Warm, Relaxing Environment

It is a lovely family run hotel and everyone (except the woman who staffed the breakfast room on the first two days of my stay) was kind and friendly. Speaking of breakfast, if you book your stay through the hotel website, the excellent buffet is a bargain at 5 Euros. When I booked, the cost was 3 Euros and the lower rate was honored. It's still a huge bargain at 5 Euros. The location is convenient to the Saint Roch Railway Station, Centre Comedie, and the tram lines. My Superior Double Room was moderately sized, but had a feeling of spaciousness, as well as tons of natural light. There was also an incredible amount of storage space. And most importantly, it was spotlessly clean! Simply stated, this hotel is an all around wonderful establishment and I highly recommend it for a stay in Montpellier.

Great hotel as a Stopover
Reviewed By themadmancWe were travelling from U.K. to Spain via a long drive through France and booked this hotel as a one night stopover. We were very dubious about a 2* hotel but thought it’s one night, we just need to sleep, we’ll take a chance as all the reviews were so good. We needn’t have worried. It’s basic, yes. But immaculately clean (and I’m fussy), huge double bed, bathroom was clean and functional with no mouldy silicone (I hate that) and the staff were absolutely fantastic. The young lady on reception couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful. We were knackered and starving. She suggested a few restaurants and takeaways and we decided on a pizza delivery. She came and knocked on our door when it arrived and got us cutlery and crockery and a table in the breakfast room. Parking is plentiful right outside the hotel in their own parking lot and free. The bed was comfy, the location quiet and we had a great nights sleep. We were up and at breakfast for 6.30am next day. Again, blown away by the quality and quantity of breakfast. Pastries, cheese, ham, eggs, fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurts and great coffee. And once again a friendly and helpful young lady looked after us at breakfast. Some reviews said they struggled finding it, we used ‘Waze’ and took us straight there. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel for a stopover and we’ll definitely use it again.

Excellent hotel, right by old town, with convenient parking
Reviewed By Nicola BAn excellent choice for a couple of very comfortable nights. The room was large, cool and well equipped. The rooftop pool was a real bonus. Unfortunately the receptionist who said she would book us in for dinner the first night forgot and there was no availability when we turned up - a waitress giggling didn’t help. However, a different receptionist went out of his way to help and show us where to go. Limited pool snacks but those we had were excellent. A most enjoyable stay, with a pleasant wander round the 'not so old' town, and a petit train too!

Not clean and not easy to access if driving
Reviewed By Malena's Awesom... VWe got to the hotel very late at night and we had a very hard time getting our luggage. We had to find the hotel first and then return to get the luggage from our car. The parking did not feel safe at all. The hotel bathroom was dirty. The rooms were stuffy, poorly lighted and do not resemble the rooms in the hotel Website. Breakfast included is not recommended.

A good stay at a well located hotel

The tram system, too, is only a short walk away with single journey tickets at 1 Euro 60. Other “Day” tickets are also sold at mahines at the tram stops.

Horrendous noise issue making sleep impossible
Reviewed By Sunshine09760366464Ruined stay due to plumbing noise 3 night stay, first night fine. Nights two and three horrendous, issues with pluming, loud noises starting from approx 3am making it impossible to sleep. After second night assured that problem would be fixed, to be woken up by loud noise from pipes at 2.40am on night 3, this continued until after 7am. Even ear plugs didn’t help.

Reviewed By Jules_RichardsSituated just off the autoroute, this was the perfect one-night stop off on a trip home after working away. Found and booked on booking.com. Plenty of secure parking and friendly, efficient check-in made for good first impressions. Room was compact but more than adequate, complete with safe, complementary water, tea and coffee making facilities and good WiFi. There’s no evening resto but the place right next door, Hey Hey Restaurant, is excellent (also reviewed that). I was tired but the bed was very comfortable with an impressive range of pillows. Breakfast was a well-stocked buffet with bacon, sausage, onion tortilla, cold meats and pastries. There was a variety of juices and even a contraption so I could squeeze fresh oranges which I did. Altogether a splendid start to the day after a cracking night’s sleep.
