Located right accross the road from beautifull Thomas Jack Park and only 2 minutes walk to Dalby's central shopping district, the Dalby Homestead is the ideal place to base for you to visit the Bunya Mountains, historic Jimbour House, Lake Broadwater or local wineries.

Reviewed By OzjohnBrisbaneThe room and bathroom was clean, the air-conditioning and television worked well, the bed was comfortable and the complimentary continental breakfast for those who book direct was a welcome innovation. Under cover car parking is also provided - something that is becoming essential as the climate changes. In a town where motel prices are inflated by the presence of coal seam gas mining I thought $135 and $145 a night was reasonable, especially when breakfast was included. Very friendly service from Doreen, the manager and Mary, the owner. In fact Mary provided me with transport to the Words out West function at Dalby. The only slightly negative feedback was the the motel failed the "can you fit the electric jug under the tap ?" test (but there was a rain water tap which could be used - a nice rural touch) and there was no dedicated work desk. The web site also needs updating to reflect the provision of meals at the property.

This is a really lovely smaller boutique motel located in the centre of Dalby away from the noisy highway; it offers well-equipped clean, comfortable rooms and super-friendly service with superb, fresh home cooking. It also offers tours and experiences through Australian Country Tours, including weekend getaways featuring dinner in a farm paddock, and longer extensive tours of this fantastic & varied rural region only 2 1/2 hours ex Brisbane. All Covid precautions are being taken as per Government requirements.

Five phone calls later I finally stumbled across a friendly motel which welcomed me to stay the night, despite my late arrival, and the fact I had to find a place to safely park a large truck off street as well. At this point I was exhausted and willing to accept literally anything with a bed and a shower. First impression (to my tired brain) was a super helpful manager who understood my situation and got me checked in very quickly. The room was spectacular! All the little extras were there. I certainly did not expect such an amazing room for the price. Right down to a coffee machine with pods. I had an amazing rest in this quiet charming motel and managed to be thoroughly recharged and ready to continue my journey. Brilliant location, clean, super quiet, amenities plus and very friendly hosts. Thank you Dalby Country Pathfinder Motor Inn - highly recommend!

Reviewed By kitteeb2019The room i have is very clean, tidy and it looks like house keeping come in and give the room a quick touch up when you're out and about (Not all motels do that). Close to town and food places. A walk along the river maybe? When its not raining. Undercover car park. Quiet considering its next to the main road to Toowoomba. Management are both nice, friendly and helpful. Affordable. Yes I'd definitely stay here again.

Reviewed By Russell Con the 20th April 2022 we stayed at the Dalby Tourist Park. we had a cabin just on the right as you come into the park. we just loved it. it was so clean and the bed is the best bed we have ever slept in. in fact better then our own bed. we onlu stayed a night as it was our first day our our road trip. we just went up the road a bit to the reasturant and pub. had a great meal and great value. The Tourist park is one of the best we have stayed in. we have been there 4 years ago when we had our caravan. we really reccommend this park. its close to everything and off the main highway which is a bonus. loved our stay and will be back.

Reviewed By B7066JIjennygThree lady friends stayed at the adjoining house for 2 nights. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioned rooms big, the water pressure in the shower was great. The kitchen was well appointed with an adjoining laundry and second toilet close by. Walking distance to Leagues Club and takeaway bites. I highly recommend this motel for basic home comforts where everything has been thought of and the cleanliness was up to scratch. There was nothing that we needed at all. We’ll be back!

Reviewed By MaureenabcHave visited the restaurant a couple of times in the last month - all family and friends had very good meals from steak, lamb, seafood and crepes. Very friendly and helpful staff and a nice atmosphere. Will certainly come again.

WORST PLACE IN DALBY
Reviewed By worthogAs a leader of a group of 30 elderly lawn bowlers, I booked rooms in this motel back in Dec 2021 and received their booking confirmation. I made contact with the motel owner in March 2022 to make sure everything was ok for our visit in mid April 2023, only to be told that they did not have our booking in their system. Then I was told the rooms would be $30 a night more than what our confirmation stated. Having booked 30 beds, I was also told I could only have 15 beds. Very disappointed to be told this with 4 weeks to our travel date. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND DEALING WITH THIS MOTEL
