Reviewed By msterrim8Comfortable stay love that they allow dogs( I didn't have my dog with me but noticed other guest with their fur babies). I didn't experience breakfast so I cannot comment on the service. The bed was very comfortable and room was clean. The only thing they need to do is change the carpet in rooms and hallways. They have a comfortable patio in back you can relax at. There is Loves gas station and Waffle House restaurant you can walk to across the street no need to drive quick walk unless you have kids then I would drive due to crossing the street. Safety first! Overall I'll stay again I'f in the area

Lower end motels often have issues like smoke smell of old, or even current smoking rooms and in those, I simply cannot sleep. (Not judging smokers; I used to be one and exes can be awful snobs. I wish y’all good health and long lives. But I am now extra sensitive.) The lady at the desk (so sorry I forgot your name) was lovely and when I mentioned the prevalence of smoke she kindly moved us farther away. The room was sparse, but clean and they are smart to have yanked out the carpets. Flooring is much better for places accepting pets. Nice bathroom, comfy beds, decent A/C. On this last trip we stayed in 4 Red Roofs. Only two were acceptable, and this one was very the best of them. If Hilton is a 5, given the service, this one earned a 3 where the others were only 2 and 1.

Reviewed By tassie172003Would not recommend to my dog to stay here. The roaches were everywhere when we opened the room. This place needs to be shut down. When I went back to get my money back and told them about the roaches they acted like it was no big deal. I rate this place a negative 1 million.

Worst decision

I've been thinking of staying here for years, having grown up in the area then moving away. Hearing that it had been refurbished. Huge Mistake....should've stayed at my regular place. First, there is no one to check you in or at any time during my stay. The connected Restaurant/Bar service is subpar and overpriced. And nothing for hotel guest. Upon arrival, My registration documents, along with the other check ins for the day, had our registration documents and keys layed out the counter, of the open hotel lobby, with ALL OF OUR PERSONAL information available to anyone. Also noted, we're the after hours code to the door locks to the hotel. No designated entrance to the hotel or parking (if you go out and come back during bar/restaurant hours), you'll need to park a block or so away. No room amenities ( blowdryer, iron, ironing board), dust on furniture, curtains haven't been cleaned in forever and the lil piece of carpet in the elevator hasn't seen a vacuum or carpet cleaner in a very long time. Paint is pealing, large gauges in the room walls and creavices in the wood flooring. Small TV in adjacent room, towhich you have to get up and walk over to read the TV guide listing, ceiling fans haven't been cleaned in a while. No contact information or numbers to contact for cancelation or concerns. Second night, I had to put the mini fridge up against by the door due some commotion going on down the hallway. I could go on, but it's futile, because based on what I've seen and heard, management could care less or do anything to make it right. * one note, the cleaning lady, I saw, was very kind, but realistically she was in no position to do anything.

Reviewed By 63nealbVery clean and nice room. The staff was awesome. I travel on business and stay in hotels a lot. I always travel with sanitizing wipes , Lysol and a “CSI” light. I really didn’t need the wipes on this trip. This is one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in. Great job!
