The staff are the best, treated me like a king, food outstanding, service fantastic. Rooms very clean and neat. I would like to thank all the staff, from security, Reception, cleaners, chefs and waiters, managers, everyone at Memling for making my stay unbelievable.

Reviewed By GeorgeT3458I spent 3 nights here on business. I found the hotel clean efficient and the service good. Which is quite an achievement in the chaos of Kinshasa. The restaurant and food was very good, expensive but good. I would stay there again if I go back to Kinshasa

Reviewed By Road28696268127This was my first visit to Kinshasa. I chose the Selton hotel via the internet. The room was clean and tidy. Very comfortable mattress. Gladys at reception and Patric the waiter were very professional and friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. The food was average. An older guy by the name of Blaise (waiter) was quite unfriendly. The wi-fi was not good at all.

Reviewed By Olaf BThe hotel is better than it was before. I was in a renovated room, the old part of the hotel closed for renovation. Stuff is well trained, firnedly and helpful. If traveling in Africa one has to know that every upscale normally turns into a discothek during the weekends. The positive outcome of the curfew was that this was now not the case. The negative issue was that anti CoVid measures were not at all followed up. This made for a rather uncomfortable stay. The only way to the rooms were 2 lifts, no stairs to avoid them, and there were always people without masks providing a perfect aerosol sodden environment. Such things need to be taken more seriously.

This small hotel is on a second and third floor of a shopping center, with security in the main external door, a reception person who really wants to help, in fact I got a taxi from the main street 100 meters from the hotel until the airport for $ 10, when the price for tourists is $ 40. There is free Wifi, although it is not very fast. The room is correct, with a / c, hot water, TV with channels in French and CNN, large bed and reasonably comfortable, hot water 24 hours although the room looks old and neglected, with loose wires, unpainted elements, etc. Price: $ 60 night. Quite a few restaurants nearby, fast food and good ones. Recommended for travelers, not for business.
