Reviewed By 12_gnesbWe stayed in an apartment which is a little bit old fashioned, but very clean and comfortable, big advantage that has enough cupboard shelves for the clothes and everything. View is simple beautiful Sea is incredibly clear. As it's a rocky beach mainly with deep water it's mainly recommended for those who could swim. Staff are very friendly, food choice is very good. You could go to Omis by car (appr 6-7 km) or by bus. Split or Makarska also not so far. As it's located outside the city ideal for people who do not like the the crowded cities.

Reviewed By JonH689Brand new hotel in very good condition. The location is on the beach literally. Brilliant views from the rooms. Staff are lovely and helpful. There is free parking which is great but the steep hill down to the hotel is awkward to navigate at night time. Overall very good

Reviewed By ari260391Wir wurden freundlich empfangen. Nettes Personal man konnte sich gut aus englisch verständigen. Zimmer modern und sehr sauber. Toller Ausblick zum Meer. Ruhige Gegend das hat uns besonders gefallen. Zum Strand waren es ca. 3 min Fußweg der Strand traumhaft. Das Essen war gut.

A really nice place!
Reviewed By Johan-LundinMe and my family stayed here for a week in september and it is a nice base for the area. Majda herself was a friendly hostes but if my wife wasnt with us the comunications might have been a problem since Majda didnt spoke english. The beds in room 4 was very short and if you are over 180 cm your feet will hang over the edge. Otherwise the apartment was great and we enjoyed the week here.

Our house is an apartment house consisting of 4 apartments and an en-suite bedroom. It is newly build and has all the modern utilities to give you the home away from home felling. We also have a BBQ area behind the house with board games. There is a children's play area.

Reviewed By juliebI7500FSStayed here for a week with my husband. The owners Michael and Milana are very friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble. The apartment was spotless and had everything in it you need from a toaster to a coffee Machine. If you needed anything Michael would go out of his way to accommodate. The nearest shop and restaurants ( just a couple) are a 15 minute walk away. The nearest large town is Omis which is about 10 minutes by car. Michael does offer a taxi service if he is available which we used a few times but you might want to consider hiring your own car. Omis and Split (45 minutes by car) are beautiful and definitely worth a visit. We would definitely recommend these apartments

Great location, but you didn't mention the BEACHFRONT
Reviewed By Graham S... I believe our visit hit this family run apartments at a time there was a hiccup. No guide of features in the room & as this place is well on its own ( nowhere near Omis ) we were happy enough to swim & sit by their terrific pool. Dinner was home cooked & large helpings. Dessert, wine & a relax in the twilight looking over the coastline. Next morning we opted to head over the roadway on top of the tunnel & head down towards the water.. there's got to be some sort of beach here somewhere!! . THE BEACH & COVES ARE THE SPARKLING GEM AT "LARA". They are Magnificent, so don't keep them a secret. So note ... make sure it is the FIRST thing you tell every visitor.

Cancelled our reservation and refused to reimburse us
Reviewed By Sanja PWe requested a late check-in as a condition to rent this villa, which Villa Marina could not accommodate. Villa Marina cancelled our reservation only few hours before we had to check in without leaving us any solution and refusing to reimburse us. We are still trying to obtain our reimbursement weeks later without success. Don't trust this accommodation!
