William C literally accommodated all my needs with professional service, and made our birthday trip the most unforgettable one! The breakfast was so good and the staffs from The Tarvenist offered the most hospitable service which completed the morning.

Reviewed By n8g8uI will be back for sure. :) STAFF The staff was helpful and friendly - Oltis, Wenny, Sherry, Camelia, 傑隆哥哥 (room attendant) and the others who I didn't get their names. (1) Wenny was able to give me the room earlier than expected during check-in. I was just supposed to wait in the lobby. thanks so much. (2) Oltis was always smiling when conversing with me. thank you for the face mask and the wet wipes. (3) When it was raining, Camelia helped me get on the taxi while holding the umbrella for me. so nice of her. (4) 傑隆哥哥 told me if I need anything, I can leave a note at the door or ask the reception. (5) I think it was 林叔叔 (valet parking) who helped me with my things when leaving the hotel as I brought a lot of things (boxes actually). AIRCON/HEATER I think the AC was really cold as it has been raining ever since I got here. I asked the staff if they had a heater and they let me borrow it. Really grateful for this. I would usually just use the heater and not the aircon during my stay. FOOD The breakfast was really good too. I love the cereal with the salty milk mousse. :) The food and beverage choices were a lot. I think the hotel is child-friendly. They had the cute bowls and bibs for babies or kids. SELF-SERVICE LAUNDRY Having the self-service laundry on the ground floor was a big help too. Especially because of covid19/pandemic reasons, I would was my wash often. The staff would also give you the laundry bag when you ask them for it. ROOM & BATHROOM I loved the bath tub. It is complete with the shampoo, body wash, shower cap, etc. The room had a partial view of the Daan Park, which was really nice too. I would usually open the window when I was having breakfast. I preferred eating in the room rather than in the restaurant downstairs. I am not sure if my phone was the problem, but sometimes I would use 4G in the hotel because the video using wifi would take time to load. I wasn't able to try on my laptop though. The TV also had a lot of movies inside, I just wish the names of the movies included the English counterpart so it would be easier to choose. LOCATION The location was also very convenient. It was just beside 7 eleven and across Daan Park. LOBBY Although I wasn't able to use, I think it really convenient that they had a business center in the lobby, where you can print documents. The lobby also had free snacks and coffee/tea -self-service area that guests can avail of. PARKING I was amazed at the parking because it was my first time to see an elevator for the car in person. :) To sum everything up, I really had a pleasant stay at Dandy Hotel - Daan Branch. I will be back for sure. Very much recommended to stay here

Reviewed By jenniferjtlaoStayed at several hotels in Taipei before discovering Park Taipei. Since our first stay with the property, it became our go-to hotel whenever we go to Taipei. A clean business hotel with mostly everything you will need. On lean seasons, we were given room upgrade with 101 view. MRT just right outside. Offers free parking also which makes it so much more convenient. Back when there was still breakfast buffet, the options were a bit limited but good enough to start the day. Then Covid started, breakfast was removed but set lunch was offered— the meals were so delicious! When we went back in July though, lunch was no longer on the menu. Customer service is good. Highly recommend!

Reviewed By JamesM49Super easy to get to from Taipei Main, very close to some great eateries and bars, and a really classy place for the money. I was very impressed. It was fully booked the last time we tried it, so clearly word is out. We will definitely go back. Only caveat: there was a major construction project happening across the street. I didn't notice a sound issue, but you may want to ask about it. Also note: in-room wall plugs are only 2 prong, not 3 prong, but the front desk loaned me an adapter.

We are very approachable not only Daan area but downtown attractive area by MRT. Also nearby are the Taipei 101, CKS Memorial Hall, Taipei Botanical Garden and Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall.Taipei Rido Hotel provides you a comfy and warm space and makes you feel like at home. Upon entering the lobby, the vintage and priceless hanging lamp immediately gives out a European sentiments and romantic atmosphere of medieval center, adding a sense of elegant to the hotel. A series of unique and creative suites allows every guest enjoys exquisite service quality and the artistically crafted hotel architecture features while in the busy town center.
Excellent location with easy access to MRT

The room was comfortable although a bit small compared to several other locations we'd stayed in Taiwan. The beautiful Da'an Forest Park dubbed the Central Park in this area is right across the street. The staff was courteous and helpful. Every day for a few hours in the afternoon you could enjoy complimentary snacks and hot/cold drinks in the basement lounge. The plates of welcome snacks of fruits, local candies and milk tea packets were delightful. Note: The very first Michelin-starred Din Tai Fung was just a 5-minute walk away.

The reason is the epidemic, but the hotel restaurant does not have air extraction equipment. Hundreds of people are chatting there without masks or partitions. There is no epidemic consideration. , I don't understand what the logic is? It is recommended that smokers go to a place with better service at the same price. The Howard Hotel is very unfriendly to smokers. 飯店有負壓室內吸菸室，但是讓客人在外面站著吹寒風抽菸，原因說是疫情，但是飯店餐廳沒有抽氣設備，幾百人沒戴口罩沒隔板在那邊聊天就沒有疫情考量，不懂其中邏輯是什麼？建議吸菸者同價位可以去住更好服務的地方。

Decent hotel, Very convenient to NTUE and NTU

Attentive front desk, well staffed and helpful. Complementary water in the rooms. WiFi is pretty fast. Yes, 7-11 is adjacent and convenient for snacks. Breakfast downstairs is okay. All Asian with some bread and cereal mixed in. Don’t go if you need your bacon and hash browns fix. Several auto dealers close by if you’re in the market for a Mercedes or BMW. Overall, a very good place to stay, especially if you’re visiting one of the universities.
