Reviewed By Meng San GThis hotel is situated right next to the Hiroshima airport. It does take a little drive to get here. Our GPS lead us up this extremely twisty hill before we got to the hotel. This hotel is very unique in that you actually book the whole chalet/unit. There are only 8? in the whole premises. The chalet is huge and comes with 2 rooms with 4 beds into. There is a grand living room with dinning area and a small kitchen. You can do laundry in the shower room washing machine. The fixtures were new and well maintained. There were thoughtful touches like portable heaters for extra warm should you need it at certain areas. Kettles, cutlery and other kitchen equipment provided so cooking is a possibility. My only gripe is that there is only one toilet. This toilet is located in the right wing of the house. The shower is the left wing. So it would be a 20-30 step shuffle in the cold from one to the other. The lobby is quite grand and has the ornate wood cabin/library with vibe to it. Overlooks the airport and a garden with a small maze and water feature. There is a small Italian restaurant right next to the lobby and would probably be your source of sustenance since there are no stores or restaurants anywhere close to this hotel. We drove 15min to the nearest supermarket to buy supplies. There is supposed to be a convenience store at the airport itself which is probably a good 15-20min walk away. There was a small lake area next to the hotel and a park as well. We had a nice morning walk around the premises. Our house overlooked a small pond and garden as well. You could sit on the balcony and just chill. Overall the house was grand. Classy.

You get free helping to the toiletries! Staff are really friendly & willing to help. Found this GEM from fellow travellers’ reviews! Must stay if you plan to visit Rabbits Island!

Reviewed By clm2016For anyone traveling though Japan, Mihara is a pretty, quaint port town "close to the airport. The train station is really close, shopping isn't too far away, and has a cool little pub district. Be prepared though since very few people speak fluent English here. Expressway is a few kilometers away, Hiroshima about a 45 minute drive, 30 minute train ride. Fukuyama about 20 minuted by train. Osaka is about 2-3 hours by car or train.

Reviewed By kjkgenealogyfanI had wondered what the hotel would be like after reading some of the comments, but found it provided everything we needed and while the room was certainly compact we didn't feel too squeezed in. The room was comfortable, the en suite bathroom fine, with a good shower, and the hotel location was very convenient and central. Staff were helpful and extremely polite. A free smartphone for guest use during the hotel stay came with the room and we found it very useful. I find it odd that an earlier reviewer complained about being disturbed by the management after having failed to leave by nearly half an hour after the checkout time - checkout time is clearly stated and anyone who doesn't like it can choose to go elsewhere! Most places have either a 10 am or 11 am checkout. All hotels have their own rules and you don't just decide to ignore them because you don't like them...

Nice & clean, and convenient
Reviewed By PLAHPAs you may know, Hiroshima Airport is located in the middle of two big cities in Hiroshima prefecture, and too far to go early in the morning from either city. This hotel is reasonably priced and you can walk to the airport I 5min or so. I always use here as it is more than enough. 広島空港から歩けるホテルでとても清潔で静かな十分なクオリティですが、市内と比べると価格もリーゾナブルです

Reviewed By shigeru1Few years ago, when I attended Mitsubishi Heavy Industries(MHI) technical training, I stayed in this hotel with ten other mates. There was a desk in a room, but it was so small and almost useless for studying. If you carry large suitcase, there is no space for leave it flat. Walls seemed so thin, you could hear noise from next rooms. My room was facing south and had to leave an air conditioner on all the time except sleeping, it was a bit noisy. I guess this hotel is designed for just one night stay, economy class travelers. You can watch small ferries in and out narrow passage from inland sea to Mihara port. It was interesting to watch ferries make quick turn around and precise docking. We went out for bowling, eating, drinking almost every night and made a lot of noise around this hotel. It was a fun. We don't know what was rates but I guess breakfast included. Breakfast was very good for any body, Japanese or foreigners. We were a group of Europeans and Asians, every one enjoyed breakfast. People at the front desk were so polite, kind and helpful. We could rent bicycles free at this hotel over weekend and enjoyed cycling around town. And they also rent umbrellas free when it was raining.

Reviewed By goldfish778昭和の香りがする古い旅館が大好きなので私はとても気に入りました。JR三原駅からも5分くらい便利な場所にあります。こちらは昭和27年からの営業とのことですが、その時から時間が止まってしまったかのような宿です。中庭のある造りの昔ながらの木造旅館で、床もギシギシとするので年季は感じますが、それも味があって良かったです。宿の方がとても親切ですし、静かで落ち着く宿でした。どちらも共同ですが、トイレはウォシュレット、お風呂はシャワーもあってお湯もすぐに出るので不便はありませんでした。古さゆえに万人向けではないと思いますが、1人のんびり過ごしたい方や昭和を体験したい方にはお勧めします。

Smelly rundown room, but good location.
Reviewed By GazbaggyAsked for a non-smoking room on booking, but they put me in the most smelly and rundown room in the property. Also, wasn't really clean. Complained, but they wouldn't do anything about it. Basically stayed out of the room as long as i could. They probably thought that being a foreigner I wouldn't be coming back to their hotel anyway, which is true. On the good side the breakfast was ok and location is close to the Sunami ferry for getting to the Shimanami Kaido Islands. 予約の禁煙ルームを求め、彼らは財産で最も臭いとランダウン部屋に私を置きます。また、本当にきれいではなかったです。訴えたが、彼らはそれについて何もしないだろう。基本的に私ができる限り、部屋の外にとどまりました。彼らはおそらく、私はとにかく自分のホテルに戻ってくることはない外国人であることは真実であると考えました。良い面では、朝食はOKだったし、場所はしまなみ海道島に取得するための角南フェリーの近くにあります。
