Reviewed By justj246Value for money hotel if you want to stay in Luodong . Convenient location, few minutes walk to Luodong station & night market. Also many restaurants & convenient store nearby. Staff is very helpful & friendly. When I enquire about the train schedule for the next day, the staff checked & provided information with prices & timing. Clean hotel with basic amenities. Room is spacious & wifi is good.

Reviewed By San_YSYThe rooms are reasonably-sized and clean. Hotel is conveniently located near the luodong night market and has a small gym and laundry facilities. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they have vegetarian dishes for breakfast.

Great service, but lack quality

It was very relaxing to stay in the room, but the constant noise of trains passing by may be very ignoring if you like to have a quiet place. However, for those trains lovers, they may enjoy it. I am ok with it, but not my wife. She was very upset about the early noise of trains. The sky bar is a great idea with a great view of the city view, but the service is awful. It was nice to sit on the top of the room on a summer night, but the service quality is definitely not 5-stars level despite they do really work hard. We wait an hour for the cocktail we order. Actually, there are not many choices of cocktails. For a price like this, I am expecting more quality service, not just great service. People are friendly and willing to help, but just not so professional that you expect for a 5-stars hotel.

HIVE HOTEL located near LUODONG train station about one minute walking time. Taking transporting bus from Taipei is the most convenient way to Hive Hotel, The bus station is also located around train station. There are also other ways to the hotel by train or driving, parking spaces are also convenient around the hotel. The famous LUODONG Night Market is just within walking distance.

Modern atmosphere with Mac in lobby and mi weight scale in room.Free local snake and bean milk in room. Designed toothbrush and powerful hair dryer. Good bed and pillows. Quiet and Blackout curtain. Tasty breakfast set. 超棒的平價時尚文旅，極富設計感、造型前衛的牙刷、質感很好的肥皂，房內有小米體重計、大廳有公用蘋果電腦。隔音很好，窗簾非常遮光。超強力吹風機。床很厚實，應該是雙層獨立筒，枕頭兩顆都很厚很軟（但個人較偏愛薄、矮枕）。大小毛巾都香香的。化妝棉、保險櫃，厚實的拋棄式拖鞋。房內免費羅東在地點心牛舌餅及羅東農會豆奶米漿。早餐是非常有質感的套餐，像是來到brunch cafe。平日入住2000多而已。 地點正對羅東火車站前站走路一分鐘。後站搭台灣好行客運到親水公園、傳藝中心、運動公園都非常方便。

Other than location, room needs a lot of improvement
Reviewed By synkronizeLocation is great. Just across the street is Luodong market Rooms need a lot of improvement. I booked it with the impression based on the upgraded pictures. We booked 3 rooms and were allocated on 3rd and 4th floor. The rooms were old and while spacious, smelled really musty. It’s the smell of old / leftover cigarette smell and housekeeping used air freshener to freshen up the room. Also it’s an old building. Room keys are actual keys which you insert into the knob. Our room door had difficulty locking and opening, another door knob was halfway dangling out. To have housekeeping you need to leave your key at the reception and there’s also no in room safe. No laundry facility on site but if you walk on the same street of the hotel (to the left) to the end of the street - around 7 mins - there’s a 24h coin laundry facility. There’s someone who will even fold your clothes and put your clothes in washer too

Our driver was able to drop us off right in front of building - Light free breakfast (Lu rou fan, rice porridge with condiments, sliced bread and baguettes to toast with jam peanut butter choc spread, 2 types of fruits, hot coffee and tea, milk tea, honey kumquat tea) - from 730am to 930 am last call - 7-11, cinema, Daiso on lower floors. Take lift from grd floor to 5th flr hotel lobby. Then take adjacent lift to reach rooms on 6-8th flrs - Basic play area for kids nx to lobby, with laundry corner; as well as a free postcards and stamps corner - Toilet and bathtub clean; room walls are chipped and kettle is loose. Noise insulation not very good. Disposable slippers available Note: - Signage (in Chinese) in room asking not to use kettle and hairdryer at the same time

Reviewed By JujuboThe owners made us feel so welcome from the time we arrived to the time checked out. Home cooked breakfast daily with different ingredients and style of cooking. It was so sumptuous everyday that we couldn't eat anymore meals through the day till dinner. Rooms were so clean and comfortable. I will definitely go back when I visit Yilan again.

Luodong tranfer hub biz hotel
Reviewed By Ed1982_10Location: 3-5 min walk from Luodong train and bus terminal. Ideal for catching the 7am bus to Lishan and Wuling farm. Rooms: clean, old decor, and with damp carpet smell. However, the smell dissipates once you turn on the new Daikin aircon. The mattresses are rock hard, as usual in older Taiwan hotels. The hotel grounds are cleaned properly, and no smoke smell anywhere. Drinking water machine is on the ground floor. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Reviewed By alicia1242地點離火車站很近，民宿非常乾淨，床也很舒服，推薦一定要訂浴缸房，在戶外泡澡兼看夜景很放鬆，小瑜姊與她的先生都很好客，民宿內有隻專門迎接旅客的法鬥歐練非常親人，超可愛，來宜蘭一定要來這裡住宿！ The location is close to the train station. The whole environment is quiet and clean. The bed is super comfy. Highly suggest travelers book a room with a bathtub. It's so relaxing to enjoy the night view while taking a hot bath outdoors. The host and hostess are hospitable, and you definitely need to meet their precious - a French bulldog named O-Lien. Super cute but a bit lazy. lol Overall, it was a great experience. Highly recommend to stay here if you visit Yilan!
