Reviewed By Maitravels66We booked directly with Karla and stayed in the Studio with seaview and terrace. It was clean, comfortable bed, modern shower room, a kitchenette and an amazing terrace with a view of the bay through the trees. Our host Ane was so lovely and we received delicious treats of fresh figs, a taster of a delicious seafood stew and and Octopus Salad on another day. It was so nice that we extended our stay from the booked 4 nights to 5. Hopefully we will be able to return one day. Thank you for your hospitality

Brilliant Budget Location
Reviewed By AlexWattBrilliant location! The host was super friendly and nothing to much trouble. A simple clean and air conditioned room, with a stunning view ! Hire a scooter down the road and get exploring. Wi-fi works fine & sitting on the balcony watching the sunset is stunning!

Si vous cherchez un logement à Polace, allez-y, non seulement l'adresse est situé à littéralement 10 mètres de la mer, mais la propriétaire est aimable, arrangeante et accueille les voyageurs dès la sortie du taxi (note : avant juin, pas de Ferries directement à Polace mais vers Pomena, 10 minutes de taxi vraiment abordables). Nous avons logé dans un des 3 appartements situés à l'étage supérieur et la vue nous a tout simplement conquis. Côté équipements, vous trouverez tout ce qu'il faut pour passer quelques jours à déconnecter entièrement sur cette île paradisiaque qu'est Mjlet (prononcer Miette) (climatisation, bouilloire, plaques + équipements de cuisine, douche, canapé, 1 terrasse avec table et chaises). Au programme de vos journées, réveil vers 8 heures et bain de mer entre les bateaux de pêcheurs ou sur un ponton situé à environ 70 mètres à droites du logement, un escalier descend vers ce lieu plus que sympathique, attention néanmoins aux oursins (anecdote, ceux ci, ne vivent que dans l'eau non polluée, signe que vous êtes au bon endroit ! ) Si vous le pouvez, prévoir des chaussons pouvant aller dans l'eau car de petit coquillages et cailloux sont présents. Revenez ensuite profiter de la vue en petit déjeunant depuis votre terrasse avec le soleil éclairant les Yachts à l'ancre sur la baie de Polace. Vous pouvez ensuite choisir l'une des nombreuses randonnées et excursions en vélo possible (location de vélos possible à 100 mètres du logement, prendre le loueur en face du petit supermarket qui est arrangeant sur les heures de retour). Le parc national de Mjlet vaut le détour et se situe à seulement 20 bonnes minutes de marche depuis le logement, nous vous conseillons d'acheter vos billets à côté de l'ancienne forteresse romaine à l'entrée de Polace, la personne parle très bien anglais et vous indiquera le chemin et des conseils pour votre ballade. Après votre journée, revenez dîner à l'appartement après un dernier bain sous le coucher de soleil ou bien aventurez vous dans les restaurants se trouvant à proximité immédiate du logement. Vous l'aurez compris, nous avons été beaucoup plus que satisfaits par ce séjour, que ce soit dans le logement ou sur Mjlet et vous invitons à y courir (conseil qui aurait pu être utile pour nous, ne prévoyez pas de logement dans les jours suivants votre séjour à Mjlet car vous aurez envie de prolonger ce bonheur !!) Lovely staff, basic apartment

The style of the apartment is not reflected in the price, however we understand from looking at other apartments on Mljet that accomodation is quite expensive. The room: Comfortable bed Clean Relatively spacious The bathroom: Clean The shower was a dribble. The toilet seat was not attached properly. Each morning it smelt quite strongly of sewage. A small amount of shower gel was available upon our arrival. The kitchen: Clean Fridge Cutlery Utensils No hot water tap (it's not even plumbed in!) The balcony: Newish sunlounger Basic table and chairs Amazing panoramic views across the bay. Location: Supermarket and bakery close by Close to restaurants Shuttle bus to national park Shortish walk/cycle to national park As said previously in another review...if you traveled Asia on a budget, this is the kind of thing to expect. The room was clean however, I will not be staying here again. BEWARE THERE IS ONLY ONE TAXI AVAILABLE, WHICH WE FOUND IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT. However, the Nona Ana ferry goes to Polace. We made the mistake of catching a ferry to Pomena. Fortunately, we stumbled across a hotel in Pomena that would give us a transfer to and from Polace. Staff were friendly and helpful and made our stay enjoyable.

We own a private house with a total of 9 units (5 bedrooms each with a private bathroom and AC and 4 apartments). We are situated in the National park of Mljet, only 4 meters from the sea. The house features a common kitchen, a grill and parking spaces.
Terrible! A total rip off and misleading advertising of rooms...

Pros: - nice view from the very small window in the room Cons: - pictures of room loaded to the booking website show a room with a large balcony with sea view. This was the room we booked but NOT the room we were given - we were given a tiny attic upstairs with a tiny window and no balcony! - door handle broken - no door handle for bathroom door - impossible to open from the inside! - absolutely no amentities in the room - beds weren't even made! - cockroaches running around on the floor! - a total rip off at the price
