Reviewed By majah911We stayed at tree house and although it was raining the whole stay, didn't regret for a minute. Tree house is cute, view from the window amazing. Two rooms, two bathrooms, little terrace beneath the house. Everyone was very friendly, nice. Food was great. Surrounding is very maintained and amazing. Would definitely come again just to chill and relax.

Great food, location and hosts

The food was fantastic, room was fantastic, great location - very easy to get to the Plitvice Lakes, and there is mountain biking and horse riding tours within walking distance - but most of all the hosts are very friendly, very generous, and very helpful, for example, as well as breakfast, we were provided with sandwiches and cake to pack for a picnic lunch at the lakes. It was probably the best we have ever stayed.

House Tina is situated in a small village Grabovac, near Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. House Tina is newly decorated and has 10 rooms categorized 3 stars. The location is a quiet one, the house has a spacious garden all around, with tables and benches for about thirty people, There is also enough space to park ten cars. To make your stay with us interesting from this year we offer horseback riding on a nearby farm. The server spoke German and English. There was a lot of food!!! It was fun to watch the food being prepared on the large grill.

Reviewed By Nati La basic place with a good price. the location is good - several minutes from plitvice national park. basic breakfast. clean room. reasonable price. we had an apartment. But: it does not accept credit card, which was a problem for us. my wife and i enjoyed our stay.

One of the friendliest B&B Stays Ever!
Reviewed By Mobile_MirandasHeading to Plitvice Lakes and need a place to stay? Look no further! We have stayed in a lot of B&B’ (with alot of lovely hosts), but Mara was a standout! It was raining lightly when we got there but she was keeping an eye out for us. She ran across the street with a big smile on her face to welcome us and promptly made us feel at home! Room was small but comfy - bed was one of the best in our 22 night trip...but Mara and her breakfast feasts were enough to make us book with her again if we are ever lucky enough to be in the area again! Worth the €8 a person (especially considering how affordable the room was) - so much delicious food that she made sure we packed up lunches to take with us! And it was all tasty - we have regretted not having our “breakfast fairy” for longer. She was also so happy we tried speaking Croatian and taught us a few new phrases. Overall lovely stay and she really made our visit that much more special! Do yourself a favor and stay here!

Average in boring Grabovac
Reviewed By Joey VThis apartment -hotel is average. Rooms are nothing special, wifi is not working at all, location not very good. Restaurants are a ten minute walk, a small shop is on the other side of the road. Grabovac itself is very, very boring. There is nothing to do and it has only 2 restaurants with bad food. Only go the this small town if you are heading to Plitvice. About the accommodation: you can get much better in Grabovac or the other small villages around.

We climbed up and down the hills through forests and fields. The horses look good and were in good shapes. We are experienced riders which the girls checked at the beginning on short galloping periods.

No Frills Lodging but large room
Reviewed By Jeff LIts proximity to the Plitvice is the reason our family of four stayed for one night. We purchased the (online) ticket to the Plitvice national park for 7am to 8 am entrance time slot (only available for that day). So the proximity was of the highest concern. It will take you about 10 min to drive to entrance 1, another 10 min to find parking and make your way to the entrance, and another 10 min in line to check yourselves in. Try to visit the park early, when it was 10 am it was getting crowded. If you are from the States, think of Guesthouse Sara as motor lodge along the highway. The hosts are wonderful and inviting. All the rooms are different, and we stayed in the rooms that accommodates four. It had two separate rooms with separate bathroom. There was one queen size bed and one futon for sleeping. Bed was comfortable enough, but sleeping on the futon was not so pleasant. Old futon simply had a bed sheet on it. There were two bathrooms. However, one of the bathroom toilet was loose and whenever you turn on the bathroom vent the smell of sewer seeped in. So use the other bathroom. There was little kitchenette with cooktop but it was next to the smelly bathroom so we didn’t use it. Shower was good. There is an AC but its over the entrance door way and it won’t reach both bedrooms. It is what it is and it is decent for the price you pay. If you are visiting the national park, don’t forget to visit charming town of Slunji and the Barac Caves. We paid 200 Kuna for the breakfast for 4.

Reviewed By stefaniaa13We had a big room with balcony and a huge bathroom. The hotel has pivate parking and pool (which is great to cool in after travelling or visiting Plitvice Lakes). The location is very convebient for visiting Plitvice Lakes (just 15 min by car ti the entrace 1 in the park) The mibus I would mention is that card ar not accepted for paying at the reception or restaurant (after a 6 hour trip we just wanted something to drink at the restaurant, but unfortunately we had no cash money so we were first invited to an ATM, which was very frustating considerring that we were accomodated in one of their rooms).
