Delightful hotel
Reviewed By Greebo1Third visit to this hotel, and hope to go back again. At the back of the hotel is a beautiful garden, with well tended flowers and also several water features. Our room gave directly on to the garden, and we had our own small terrace. The staff were helpful and friendly.

AN IDEAL DESTINATION TO INDULGE YOURSELF. The purity of the six mineral and medicinal springs, the quality of its thermal treatments and its location in the idyllic landscapes of the Natural Park of Sierra Nevada (Unesco Biosphere Reserve) and the Alpujarra, south of Granada, make our Spa and 4-star hotel a unique destination to relax, get healthy and become revitalized.The hotel building contrasts with the traditional Spa facility, built almost 100 years ago, and rehabilitates the former facilities previously devoted to bottling Lanjaron water, within a modular structure for accommodation resulting in a singular aesthetic contrast between old and new. The restaurant certified organic, offers a healthy cuisine prepared with local and organic products and propose diet programmes and local recipes. The Alpujarra flavour: traditional and healthy.
Overall, an enjoyable time. Disappointments (noted in the review). However, staff were polite, friendly and efficient.
Reviewed By Nick V· Breakfast was fine in content and it was provided hot (as applicable). The dining room is "basic" ; (a bit of a "canteen" atmosphere) with tables in close proximity. Unfortunately for us, the room was very busy as the Hotel had a significant "pension" - "O.A.P." habitation, and absolutely without any criticism of the other residents, the Hotel staff were quite busy. Perhaps we encountered "one of those week's" ? However, the Hotel staff carried out their work efficiently and in good humour. · A long walk between the Reception and our room. The Hotel layout is a bit "dis-jointed", and initially a map would be useful. The "Spa" is not a normal relaxation, as everybody has a sequence to [strictly] follow to use each facility, which is somewhat haphazardly organised. Something in the waters leaves a bright yellow stain (to bathing clothing, hair colour and even the bathroom towels) which is not nice.

The hotel is a modest but very comfortable hotel with lovely staff, a good restaurant and central location. I arrived after a challenging drive and went immediately to the restaurant for a much needed lunch - which exceeded expectations. My room was a generous size, the bed and chairs supremely comfortable ... an excellent shower and a welcome little balcony. Fantastic.

Excellent option in lovely Lanjaron
Reviewed By vagebondThis hotel offers big rooms with everything you need for a comfortable stay: free secure parking, vistas over the hills, central location, a balcony, television, aircon, elevator, private bathrooms, confirm beds and a fridge. All very clean. On top of that they clean the room daily. Strong wifi signal. The owners of the hotel are very friendly and make sure your stay is a comfortable one. They often asked if all was fine and are continuously busy to maintain the place. They seem genuinely interested in what you did that day and have recommendations ready. It is true that it is a bit outdated, but all is in very good shape, so I cannot worry too much that the seat is not the newest model. We came for 1 night and stayed 3. Highly recommended!

Reviewed By Viajera51If you like unusual, off the beaten path, and totally delightful places, this is for you! Perched on a mountain side above Lanjaron, surrounded by fruit and nut trees with spring water flowing through the property, it is both stunning and comfortable. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, a living area with a cozy fireplace and a pellet stove, and a very comfortable bedroom and bed. Open the bedroom window at night and you’ll fall asleep to the sound of water rushing by! Our hosts were super and our stay was incredibly relaxing. An added bonus, we drank copious amounts of fresh Lanjaron spring water everyday.

Centrally located in Lanjaron - a good start for trekking in the hills
Reviewed By SeMeriPolite personnel serving nicely also in the evening. Quiet rooms facing the forest but noisy ones facing the street. Simple breakfast with not much alternative. The personnel has only a limited knowledge of English. A bit expensive relative to the quality.

Reviewed By David Ton a visit to Granada I found this 2* hotel, as it was one the only hotels open for the time of year, but if you are planning a stay in the village later in the year it's well worth booking in advance

Traditional Spanish Hotel in a Wonderful Spot
Reviewed By Simon WThis has to be one of the nicest hotels that I've stayed in. Traditional Spanish styled with a relaxed feel about it. Check in was seamless even though a member of our group had forgotten their passport - the staff at the front desk were very helpful. There were three of us and we chose a family room with en suite. There was a balcony overlooking the gardens with views of the mountains. The room itself was clean and fairly basic with a small TV. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and everything worked. The hotel is right in the centre of Lanjaron which isn't a noisy town - windows open and the birds will wake you which suited me just fine. Lanjaron is a really nice town to visit for a few days.

Nice quiet place to kick back and relax

Party of 4 adults [2 couples], we booked for 2 nights at the last minute after moving out of the awful accommodation we’d booked in Granada – it was a breath of fresh air! Maria met us on arrival and was very welcoming, gave us a choice of 2 apartments – both looked very nice, but we chose Veleta. Very light and spacious, comfortable beds, reasonably well equipped kitchen. Shower cubicle is a bit on the small side, but pressure is good, no bath, and only one toilet, but we were fine with that. Small unfurnished terrace is lovely and sunny, and handy for drying clothes. Dining furniture consisted of a small table and fold up chairs, so could be used inside or alfresco, as we wished - not spacious, but fine for our needs. Wifi was a bit patchy. We were able to park the car about 20 metres away on the street, and it was a very pleasant ten minute walk to the main shopping area. Very quaint and pretty town, would recommend for a short break from the cities, or if you just want to kick back and relax for a few nice quiet days.

A nice little hotel with friendly staff
Reviewed By wilde_nickiThis hotel is located in a narrow, quiet street (no parking there but plenty of space on two public parking places not far (free). We enjoyed a gorgeous view on the mountains from our room and the tranquillity. Dogs are allowed but it costs 5.00 € per night. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful; reception is only staffed at certain times. The furniture and bathroom were a little dated, but the room was clean. The cleaning service is every second day.
