Reviewed By AmericanInParis2Super nice hotel! The room was clean, spacious, and modern, with a balcony and a lovely view of the mountains. The village is rather calm and hiking trails are close by (a few minutes drive). Copious and very tasty breakfast buffet (pastries, yogurt, bread, crêpes, and more)! Face masks required when walking through the hotel.

Reviewed By 90-RoosStayed here for one night with our dog. Lovely hotel with a balcony and great view! The rooms were very clean and breakfast was delicious. Also a very friendly staff and perfect place to travel to with your dog.

Great biker friendly hotel
Reviewed By john gVisited as a group of 11 motorcycle enthusiasts. Rooms were decent. Ate in the restaurant for both nights on a three course set menu. Very nice and very reasonably priced. It is situated on the main road to La bresse so you will hear some traffic noise, but not really an issue. Staff friendly. Everyone enjoyed their stay. Parking is directly outside at the side the hotel, and in front of their chalets.

Reviewed By Larry RIf you ever, no you must, visit the outstanding beauty of the Vosges, you will stay at Erick and Chloe's B&B and won't regret it! A warm welcome will embrace you and even their lovely 3 year old son Basil, will come and say hello. And you might get a chance to meet the most friendly and open Husky (dog) we ever encounted. Chloe will serve you a 5 star breakfast and tell you (all in perfect English) what to do, where to go an visit. Coming home from a most likely challenging sports day or still overwhelmed by the outstanding beautiful country side, Erick has prepared you a 5 star diner. Using all fresh and local ingredients. So don't make the mistake to go out for dinner!! The thing we do regret........is staying only for two days (3 nights)!

Reviewed By manneckerWe spend 2 nights there. The hotel is located in a very quiet place 3 Kms from La Bresse, 200 meters higher. Great free parking. The hotel is quite traditional , meaning do not expect modern or design look… but the welcome is very nice, staff is friendly… really great. The food at the restaurant is really great, tasty…prepared with local products, done " in house"… and very affordable price. A great plus for the deserts… fantastic. The " raclette" is very nice . The room is simple but clean and quiet. The price for the room is again very attractive. You can rent ski material, visit a " lama" mountain ….

Reviewed By jjhmhendriksWe stayed in hotel room number 1, it was spacious... the toilet was situated in a separate room from the bathroom, which I have never seen before in an hotel..food has a very reasonable price and the food was delicous. The wifi was weak tot mediocre but it was not an issue for us, we came for the countryside....and the surroundings were very beautiful. The pillow was a little soft for my liking...but the bed itself was very nice.. above there was very large nice wall painting. The owners were very friendly, if you would ask something they explained everything very detailed. The owners would come with the their own suggestions which they thought would be interesting for us, very kind owners and staff. We will surely visit again one day :)

Reviewed By Leiden1985Nice apartments in the middle of the Vosges area. Stayed here for a cycling weekend early May with 5 friends. Apartments are clean, but as you expect in France relatively small. 2 bath rooms with all necessary amenities. Can recommend this for a cycling weekend. You have to have a car to go out for dinner as there is not a lot close to the apartment.

Formulate apartment ' with possible kitchen area on request Opened all year long on the spot: sauna, hammam, relax room, balnéo, massage, fitness gym, table football, billiards, ping-pong, local with ski, garage by bicycle and\or motorcycle, Rent of room with caterer bye for now!!

It is stated ”pets allowed” here on Trip adviser, it is also positioned as ”pets allowed upon request” on booking.com, and all ”pets friendly” filters show this hotel in the first place. We made a reservation and informed the hotel about the cat. However, after getting booking confirmation and advanced payment, we received response that NO, cats are not allowed! Deeply disappointed! Please make sure the description of the hotel policy reflects the reality. I want to inform other pets owners to prevent such an unpleasant situations.

Reviewed By Glenys VThe pros: The hotel is vary basic but has everything you need. It was a 5 minute drive from La Bresse-Hohneck and it was near another ski resort where we mainly saw cross-country skiers. The weekend was a low-snow weekend with limited slopes open so we couldn't judge the ski-in-ski-out part. The hotel was near a forest with a walking trail and a lake. It was lovely to walk in nature. The room was spacious and clean. There was free parking on the premises. The hosts were friendly and we would return. Even though it wasn't the most comfortable of beds, it's fine for a weekend at that price, which was €45 per night then. We did have a TV, although some reviews stated there was none. We had one and it had all the usual French channels, which was perfect for us. The cons: The heat would turn off in the middle of the night, so the room would get a little cool. Then it would turn on again around 8 or so. I didn't mind so much that it got turned off, but it would have been better to have been turned on around 6am, so you don't wake up to a cold room. The bed was not very comfortable, but OK and on the small side. However, the price reflects this, so you get what you pay for. The wifi was also only on during certain hours and I don't understand why. In 2020, every hotel should have 24 wifi available, regardless of the price. Aside from these things, it is still fine for a weekend or so. We would return since in the end, we spent the entire day at the slopes and basically just slept there. So yes, I would recommend it if you just need a place near the slopes with no frills.

Average hotel but bad service
Reviewed By WDekeyserService/Inet(Wifi)/Telecom(mobile connection) not ok: felt like we were not welcome at arrival, room icecold and we had specifically to ask the reception to switch on the heating(central system managed at reception). No knife to cut the french bread, no forks on the table for breakfast, no towel to cut the bread so everybody was touching the bread and this with corona all over the world ... ? Internet not workingwell and after 2 min. idleness disabled automatically, etc... Dirty under the bed and clearly not cleaned. 1 window could not even be somberd(roller shutter broken).
