Reviewed By nmckenna2022Nice base location to check out the Nashville area for a possible move. The Staff were all friendly and helpful when we had questions or required assistance. Since we were there for several day, we decided to stay in one of the king suites. It gave us an extra sitting room, larger bathroom and a small kitchenette. We were traveling with our dog & there was plenty grassy areas to walk him around the well lite grounds. We would stay there again, it the need arises.

Reviewed By mburto774992Value, cleanliness, location, and updated room makes this a great place to stay. During our 6 day road trip we stayed at different motels. This was by far the best chain we experienced. I would definitely stay at a Country Inn Snd Suited again.

We got off to a rocky start when the first we were assigned was not made up from the previous guest but they made it right and the rest of the stay was all you’d expect from a Hilton property. We were in a front facing room as close to I-65 noise as you can get but we’re able to sleep pretty well. If I may, I’d like to recommend replacing the two chairs at the front desk as their wear stands out in comparison to the rest of the building. Thanks for the hospitality.

Bed bugs and dirty rooms
Reviewed By RichardPerrottaWhat started as a pleasant long stay turned bad after several nights being awoken by itching during the night. Finally I couldn't take it, got up to inspect, and found a bed bug. I killed it and informed the front desk and was offered a room to move to, but as it was 6AM and I would have lots to pack because it was a long-stay, I said I'd start packing and wait to speak to the manager before changing rooms. Around 10AM I spoke to a manager who assured me that their staff are trained to spot signs of infestation and they would have a company to come perform an inspection on the room. They moved me from the infested room into a dirty room. The room they moved me to had (what I hope was) white frosting/sauce and food remnants all over the ottoman. They told me this was because the room "was cleaned quickly because YOU requested to move, so maybe the maid missed a spot" Should I feel like I'm asking for special treatment because my room had bed bugs? The maid was asked to clean the ottoman. She cleaned half of the ottoman and left some crusted sauce there to linger. Maybe she didn't see the other spots? Anyhow, is the staff that couldn't or wouldn't effectively clean an ottoman the same staff expertly trained to spot bed bug infestations? After waiting all day for the results from the inspection and only being updated of the results after inquiring about them that evening, the manager made no attempt to arrange for treatment of my belongings to ensure that I don't inadvertently bring any bugs home with me because according to the report the situation was not severe enough to warrant any further assistance. I was advised that I could use the on-site coin-operated laundry to wash my clothes, and if I want to leave I could get refunded for 2 nights. I'm not in a situation where it's easy for me to move, and it seems that in no way were damages involving several nights of disturbed sleep, missed work meetings, swollen itchy bites on my body, and worry about the potential of having all my luggage/clothes/backpack/laptop cases potentially infected ever considered. I expected quality from an international reputable chain hotel like the Marriott, but the experience is that of a 1-star motel that would have cost me half the price.

Reviewed By Austindward1974This is truly a top star hotel. No, it's not the Hilton, but it should be rated right up there with them. The rooms are super clean. The beds are comfortable. The shower is truly hot and high pressure water. The breakfast room is clean and the breakfast is good. Cereal and milk for the kids. Waffles, beverages and hot food for the adults. I'm 100% impressed. Just booked the hotel for 2 more dates. And will make sure I stay here when I'm in town. Thanks to all the staff for their hard work.

The Holiday Inn Express Goodlettsville is only 19 miles away from Nashville International Airport and 12 miles from downtown Nashville. Our hotel is in a convenient location for your family to experience a Titans game or concert at Nissan Stadium and a Predators game at Bridgestone arena. Local shopping can be found within two miles at the Rivergate Mall, or 14 miles at Opry Mills. Many companies call this area home, such as Tyson, Dollar General, Des Case, Associated Wholesale Grocers, and STR North America. Such companies are all within 10 miles of our hotel. All of our rooms are equipped with a 49 inch HD TV with expandable HD cable channels, as well as multi device charging stations at the desk and nightstands. The work desk has an ergonomic chair, along with a chaise lounge chair for comfort.

Sincerely, Vic Trivedi General Manager My review to IHG "One of the most popular news channels was locked on the the TV. I like to watch all news sources and do not need a hotel censoring what I see by locking certain channels. I found this issue when I first got to my room. I also had no shower get in my shower. I stopped by the front desk the following morning and gave them my room number, the channel number that was blocked, and told them about the shower gel. When i arrived back at my room later that afternoon, Nothing was done about any of the issues. I called the front desk and asked them if they walk me through unblocking the TV channel and was told I would receive a call back in a couple of minutes with instructions. That call never came and after asking twice, I was done." I also found that the staff at the desk in the morning had their faces so deep into their phones that they would not even lift their heads to acknowledge a person. I have stayed at this hotel every time I am in the area for business and have not experienced this low of a level of service. I have another stay coming up in a couple of week and that will determine if I choose to stay here again on future visits. Buy the lame response i received from the GM I am guessing that nothing will change.

Reviewed By JeffhsapChoice hotels seem to get worse. Years ago they seem to be solid average hotels. Recently all Choice brands are below average now. This location fits that. The lobby has been recently remodeled, the hallway carpet is in need of replacing yesterday. The couch in our room I would not dare sit on, the tub was a jet tub of some type, beds were fine. Had we driven up and seen the outside this hotel would have been a hard pass. Little things mean a lot. Sidewalks cracked and discolored are a red flag. The staff was very nice, there are just too many obstacles physically to overcome.

Terrible experience

First the worst part was the restroom door almost fell into me ( they are sliding doors) so be careful. After constant complain the staff didn’t take it seriously and later somehow I managed to fix it. Wanted to leave the hotel right then but the front desk lady said I can’t check out or get a money back as it’s late & need to talk to manager. They didn’t even change the room. Whole night I didn’t go to the restroom as I was scared of the door again falling on me or me getting stuck inside the restroom! Morning the experience was terrible again, the toilet water spilled and the water over flowed & I had to take a bath with that dirty floor . After that the soap dispensers were not working but after constant complain the management denied the fact the dispensers were not working & were utterly rude. I asked for a refund but they we’re utterly rude & not welcoming. Terrible experience after paying 150 bucks.

Reviewed By Maryliz1118We stayed one night while traveling over New Year's weekend. We were very happy with the renovated clean ground floor room. The bed was very comfortable. There was a microwave & fridge, & all the little extras to make for a pleasant stay. Front desk was very nice & friendly. We enjoyed a very peaceful & restful stay between 2 days of driving.

Ok, maybe for 1 night in the Summer
Reviewed By Stephen RYou get what you pay for. Had to wait almost 10 minutes for someone to come check me in. The buzzer to get someone wasn't noticeable until she got there & I waited for her to get me checked in. The shower leaked constantly as well as the sink. After only 3 showers, tub wouldn't drain. No iron or ironing board. Bed was comfortable however none of the 4 pillows were. The main thing that didn't make me happy was the heat/ac unit had a mind of it's own. It was kind of cold here in November & I needed heat. Once I finally figured how to choose the heat, I had to wake up all 3 mornings between 3:30 & 4:30 because I was freezing. Either the AC automatically kicked on, or the heat switched automatically back to AC! Ridiculous. I wouldn't stay here again.
