Just the break i needed

I like the old style art deco type buildings and the high ceilings. To have accommodation where you do not feel cramped and you have space and you are not paying any extra for it is lovely. Convenient to all of the shops and sights of the area and yet not noisy. We had the double bedroom apartment which also had the balcony which allowed us to chat to some of the locals.

Do not stay here

Reviewed By Lauramust

Looks nice on website and you’d think it would be a nice place to stay being in Williamstown and being on the water buuutttt no …you definitely don’t want to even take your shoes off inside as the carpet is visibly disgusting the couch could do with a clean. The bed at least is ok it’s clean, that’s if you even get to sleep with the noise to all hours of the night then when the noise finishes the people leaving are definitely not thinking about guests as they depart. Staff are nice. Just desperately needs a update but then its still going to have the noise.

Surpriseing

Reviewed By Danielle J

Went here on Friday for a casual business meeting but stayed to drink with the locals. Gorgeous little venue, outstanding service and facilities. I wished I'd gotten the name of the lovely lady behind the bar. Old fashioned service with a smile, she managed to keep the drinks up to everyone and continued to chat and smile all night. Stayed the night upstairs and was pleasantly surprised by the room. Spotlessly clean, bright and nicely decorated. Had an amazing sleep in a super comfy queen bed. Check in was easy and it's a leave your key in a box as you leave type check out. Really cant say enough about this little gem, just 15 minutes from the city and easily $100 cheaper than anywhere up town. Will be my go to now for any sleep overs I have in Melbourne. Well done people, keep up the good work.

We were booked into a room in the house but when we arrived we were advised that because they had a large booking we were put into a room in the back, we were disappointed also when I made the booking I was told we would have our own bathroom only to be told that none of the rooms have bathrooms. The carpets we filthy and the beds were very uncomfortable, my niece's bed squeaked very time she moved and in the hallway the tiles were broken and quite dangerous. We did receive a discount. Not enough parking space and too dangerous to park in the street.

Little comfy gem

After being let down by another pre booked accommodation in the area we had traveled to attend a function and were left short. From my initial phone call to Turan to check in it was fabulous. It’s was super clean and the bed was as comfy as the high end city hotels. I mean super comfy. We had drinks in the bar late night and the service was fabulous. If your looking in this area, you won’t be disappointed

"Comfortable BUT" !!!!!!!

Reviewed By Sue C

We were generally happy with the cleaniness and comfort of the unit. However being opposite a busy railway station and level crossing. Everytime a train passed it blew its loud whistle. The trains stopped going by around midnight and resumed at around 4am. The loud whiste was very disturbing. There was no view possible from the room which was very disappointing. Parking was very difficult as there was no designated parking space. It appeared that the general public could park there anytime day or night. We had to carry our large suitcases up a steep staircase to the room. Sadly we will not be returning to this accommodation.
