Reviewed By Dom21076Our stay was only one night, we made it quite late and left relatively early; we did not need the "expensive treatment"! The Eco Nuit Guerande did the job we expected it to. Clean room, excellent bedding and clean sheets, good shower, WiFi OK. You will need a car to get there as it is out of town. All in all, great value for the price charged.

Reviewed By 365mcThis hotel can be considered good enough for a short stay. There is a wheelchair accessible room and all the hotel in general is wheelchair accessible. The room was spacious. The air condition was making big noise so you had to turn it off in order to sleep. The staff does not speak English. The breakfast was really good and with big variety. The location is quite far from the city centre and is better to take the car especially at night where there is no one in the streets. During the day it might be a nice walk.

Our hôtel was completely renewed in 2014. Most of our rooms have a very nice sight on the middle-age walls of the town. We will be happy to receive you very simply and friendly. We can speak both german or english. In the rooms, there are little kitchens for your comfort. You can choose a single room, a double or a twin room, or if you travel with children, a familly room, until 5 persons. One of our rooms is available for disabled people. Free wifi in all rooms. Large livingroom for customers, to take breakfast or watch tv. Our hôtel is a non-smoking area.
Perfect location
Reviewed By Jan SBooked a family room which was well equipped, up to date and very clean and comfy. Great location just outside the city wall with own restaurant which is a treat as well. Even had our own terrace. Well behaved dog and 2 cata guarding the place. No problem for us, The kids loved them.

Reviewed By Petr Duda IJean-Claude and Annette, the owners of La Balade des Marais, welcome their guests with open arms. If you are interested in experiencing daily life in France, this is the place to go. The rooms are comfortable and Jean-Claude is happy to share his agricultural and culinary knowledge with you. Breakfast is shared with Jean-Claude and Annette and everything is either freshly prepared in the morning or home made, such as their delicious jams. With at least one day notice, Jean-Claude will prepare a gourmet meal for you. Unfortunately, we missed this opportunity, but we did get a recommendation for an excellent local restaurant. We also got some outstanding advice on where to head next. Many thanks to Jean-Claude and Annette.

A comfortable B&B in a pretty walled town.With parking
Reviewed By frigateWhen touring by car, it's important to have somewhere safe for the car at night, and it not often easy to find that in a small walled town. We found it at la Guerandiere, a magnificent former merchant's house right on the walls of Guerande, Our room was not huge but it was beautifully decorated, very clear and well supplied with tea/coffee and more. Breakfast was provided in the period conservatory overlooking the garden, and as it was actually raised up you could look into the street. It was close to the salt pans and the wonderful birdwatching area that is La Briere, so we counted ourselves very lucky to have found such a convenient and charming place to stay.

Rave music all night long, come here if you don't want to sleep!
Reviewed By daniels6112018Rave music played until 6 am, impossible to sleep. It was offsite, but we were told this happens several times a month, that the police take no action, and that the owners/managers would do nothing about it. Shame because it was a nice campsite. Also a rather unfriendly woman came around in the morning and counted all the cutlery, furnishings, etc. before we were allowed to leave! This didn't make us feel very comfortable/welcome.

Reviewed By Jean RStayed here revisiting Guerande after 50 years. Still a lovely place, a medieval walled town in perfect condition. Our hosts charming, the small but pretty bedroom quiet with bijou marine effects. Downstairs the Bistro offers a limited but local menu, excellent. Thanks very much, we will be back.

Reviewed By Aga PThis place is very nice and pretty. The owners are welcoming and make you feel good in their place. The rooms are big, new and clean (cleaned everyday). And the breakfasts were delicious! Everything is homemade and really good. I'd recommend this place to everyone.
