Really Disappointed
Reviewed By FarAway483657We are a senior couple that looked forward to relaxing and meeting others for 4 days at Seesaw. We were surprised when we learned there is no one to greet us and no staff at the INN. We were just lucky the head housekeeper let us in and showed us around. She was terrific while she was there, but she had to go to the cabins. For the 3 nights we were totally alone for two. One night 2 men stayed. They had multiple bottles of liquor. One passed out on a stool and the 2nd on the stairs. My husband has medical issues. There was no information as to what to do in an emergency. The TV is limited to only Netflix. The kitchen had just about everything you would need, and the Great Room was beautiful but when you are all alone it isn't fun. We split a steak dinner, 2 soups and no alcohol. The cost was $120.00. It was my husband's birthday which was shared but no treat after dinner. The handyman was terrific. He helped me try to skate for the 1st time in 50 yrs. It was expensive for not having any activity. We do not recommend unless you just want a room for 1 night between Stratton and Bromley.

Reviewed By MaureenH435This is a terrific place to stay. Our room had a very nice living room with a fireplace and a separate bedroom with a jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The deck looked out on a green belt and the breakfast room was very cozy.

In these times with staff shortages, very appropriate. Kitchen staff did a great job replenishing items and keeping the area clean. The public areas with the fireplace and outdoor area with the fire pit were great.

Reviewed By E3693IMjameswMy wife and I enjoyed three days at the Inn. It was a very comfortable and relaxing place to come back to between exploring hiking trails and history in the area. Great hospitality, great breakfast and a beautiful place. We would definitely recommend.

Good views and location, terrible mattress
Reviewed By emilysF2178WHI want to write about the beautiful views, the lovely grounds, and the friendly staff- but all I can think about is how horrible the beds were. They have updated so much of the furniture, but the mattress was like a crumbly college dorm mattress which left me with a sore back. It was really awful, and when I asked about transferring to a suite to see if it has a nicer bed they said the mattress was the same in every room. We did enjoy the location and the nice extras like the small golf course. If they upgrade the mattresses we would happily come back. The other downside was the restaurant where our $14 pizza looked like a kid sized grocery store frozen pizza. Definitely skip the restaurant for some of the nicer ones in town.
