleepless night 12/26/2021. When checking in we were told the elevators were out of order & they placed us on the second floor since that was what they had left. Unfortunately our room was across from the stairwell so we had to hear the door slam all night but the kicker was the compressor that ran off and on all night under our room which was loud and vibrated the whole room. I have a video of the noise that can be heard from outside our window from traffic and the parking lot. My husband went down at midnight to see if they had ear plugs because it was just that loud. They didn't have ear plugs but told him they would move us to another room on the third floor to help with the noise, which if they already know this is a loud room & have other available rooms why put someone in this room in the first place? We ended up not switching rooms due to my Mother traveling with us and the burden of having to get dressed, pack up and move middle of the night. I find it odd that as rewards member we are asked for reviews by other locations but not this one since they were well aware of the issues with our stay which is where I read all good reviews from and made the bad decision to book here . Best thing I can say about this hotel is the location is right off the highway with a few good places to eat near by. Breakfast seem to look ok, we grabbed coffee and hit the road since we still have a long drive and was very tired.

Sleep well

The Motel is easily accessible from the main highway. Located near numerous eateries. We stopped for the night to get some sleep on our way to visit fain Myrtle Beach. Motel was clean. Very basic. What we needed for a night. We didn't need to spend lots of $ for a place to stay 1 night. Has a mini fridge, microwave a coffee pot with coffee and essentials. Loved being able to sit outside on the benches instead of feeling locked up inside after dinner and until bedtime. We will most likely stay there again on our trip back to Pittsburgh.

Waiting for an update

Reviewed By ParkAddict

When we pull into a motel at 9:30 p.m. after booking it 20 minutes earlier, our expectations are low because we intend to stay less than 12 hours. In this case, the motel met our low expectations. The good things were plenty of space, comfortable beds, and a pretty good shower. On the other hand, there's not a single hook or hanger, the TV had only three channels (which repeated several times, so it looks like there are more), and the bathroom floor was dirty when we arrived. This was OK for our short stay, but I would not recommend it for a longer time.

The shower had good water pressure but the tub did not drain so you took a shower in water. The breakfast was ok. Seemed like to may of had more before. It was ok for a fee hours sleep.
