Wonderful Hotel
Reviewed By frankv643We stayed here end of September. The hotel is a beautiful French villa with an incredible large Garden. The Garden has a nice pool where you can relax on the many sunbeds and enjoy the quietness. The rooms are comfortable and the owner and staff do everything to make you comfortable they are very friendly I really love this place when you want to relax This is the second time i Stayed there and the place makes you want to come next time.

Access to the Hotel is from the Aristide Briand square via the garden entrance or the Louis Giraud square through the impressive façade – a historical setting which we are privileged to share with our guests.
Disappointing Restaurant Change of Ownership
Reviewed By bonnie pThis was one of my favorites a few years ago, now new owners have taken over and it has fallen out of favor. Prices up, selection down, service unprofessional. Our wine glasses were large (red wine glasses when we were having white, but never mind) and the portions unusally small. One person ordered a salad for her main course and they delivered it with our starters, oops. The main course was brandade de lieu noir, which is flaked fish mixed with potatoes, and was okay but uninspired, and came with nothing else, just the fish in a bowl. The starter was basically a grilled dry ham and cheese sandwich, it was fine but a strange starter. This restaurant was formerly a very good value and the food and service excellent. I live nearby and will give it a pass in the future. I have no comment on the hotel.

Reviewed By JGXWords cannot do justice to how amazing Le Temps Suspendu is. This is our second visit and was even better than the first. The hosts Valérie & Eric cannot do enough for you and make you incredibly welcome. Eric is a thoroughly outstanding chef creating delicious breakfasts and even lunch for us one day. The rooms are spotless, well furnished and extremely comfortable. There is a complimentary bar where you can help yourself to wines and beers and if you’re really lucky you will encounter Chloe, the delightful French Bulldog who lives on site. Thank you both for a superb stay!

Reviewed By Tom WI visited the hotel with a group of 6 for a night early in the summer. Unfortunately two members of the group ended up paying for the accommodation (the night of the stay and the following day) although the accommodation was fine the hotelier has refused to refund one of the charges. very unhelpful

Reviewed By Will JPatrick and Fabienne are super hosts and a stay their is the best. Their facilities are great and the surroundings are excellent for cycling or just visiting all those beautiful villages where after your travel you can go for a swim in their pool

Reviewed By Victoria GWe rented a cottage for 6 nights in May. Wonderful property, roses and jasmine everywhere. Very good place for children - so much to do: pool, batut to jump, toys to play. It is close to Avignon, and Luberon villages. Every day we went to different villages. House is comfortable, rustic, and with the character) I would stay there again

Disappointing to say the least
Reviewed By hildenleyOn arrival the building resembles an American motel. On check-in we were told by the receptionist we could not have dinner as we had not reserved beforehand, although we naturally expected the restaurant to be open over the weekend at least for its guests. We like to enjoy an evening meal with wine but do not drink & drive but there was no alternative in walking distance. During our discussion, the receptionist allowed her son to interrupt. This we found not only rude but unprofessional for him to be behind the desk whilst she was dealing with guests. Eventually, she arranged for us to eat there that evening but not the following day as a wedding was booked in the events room. Our room was basic, in need of some maintenance but clean. Dinner was served alongside the reception desk in the large characterless hall, better suited for breakfast as there was no ambience for an evening meal. The sullen waiter made no attempt to converse either in French or English but produced a menu on a type written A5 piece of paper, not very professional in any establishment. There were only 2 options on each of 3 courses but at least the food was good. We ate breakfast outdoors but the buffet was set up in a small separate room, which could have been re-decorated to create some ambience & intimacy for as an evening restaurant. We had intended to stay for 3 nights but we decided to move on to find somewhere with a restaurant serving food on a Saturday evening.

Perfect relaxing summer stay
Reviewed By AGlobal_JetsetterThis is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway for those who seek a bit of peace and quiet or lazy afternoons by the pool or in the garden. While there is lots to do within a short drive (vineyards, antique shopping, small town markets, hiking), there is not much going on in the immediate vicinity. That is exactly the charm! We enjoyed spending mornings browsing Provencal markets or wine tasting, with afternoons spent by the pool in the hot sun, and then making a nice dinner with the things we bought during the day, which we ate on our terrace at sunset to the soothing sound of the cicadas.

Reviewed By cosybabesWe stayed for three nights in this beautiful farmhouse. In fact we would happily have stayed much longer and were very sad to leave Danielle and Marc’s beautiful b&b. Everything was perfect: their hospitality and genuine friendliness, attention to detail, the location, the cleanliness, the outdoor area, the pool, the breakfast (lovely fresh products with a fantastic crêpe) and much more. We were made feel really at home and they even got out lots of toys for our naughty little boy to play with. We loved the two beautiful cats and Ghost the family dog too!!! Can’t say enough good things about our stay and we are already planning to return next year for a longer stay.
