I cannot say enough good things about this Inn. Our stay here added to our week in Cape Cod so much, Cliff, Liam , Pat, and all of the staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and cared about. Very glad to help with travel advice and booking ferries, which really helped us plan our tour of the Cape. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Daily room service. Breakfast is included in the pool area, which is beautiful. Very clean pool and hot tub for the guest to use. Everyone I ran into there was so pleasant and happy. The location is terrific, you can walk to ferries, shopping, and fine dining. So welcoming. I was so lucky to have discovered this Inn, and I dream of going back. Also very good price for rooms. A really, really great vacation was had by all here!!!! The staff is so welcoming.

Customer Service Nightmare

Reviewed By sharondZ7271OC

I booked two rooms for four nights at this Inn and had to cancel my trip for medical and employment reasons. I canceled the rooms three weeks before my arrival date, but the hotel's policy was it had to be 30 days before arrival - based on the rate of the room. I did not know about this policy before I made my reservation. I booked through Expedia.com and they did not show me any information that the full charge would be forfeited after the cancellation period. So, I got burned - I was charged $2457.82 (the entire amount of the stay which never happened). I called and talked to the manager to no avail. I find it truly reprehensible when an establishment sets a policy that is impossible to keep. This practice is unethical and they are taking advantage because they had 3 weeks to re-book the room. Truly a "buyer beware" scenario.

Great solo stay for a few nights in Hyannis - highly recommend!

Reviewed By glencdawson

Due to a cancelled work trip, I found myself with a flight to Boston (from the UK) and car hire for a few days, which I decided to put to use. Boston was outrageously expensive (given the short notice of the trip), so I chose to explore Cape Cod and stumbled across the Cape Cod Harbor House Inn, based on some excellent reviews. The first point is that I found the property to be excellent value. As an impromptu, bonus holiday that I was paying for myself, I needed something affordable and this really was. Yes, I love the 4 -5* hotels that I found myself in on business trips, but this was in many ways as good. The location here was the next best thing - being so central to everything and more importantly not needing to use the car! Once I was parked up, everything in Hyannis was within a short walk (restaurants, main street, the ferries, the beaches, etc.) My actual room, was great, too.. Most importantly, I slept really well. OK, the décor was slightly dated, but everything was spotlessly clean and functional - including a full kitchenette (in case you wanted to avoid eating out). There were even plenty of USB sockets included in the light fittings, which these days are essential, especially when travelling from overseas. Finally, I want to thank Raj (the owner) for helping to make my stay so great. I hadn't spent any time researching what to do in the area, but that didn't matter, as Raj helped me with many recommendations and even booked my ferry trip for me. We spoke many times throughout my stay, which was nice, particularly as I was travelling alone. If I find myself in the area again, I would definitely stay here again!

Miserable stay

Reviewed By Mary D

We stayed there there October 2021 for 7 nights. Jennifer checked us in, her accent was to thick it was hard to understand her. Before we arrived the hotel sent us an email extolling all their amenities, Ha, we stayed at the Harborside Tower (part of the Hyannis Harbor Hotel) because the Hyannis Harbor Hotel was closed for the season. All the amenities we had were vending machines and a pay washer and dryer. We had no housekeeping service for the whole week. We had to ask for more garbage bags and towels. I lost money in the vending machine and was told that an outside company takes care of it and they couldn't do anything about it. Forget about the hotel being close to a ferry line. There are 2 ferry lines going from Cape Cod to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard and the hotel is across the street from the more expensive line. The hotel charged us $50 a day for room damages because there was no housekeeping. We were 2 friends in our 60s and after 2 days of no housekeeping I asked the manager and she said they don't have one now, they only clean the rooms after the guests leave. I said no one told us, she said she was sorry. My advice: STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE1

Terrible experience - lack of good management - dog barking in a pet free facility and no action done

Reviewed By ireinyg

This is our second time here at the hotel . First time last year seems that management was better from hotel condition , rooms and everything . This time even though the front desk was nice but when we called for noise complaint due to a dog barking non stop where pets are not allowed on facility . Security came up late . Guest did not open the room , they heard barking and nothing was done . Their kids were banging on the wall and screaming which we said nothing about because we understand they are kids but an angry barking dog till extremely late at night and woke up to the dog barking as well . Still no hotel action is despicable . We are eligible for suite upgrade for our status and we were not granted it . We did not make a big deal and accepted what was provided even though suites were available but the fact that it was restless night with no hotel action is beyond real . In addition to that I use a cane and go up and down stairs with difficulty when they gave us the room even when they can see that I can’t walk well , they gave us a room where we have to take elevator then stairs . Housekeeping felt bad and said have them change it but I let it go . All this we let go and when we put a complaint for noise nothing was done . Very bad experience this time . I hope their management read this

Great spot - great staff

I joined my sister for dinner who was there on an anniversary visit for a weekend stay. I was staying at a competitor near by( which was pleasant too) but let me tell you, I was so blown away with the initiative taken by the Front desk staff( Herman )and restaurant server (Pita-gaye) who went above and beyond to make my sister's dining experience a special one to remember..when they realized she didn't feel like heading off property for dinner as planned ..they went out of the norm and decorated a table in the lounge area with rose petals and candies . This was a special touch. Pita Gaye was very courteous , friendly, accommodating especially for not being a veteran server . She was very professional.. The chef was also attentive to dining needs. A truly great anniversary celebration ....this is what makes money worth spending on getaways...not only a nice place , but wonderful people!
