Been to samos many many times allways loved this hotel, not any more rooms still nice & clean, day entertainment still same very good most of staff are the same & very friendly. Hotel falls under the 3 drink rule so we went full boad what a wast that was, breakfast OK lunch & dinner were deafull the cheapest cut of pork & tiny chicken wings every single day very very poor choice no cheese or hams to even make a salad, there was water with lunch & dinner for 7days of my holiday on day 8 the water had gone you have to pay for water with your meal I complained & all they said was what room are you in very intimidating as if don't like it leave. So had to eat out a lot. The bar is over priced one euro deposit for a plastic cup €2.50 for a small beer €2 for a pint outside hotel €7.50 for vodka & cola. I will be back to magaluf very soon but not back to samos the hotel has changed & not for the better.

Appalling attitude.

Arrived at 12 noon. Allocated one of two rooms booked which was fine as we were early. Decided to eat in Casa Nostra hotel restaurant and ordered four meals and a jug of Sangria. After 25 minutes no food or drink arrived. I spoke with a second member of staff as our original server was busy showing her friend photographs on her phone. When I questioned where our food and drinks were he asked if I was sure I had ordered! Anyway five minutes later our Sangria arrived. Twenty minutes later still no food so then went to find the manager who very dismissively couldn’t explain what had happened but did find our order and amongst other rude arrogant and dismissive comments asked ‘do you want the food or not’. Suffice to say we said no and left. Will not be eating in the hotel restaurants from now on if this attitude is indicative of management. Sadly for us this has spoiled the weekend as there are very few nice restaurants nearby but at least the staff are nice appreciates the business.

Stayed here for May half term 2022. What a fantastic time we all had! We were a family of 3 (two adults with our 9 yr old son). We had a Family Room which, as some have said, may be classed as a small room, but it was more than adequate for us - somewhere to put your heads down! Family Rooms do not a balcony, which we missed, but we could have moved to a Double Room with a balcony, but the beds would have been smaller and our little man was super excited to have a double bed to himself. There was a large wardrobe, a wall TV and a cabinet with storage holes. Our son had a huge double bed (was a sofa I think, but was pulled out ready for us to use and we did too (twin beds together). But they were so comfortable! They felt like proper beds and the pillows were comfy too. Free safe in the rooms too, which is nice to have! Check in was fast and the hotel staff were all friendly, from reception to the entertainment team and attraction members. We made many requests at hotel reception and they were so quick to comply. We asked for blankets and got proper quilts, which was nice and we requested a kettle, extra hangars and extra pillows and everything was waiting ready in our room within the hour! Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is so clean and our rooms were cleaned everyday even when we did not leave the "clean-our-room" sign on the door! Our towels were changed daily too! Very impressed. Facilities and attractions were well maintained and clean. We would recommend everything. It was so much fun and our little man loved everything. The upside down house was amazing too and it's worth paying the extra 10 EUROS per pass to upgrade to a GOLD pass to include unlimited golf and the laser challenge. The splash park is great too and nothing was too busy, considering it was the school holidays. You do have to reserve a bed early, but we never sleep in anyway, so this was OK. The food and drinks were good too. Breakfast was definitely the best, including English sausages, fried breads, tinned tomatoes and a variety of eggs, including freshly made omlettes. Cereals were good too, with fresh pancakes, choc spread, waffles, croissants, cakes and donuts. Fruit juice was nice and the coffee machine was lovely too. They even had yogurts of all makes and flavours, fresh fruit and milkshakes. Dinner was good too and the puddings were amazing. Whatever it said they were, that's exactly how they tasted, as some puddings abroad can taste bland or all the same. The evening meal would be hard to make up a proper meal, but still a good selection and you would never go hungry. Our child is super fussy and he loved the meal times, especially the fresh pasta station. 5 mins from the hotel there is a KFC, Maccies, Pizza Hut, Starbucks and Subway so if you are not AI, you have a good selection of fast food too. We recommend Black Beards Bar (beach front) and Morgans Bar (right from the hotel) for nice drinks and cocktails and for a special meal out, Black Beards food is amazing! The beach is only 5 mins away and it is nice in parts but be careful as there is a lot of littler, fag ends and even underwear buried in the sand here and there so we didn't stay all day, but still worth a couple of hours-just be wise where you sit or hire a bed (4.50 EUROS each). We would recommend the Western Water Park too and you are best getting a taxi there (5 EUROS) and paying at the entrance to get the full day and save waiting for a coach or you can even buy your tickets ready at the hotel. Such a fun day with lots of different slides and attractions. Worth the money! Going back to the hotel, we would definitely recommend and will be coming again. Not sure where the bad reviews have come from because we found it hard to fault anything! Thank you for such a wonderful stay. Our little boy is already asking when we can come back! :-)

Lovely holiday! Excellent entertainment staff!

Reviewed By TheRowellFamily

What a lovely hotel! Friendly, pleasant staff. Check in was straight forward, staff member did have to ask his boss to clarify something but wasn't a problem... We have all been new in a job before! Entertainment staff - the most dedicated staff I have ever came across, so happy, friendly and so good with the children! They work so hard all day everyday! They honestly made my daughters holiday, she is usually so shy and not confident when joining in with others but she really came out of her shell on this holiday due to how the staff were with her! She got to do amazing activities while at kids club such as Olympic games, water activities, Indian night, making dinosaur eggs, treasure hunts, writing her name in hieroglyphs.... The list goes on! ❤️ She loved the water carpet very much too! I cannot praise the entertainment staff enough! Another thing I loved about the entertainment staff was that they really got to know the children and called them all by their name, just a little thing but made my daughter feel special. I wish I could put into words properly how they made our holiday so special! The room - we could not believe it when we stepped in our room, it was so big!! It was very clean on arrival and cleaned every day thereafter. Towels were also changed every day too. The food - we were bed and breakfast but paid to eat our evening meal there a few nights. My daughter is fussy when it comes to food but there was always something for her. The only thing I would change about the food is more vegetarian options, my son is a vegetarian but it wasn't really a problem as he always got something to fill up on. Maybe put beans on at breakfast too but that's just me ? The snack bar food was lovely! Overall a fantastic stay for my children (12 & 8) and I! We loved it that much that we have already booked for next year because of our experience this year! My daughter hopes that the entertainment staff are still the same.... And I do too because Happy children = happy Mam! ❤️

We lapped up every second of our holiday. Hotel Martinique was as hoped for. Clean rooms, big laid on buffet breakfast, English speaking staff. Glam pool area, one of the biggest pools I’ve seen. Dipping pool on the terrace, which is needed to keep cool as it gets so hot, loved this space, it had a different feel about it. Magaluf buzz is what we wanted after a couple of flat years and it was back, what a place. Tied into our get together in the sun. All I could hope for. Feel alive again.
