Reviewed By UncleTeeAll the warm recommendations for all travelers going to France and The Pyrenees. This Bed/Breakfast really has a great atmosphere and greets you welcome with open arms. Great food, clean rooms and welcoming staff! Everything sits on a farmers landscape which makes it great to wake up in the morning to the sounds of the hens. The area is located between Pau in the East and Orthez in the West, which makes this BB perfect for people visiting both the beach, mountains or just passing through! Plenty of space on the front side to keep your car or RV for that matter!

A different kind of "hotel"
Reviewed By StefanonHolidaysWhat a weird experience. From the outside the hotel looks normal, but only when you enter your room you realize how much of a hospital this is. My room really looked like it was operated in yesterday. Don´t get me wrong, it was clean, it was large, but you must like the experience. If you are the kind of guy who would like to spend a night in an abandoned hospital without the mold, this is your place. If you have a phobia about hospitals, you might want to choose a different place to stay. I loved it!! (Shared) bathroom is very large and spacious, that also comes from the past of the place since handicapped people must be able to use the shower. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Not as good as other hotels in group
Reviewed By AliT2665Overnight stop on our way back to UK. This hotel has a pretty little courtyard area, picture attached, but the rooms are very small, the bathroom was tiny, as was the shower, which you had to hold over you, then hold between knees whilst washing yourself. The breakfast was poor for €10, we got there at 8am an hour after breakfast started, there were no plates we had to use our saucers, there was little left in the way of things to eat, a few pain au chocolat and croissants and a couple of pastries. It didn't appear that anything was being stopped up at all. We stayed in an Originals hotel on our way down to Portugal it was far better. Orthez was a pretty place, not a lot going on, not many bars to just have a beer or two and very few restaurants. We did find one restaurant which was very nice, at a reasonable price, €49.50 for 3 people 2 courses each and drinks included. We would definitely NOT recommend using the restaurant attached to hotel at €29 for 2 course or €35 for 3 course per person.

Reviewed By 371audreygAccueil et service parfait. Personnel agréable. Établissement atypique en cœur de réhabilitation mais très agréable et confortable, calme, propre, un très bon rapport qualité /prix. Situé à 7km d'une grande base de loisir équipée, ombragée, Baignade. Nous le recommandons.

Personnel agréable, cadre correct, bonne literie, propre, possibilité de se faire un repas du soir ou un déjeuner car il y a un équipement cuisine.....les résidents sont ravis de voir des « jeunes »....et le mélange des générations est très agréable !
