Reviewed By BhattiSherryExcellent hotel by Lake Kivu. Has a great outdoor sitting area served by the restaurant. Reasonably priced restaurant but with limited menu. Courteous staff, although service can be at an easy pace. The swimming pool is a wonderful place to lounge around. Actual artworks are displayed in the lobby/reception area with price tags and are available for sale.

Reviewed By Barend_DKHorrid to say the least. Light fittings falling from the roof, torn bed sheets and outdated. As I writing this I have my iPad and I'm watching a movie but can't hear it since they having a party right below me with music that is at levels that will blow your ear drums. This is one of the worst 5 hotels I've ever stayed in.

Reviewed By EleonoreM38Des chambres propres, avec salle de bains et eau froide (on peut vous apporter une bassine d'eau chaude sur demande), et un vrai lit. Wifi qui arrive parfois jusqu'aux chambres, quand l'électricité n'est pas coupée, et un petit déjeuner copieux. Un des meilleurs rapport qualité-prix de Goma, et n'hésitez pas à négocier le prix de la chambre.

Reviewed By Shahram SSom hela Goma, lider Hotel Rusina av ständigt återkommande strömavbrott som ingen verkar bry sig längre...vilket betyder, inget varmvatten, en tom minibar på rum eftersom, såsom sagts ovan, är den elektriska strömförsörjningen mycket oregelbunden . Detta är ett gammalt hotell och det visar sig överallt: i receptionen, på rum och på restaurang. Dock för dem som älskar det "pittoreska", kommer de att bli glada! Rusina Hotel som hette Riff för ett halvt sekel sen, ligger nämligen i centrum där Goma visar upp all sin smuts, dess öronbedövande ljud från flera barer runtomkring och dånande elaggregat utan katalysatorer, valutaväxlare som säljer den kongolesiska franc som är inte ens värd papperet den är tryckt på, motor taxi på jakt efter kunder, gatubarn, prostituerade, gatuförsäljare ... På den positiva sidan, finns det tre eller fyra bankomat alldeles i närheten där man kan ta ut dollar eller kongolesisk franc, och sedan ligger den största advokatbyrån i Goma bara meter från hotellet. Det är alltid bra att veta ...

A fading beauty set in a beautiful landscape
Reviewed By Africhika_I stayed here for 3 days for a professional trip. The air conditioner in my room was not working. (They came to fix it but it stopped after a few hours.) The phone in my room stopped working. The WiFi in the entire hotel is terribly slow and unstable. Let's just say it doesn't work. The TV channels in the room are not working. The food is not very good. However, the hotel gardens and grounds are very beautiful with tropical flowers and luscious trees. The architecture of the hotel is very charming. The hotel security is OK. Of course, the view of Lake Kivu is magnificent!! My room actually has the best view :) Sitting by the lake at sunrise and sunset is glorious. But, after 3 days, I changed to a different hotel because so many things here are not working. It's definitely fading from its former glory.

Nice hotel, but events take priority over guests.
Reviewed By EricaH1406Lovely setting for a hotel & wonderful staff. Rooms are average. Biggest problem is the number of evening events at the hotel - 2 in past 3 days. Incredibly loud music that goes on past 1am. Room was vibrating with the noise. Does not make for a pleasant experience.
