Reviewed By tchout02Wonderful apartment just above The old city of Senj. Maria could not have been more welcoming. Modern third floor apartment. Full kitchen and nice bathroom. Spotless. Off-street parking. 10 minute walk to the waterfront.

Reviewed By 541bencelNice surroundings, friendly, flexible staff, new rooms, what was totally comfortable. Breakfast is fresh and rich compared to other continental breakfasts. Plitvice is so close. Staff recommended a nice route. Would visit again. We suggest!

The private accommodation Grand Lakes Rooms is located in the place only 3,5 kilometers from the entrance number 2 into the National Park Plitvice Lakes. The object is at the big distance from the main roads and it's surrounded with green surfaces and National Park which turns it into an small oasis of peace. The Exterior of the Grand Lakes Rooms is built in traditional style, while the interior is built in modern style. The rooms are furnished with high quality materials and are exceptionally comfortable. Due to the lack of comfortable rooms in the area around the National Park we strived to meet the desires of with the kind of object. Also, the staff of the private accommodation "Grand Lakes Rooms" with their work and dedication wants to make the staying of our guests as pleasant as possible. The bus stop "Mukinje" is only 1,5 kilometers away from our object, the sky resort 1,7 kilometers, and the store at about 2 kilometers and it's located in the place called Mukinje.
Lovely - but needs some improvements
Reviewed By AdventurecurlsWe got there quite early, our room wasn’t finished yet. We were given the option to stay at the Grand Lakes Rooms instead which we did. Our room looked pretty new and spacious. Contained an air con too which was great to cool our room down. Our room faced in the direction of the country road but it was still alright at night. Breakfast took place at our hotel so it was easy to get up and dine there. Fast variety of food to choose from, which was great. The toaster is working too slow when plenty of people want to use it. There was an option to have dinner at this hotel too. We dined in twice. Dinner comes in a three course meal with soup, main course and dessert. The soup needs more spices I personally found. The meat of the main dish (čevapčiči) wasn’t cooked well done, it was still pretty pink. I’m not sure if that’s the fault but my tummy isn’t well off after I’ve eaten it. Anyway the deer dish was great. Some recommendations to improve the service at the hotel: - holders for hand towels - shower rug - a menu (for dinner to hand out) - different coffee machine (the coffee was not enjoyable) - payment by card - lights outside in the garden too bright at night We really enjoyed our stay. The staff is friendly and always caring, just talk to them if you need something. Enjoy your stay.

Reviewed By Climber41130245578Our stay at Rustico house was amazing. The entire staff was very friendly & helpful. The rooms are spacious & clean. The garden is peaceful & beautiful. We also had a few meals at their Restaurant - loved it. Highly recommeded. We are for sure coming back.

Reviewed By Miroslav MIt was a perfect NY experience! House location is perfect to avoid traffic and to have a pretty intimate surrounding. Rooms are clean and spaceous, tidy and equipped. But the center of all activities is ground floor room with buffet breakfast and community place. Big TV and enough space. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Good parking space and easy to find location We grilled there also so bring your favorite grill food there definately!

The landlady gave us a warm welcome and we were pleasently surprised by the fact that she also offers dinner so we didnot have to go out anymore. The room was clean as can be and offered everything one needs. Dinner was great with fresh fish from their own surroundings. Breakfast offered a small buffet but with everything one can wish for. One thing must really be said: This lovey lady does everything on her own. The rooms, breakfast, dinner, the lot, amazing. Here is a big thank you very much to you dear lady for you made us feel at home! Very rude host and no amenities
Reviewed By David SThe absolute worst experience with hospitality in Croatia. There are plenty of other places to stay where you will be treated decently. I was practically kicked out at 10:01, so 1 minute after check out, why are the guests were still allowed to be there. I had already vacated my room and I was finishing my coffee in the kitchen. All this because I asked about breakfast options and they didn't have any.

Reviewed By I1072LAlaurasHouse Pox is an excellent choice. Rosa welcomed us in the doorstep and was super friendly. She was very nice and helpful throughout our whole stay. The house is situated in a pretty valley. The rooms are spacious with cute balconies and also very clean, the entire place is very cosy. Breakfast is included and filling with cereals, sandwitches, cheese, yoghurts, egg, jams and beverages. Plitvice National Park entrance2 is just 4 minutes drive and Slunj is also just 30 mins. We loved every minute here.

Friendly vibes, great hospitality
Reviewed By Teagan TRun by a family who's super friendly and hospitable. We had an amazing dinner the night we got there- huge portions! They gave us great pointers on the best route to see the national park, which was great. Very close proximity to Plitvice too. I highly recommend staying here!
