Reviewed By 674beverleynEasy to find location. Good breakfast with plenty if choice and lots of it. Good, helpful reception staff and a clean and tidy room in the main, but.... Bathroom awful, mould round the shower tray, cracked washbasin, bathroom fan didn't work Nowhere to plug a hairdryer in near a mirror (provided hairdryer useless) No tea and coffee making in the room despite this CLEARLY being advertised on the website. Coffee from reception 'bar' small and ridiculously expensive Overall would probably not recommend or stay here again. Not up to Campanile standards elsewhere.

Delicious meal
Reviewed By NicholadorsetStayed for one night on way back to the U.K., nice setting on the edge of the town. Rooms a little dated, very dark with drab wall colouring. Bathroom was ok, again bad lighting! What did impress was the restaurant, very French with very good service. I ate foie gras, magret de canard and a superb dessert. My husband had the menu of the day, which he said was very good. Excellent wine list, we had two halves of red and white wine. Would definitely eat here again, but not stay.

The roses and flowers are amazing and the garden is well maintained and offers a beautiful backdrop for a dinner in the outside area of the excellent restaurant. The restaurant is excellent and the chef and owners and restaurant staff are amazing. Highly recommended.

Great Find
Reviewed By Jean Cwe stayed for one night on our journey from Spain to Uk we have stayed in one of the chain hotels before but this was a refreshing find. Well priced, clean great evening meal and breakfast and very well priced. The proprietors had some English we had little French but google translate was the winner and we all got along fine, we would certainty stay again if we were in that area.

Fruits, viennoiseries, biscuits ... Tout le monde y trouvera son bonheur. De plus, les tarifs sont très abordables. Merci à vous.

Okay for a night
Reviewed By jonsie36As the title says, it's okay for a night! We stayed here on route to Perigueux. The room is of an adequate size, but that's about it! The bed was stiff and small, the pillows a little hard, the bed covers inadequate, but very clean. The room furniture and decor was very old, the bathroom door didn't close, and the wardrobe was in the hallway! But, this is a very old building and if it had been the summer, it would have given that old French feel to the place. The bar area is okay, and there is plenty of room outside to sit in the late summer evenings. If it was cheaper, it would be ideal, but it's too expensive for what you actually get.

Hotel Richelieu - Central and Good Value
Reviewed By daviesrusuWe booked our stay for 1 night while holidaying in Spain. We needed and overnight stop and decided that the old town of Mont-De-Marsan was ideal. The hotel was right in the centre of the old town which was excellent. We also requested overnight parking and breakfast but weren't sure if the request had been accepted. When we arrived, the receptionist was waiting outside and cones were immediately outside the hotel doors. We pulled up and were warmly greeted. Car parking in the hotels garage had been reserved for us and Continental breakfast also. The room which was more of a suite, had a nice bath/shower and a sofa, chairs and a table. It also include a fridge and a safe. We were amazed because it was around €60 for the room and an additional €30 for the parking and breakfasts. Very good value. The only downside was that there was no a/c in the room, but it had 2 large double windows which provided a slight breeze during the evening. The old town is quite interesting with structures going back to the 16th century and on the confluence of 2 rivers. We found the bars around the old town square particularly enjoyable on a warm evening after a long drive. Highly recommended for an overnight stay at a bargain price.

Mon seul regret, la prochaine fois et j’espère qu’il y en aura...je ne resterais pas juste une nuit. À très vite , et merci du fond du cœur.
