Reviewed By Sherpa04186231077The hotel is situated in a very convenient place . It is very close to the cabinets , which take you up to Verbier/ Médran . It only takes less than 5 minutes on foot. In addition , there is super market and a pharmacy just beside the hotel . The staff is exceptionally kind , friendly and always prompt to help. The hotel is clean and warm . There is also a restaurant , situated in the hotel , which serves delicious food as well . On the other hand there is an option if you stay at the hotel to take half board . It is money for value . I and my family strongly recommend the place for staying and eating !

Perfect location for skiing
Reviewed By esidrsHotel is located in perfect location for skiing and especially if traveling to Verbier by train. Train station and cable car is right outside (same building). Cable car goes direct up to the mountain with no need to get off at Verbier. There also is a ski shop for rentals in the same building. Stay in Le Chable is much cheaper than up in Verbier. Rooms are basic and small, but sufficient. There are some nearby restaurants. Breakfast was just enough. Rooms can be a bit noisy form cable car and from passing traffic. Perfect for a budget stay and good location.

The Hotel A Larze is a new small family hotel. It have been built in 2015 and is mostly constructed from the wood of the larch from which it gets its name. Designed by the region's craftspeople the hotel is in a cosy and contemporary mixed with a traditional style. The hotel is a good opportunity to connect in a relaxed environment and to experience the beautiful swiss mountains. The hotel is well situated, 5 min walk to the lift which brings you to the famous ski resort Verbier 4 vallées.

They can become a role model for many other hotels who simply fail to show their passion for what they are doing. Lovely breakfast, very clean and tidy hotel, very close to main gondola to Verbier. The ownly downside: our room was a bit dark (we knew we won’t have a room with a view, but there are differences between this room type, not a big issue if you spend majority of time outside. And there is a lovely garden that offers seats where one can relax).

Mini Ski Break
Reviewed By NJxx2015My husband and I booked a short ski break in Verbier and stayed just outside the main town in Les Chable at La Ruinette Apartments. The room was great, spacious yet cosy with amazing views. There was a nice living and kitchen area with an open plan bedroom. There is also a nice restaurant downstairs if you do not want to go all the way up to verbier town. Very close to the station and ski lift/cable car around about a 4 minute walk. We met our host Guy who was great and was able to message him at any time when I had a few questions. All round a great stay! Would definitely recommend!

L'Escale is a little and charming hotel, situated in Villette - Le Chable, five minutes by walk from the train station and the departure of the cable car to Verbier. By now, is composed by 7 rooms, comfortable and cheap.Toilets and shower are on the floor, but the rooms contain a washbasin inside. The breakfast is included and is served at the café-restaurant of the groud floor. Don't forget to taste our home-made jam!The café-restaurant has recently been renovated and has all the conforts (access for people with handicap, wifi, tv, iPads..). Here the cook Charles-Henri Zuchuat offers you a wide selection of dishes: from the locals Fondue, Raclette and Assiette Valaisanne, passing by the home-made pasta, meat (veal of Hérens's race) and fish (bass fillet of the Lötschberg). Our selection of wine offers the best of Wallis. For your pleasure, taste our artisanal ice-creams and home-made cakes and sweets (mousse au chocolat, chestnut parfait).
Great Little Hotel
Reviewed By skychaserCalgaryWe stayed here for one night while hiking the Haute Route. The rooms were nicely decorated and comfortable as were the beds. Bathrooms were shared and down the hall and were kept spotlessly clean. Each room had a sink along with towels so one could wash up in the room. We had dinner and breakfast here and both meals were very good. We actually spoke with the chef and his kitchen helpers after the meal … they were preparing our lunches for the next day. One of the items in our lunch was a small homemade fruit pie! Delicious!

L'hôtel se trouve à seulement 250 mètres du centre du village. Le téléphérique de Medran et la gare ferroviaire et routière du Châble sont à 400 m, à 5 minutes à pied. Un parking public est disponible à 150 m. Verbier peut être atteint en 10 minutes de route pour accéder à la station de ski des 4 vallées et offre une variété d'activités la plupart des soirs après le ski. Super pour les enfants, excellent pour les adolescents et aussi très populaire pour les personnes âgées.

Not my choice for future stays - cost vs quality is poor
Reviewed By anncG5989XLWe booked 2 rooms for a weekend stay in October 2021. The rooms are in the basement and were cold as the electric heaters do not work well and created bad smell when turned on. There is only 1 small batheroon on the ground floor to share among 3 rooms (max guest up to 6 persons) - so not ideal. The breakfast is very basic and way below usual Swiss standard with toast and tea /coffee on offer. Overall disappointing and did not meet our expectations - given the cost of the rooms per night.

Spotless and Fantastic place to stay
Reviewed By kayteejWhat a find and exactly what we needed for a 3 day skiing holiday in Verbier. Located just a brief 5minute walk from the Le Châble-Verbier gondola, the B&B has its own external access, room was perfect for two people. Spotless and recently renovated. Room was spruced every day and the owners are so lovely. Our room had a balcony, en-suite and TV and was very warm. The gondola up to Verbier runs from around 8 until around 7.30pm, if you miss the last gondola back to Le Chable you can take the free bus (with your ski pass) back to the town (catch this from the post office). Would really recommend this place! Thank you :)

Great place to stay
Reviewed By FranostWe stayed at La Chamade for 7 nights over the winter break when on a ski vacation with our 3 teenage+ children. It is a typical Swiss Chalet where the top floor is rented out and has 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and central sitting area. This was perfect for us since we like the opportunity to both go out to dinner or stay in and fix something ourselves. The owners are very nice, extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. This made for good and interesting conversations on many occasions. It is a short drive to the ski lifts in Le Chable where parking is free. A car is needed during the stay since restaurants and stores are a a bit of a hike away.
