Customer service was poor on occasions, mainly through no follow-up. Value for money is very questionable - several items seemed very pricey.

Reviewed By ColmFrWe stayed here for a few days in August. The hotel is spotlessly clean; very near the beach; with professional and polite staff. Great place!They very kindly and quickly helped me when I forgot some stuff in the room on my departure.

Its the location that makes it bearable!

I spent a week with my family in one of their family rooms '2 x beds and 2 x sofa beds' The room was clean as far as the mopped floor was concerned and the towels were fresh but i was disapointed by the dirty covers on the sofas and the dead ants upstairs 'loads and loads of them and ive lived of the jungle floor for a couple of weeks so i know!' I would advise against using the upstairs floor if you have young children since its not safe due to the big gaps in the varanda and steep stairs.All 4 of us slept on the 2 x sofa beds 'felt like camping with a roof above our heads : ) ' I didnt complain 'my fault i must say ' since it was our 1st day and i didnt want to rock the apple cart just yet! The kitchen was basic and it had all the things you would need to cook a family meal 'pots,pans, cutlery,plates,bowls,cups etc' You have been warned, there is No oven,microwave or freezer... The toilet was large enough but you had to hang a towel on the back window to avoid getting too intimate with your neigbour 'who had a perfect view of your toilet!' Plus the shower head was chest height which was pretty funny actually 'must have been made for a Hobbit' but after a week getting a shower on your knees it kinda got a bit boring! I know that you dont go on holiday to watch Tv but it would have been nice to have one with at least more than 3 channels, but hey thats my opinion. The staff where helpfull but make sure you know some French 'like you should anyway' we had a power cut and it took a couple of attempts to explain the problem. Even then it took a couple of times too track the staff down to get the problem sorted. Now reference location. It smack bang in the middle of Porticcio 'excellent' Sufficient parking and 100m from the local supermarket and pharmacy. No more than a 5min walk and your on the beach. Bars, restaurants and nightlife a stone throw away. Saying all this you would expect it to be very noisy but i was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't. Would i stay here again ermmm....... not really because i would have rather paid for a vila for the same price or even forked out more for the space. If you want location though its spot on , check it out on google maps and decide for yourself. Ciao .

Reviewed By Matt RGreat hotel only a 5 min walk from a big sandy beach and dozens of good restaurants, boulangerie and a supermarket. The rooms are spacious and set up for self catering so there's only breakfast provided on site. There's a kitchenette in the rooms and they're a very decent size. The pool is huge by hotel standards and satisfyingly deep for a proper swim. Also a poolside bar. Seemed plenty of sun beds and the hotel staff were really helpful around my poor French. The corridors are wide and spacious unlike alot of hotels I've stayed in, and a good size bar area. Will definitely come back here next time I'm back in Porticcio

Living room with sleeping area (two twin beds or a double bed) with flat screen TV with Freeview + equipped kitchen (microwave oven, two hob, extractor hood, dishwasher, refrigerator).Bathroom with shower and sink. Separate toilet. Direct dial telephone, wake programmable, air conditioning (hot / cold).Terrace or balcony (if upstairs) with private table, chairs and parasol. Most have sea views.The duplex (40 sq m) consists of a main room + a loft (attic, height decrease).
Excellent value for money
Reviewed By F2474BPpetersA really super b+b. We had a twin room with balcony and view over to the island of Elba. Porticcilo us a pretty little sea port in Corsica's east coast . Over three days we were able to explore the east coast of the Cap Corse. Wednesday we took the ferry from Macinaggio to Barcaggio with an en route swim in open sea. Really amazing. An afternoon on the beach in Barcaggio was followed by a four hour hike on the coastal footpath back to Maccinaggio. Breathtakingly beautiful scenery. I strongly recommend the Cap Corse and this accommodations. Vey welcoming and hospitable.
