Reviewed By jenaspineda516I've been to lots of island vacations. Each of those getaways impresses me with their own remarkable allure. Our stay here though in Bintana sa Paraiso was majestic. I tried both their jungle snd mountain resort and each resorts boasts of their own unique charm. While cell signal is understandably unavailable because of it' location, the hotel provides modern conveniences such as wifi and cable tv. What makes up for the lack of signal is the service and accomodation of the staff. They provide such homey and personalized service. It's like being pampered by your own family. They tried yo cater to all our needs. Bryan Lopena is one gem of a find in this resort. Our Camiguin experience wouldn't have been this special if not for him. He was very knowledgeable, informative and indulgent. Through him we discovered some hole-in-the-wall nooks and interesting trivias about the island as well as some generous servings of culinary delights. He went above and beyond his call of duty to provide us with the hospitality that best represents our traits as Filipinos. Already we are rearing to return with family and friends to let them experience the same adventure we had. I'll surely go back to Bintana sa Paraiso and savor a relaxing vacation again.

A beach front hotel with 1 - 2 bedroom apartment with private terrace, 4 deluxe poolside rooms, 4 Superior beach front rooms and 2 large family rooms good for 6 or 8 people. Poolside and roof terrace dining serving local and international cuisine,breakfast is complimentary.Bar lounge and TV area with WIFI . Large adult and small children swimming pools. A wide range of tours including White Island, Mantigue Island Marine reserve, full round the island site seeing and diving trips can be arranged, beauty treatments and massage can be booked at your convenience. Superb sunsets and views of White Island noted for its peaceful setting and beautiful gardens. Transport can be arranged on request.
Nice restaurant at the pool
Reviewed By yaughtjohWe stayed 6 nights in this resort and I would like to highlight the restaurant they have which is pretty cool, they offer different tasty options (we tried several) and for a good price. You can sit next to the pool, on your patio watching the sea or overlooking at the sea on their terrace. Menu is on the wall but they also have additional menu with more options. The included breakfast was great and served by friendly staff. I recommend this place!

In the middle of Yumbing Bay, just in front of white island. All rooms have individual bathroom with hot and cold shower, ceiling fan, terrace, see view. Superior room has large screen cable TV, aircon, mini-bar, sofa. Renovated in 2015.

Reviewed By MariaRallahParking was a bit of a tight spot and the entire place is generally tiny but the beach side suites were quite spacious. It has a good beach front. The rooms were also very clean. The location was a bit hard to pin down.

The owners are totally bad german people and absolutely non professional...they only want your money and they will try to rip you off wherever they can! Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. Camiguin is really beautiful, but avoid to stay here. We still regret our stay here so much, it almost ruined our holiday. They will try to sell you some kind of tour/hike which is not worth the money or the will offer you a dive at their housereef. Honestly their housereef is really bad and not worth a dive. Stay somewhere else, or just take a boat to white island or wherever you want to go on your own. Don't spend your money here!!!

Mixed feelings

The location is really good in the middle of jungle and on a clear sunny day you can spot the sea and I believe you can see the sunset, sadly when were there Philippines were hit by a typhoon so it was raining every day. Still the surroundings were beautiful and hotel itself as well. The downsides were: the room had a very light and thin curtains so it didn't feel private and in the morning it was too bright. As it was in the mountains it was cold in the night and the duvet was really thin. We had cold shower most of the days but this was due to the typhoon same as no wifi. I feel if the curtains were thicker and darker the room would be good. Regarding food as mentioned in other review it was really bad and inedible. Pancakes for breakfast were fine but any meat dish was really bad, not sure why is that. One night there was a massive invasion of big wasps and I am allergic so it was very uncomfortable. And the worst things, when we used the hotel's laundry they damaged most of our clothes and returned it stained without any apology or notification! That was unacceptable. I must say, after an argument at the reception they did cut some money of our room bill so it got partially sorted, but would not expect this behaviour from any hospitality. All in all, it is a beautiful place, but need many improvements - food wise, staff wise and the curtains.

We are just a kilometer away from the famous White Island and other tourist destinations where you can treasure the best of your time in Camiguin Island. We are located 250 meters away from the National highway in Dal-as, Barangay Agoho in the capital town Mambajao, a 5 minutes ride from the airport and about 20 minutes from the seaport of Benoni, Mahinog.

Reviewed By D5158GAstever#1 the owner Henry is so so helpful, he met us at the gate with warm reception and told us we COULD have checked in early (we waited until 1 to arrive). #2 Flora & Fauna abound, hand built koi ponds, exotic birds (giving birth while arriving), plants galore. #3 clean, CLEAN cottages, spotless rooms, amazing flooring, bathrooms your Grandma would be proud of, kitchens fully stocked, big fridge, great stovetop, water provded, and last but not least ENGLISH tv channels!!!! #4 location, LOCATION, 2 blocks from main road BUT you would never know from the peaceful tranquility, Mountain View Cottages are delightful

Reviewed By girafe111Definitely a different kind of place to stay! The cabana are super clean, the decor is very pretty with a happy vibe! I would stay there all over again! The staff is very nice and u can get some places to eat walking distance but always better to have a scooter...

It's not trying to be a five star resort! It's perfect for the short stay. Staff are friendly but really shy to foreigners. You won't get much out of them. Had a nice stay. Thank you

You imagine a Resort nestled in Tropical Botanic Garden with hundreds plants and flowers, where the mahogany trees delimits the land, the fruit trees are spread in the property and there is a Wonderful Talisay tree in the middle of the garden. Where you can hear only the birds song and the "rumors" of Nature.Big Cottages availables, with bedroom, living room,private bathroom with shower (hot/cold water) and large porch, where you could find relax and you be absorbed from this amazing nature.We are near to White Island and Ardent Hot Spring (some important Attractions of Camiguin Island).

Didn't need the a/c, left the windows open, and let the waves put me to sleep and wake me up. It is close to several nice places to eat, a short tricycle ride down the road. The staff was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. i booked for 4 nights and stayed 6, would have liked to stay longer. Highly recommend !
