Reviewed By nosretep57You would be hard pressed to find a better motel in many country towns. Big room, comfortable bed, great amenities, nice shower and lots of power points. Great position on the main street and a short walk to the clubs, restaurants and coffee shops. Staff friendly and helpful, good WiFi and the room was warm and with good blackout curtains. Only one minor complaint is there could be some lower brightness lights to make watching TV easier. When next in Cowra would choose the Breakout Motel.

Reviewed By Ajay1066Excellent stay at this quality motel in Cowra. The motel is clean and well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The owner is very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The in-house dinner was very good. And most importantly, it is dog friendly. Our pooch stayed with us in our room - he had his own bed in his own cage!! Close to Japanese Gardens and Cowra POW camp.

We are a multi award-winning small country motel/B&B with just 5 rooms, wide verandahs and views to forever. Country Cottage decor and amazingly quiet. A continental breakfast is included in the tariff. Our secret weapon is our genuine hospitality and enjoyment of our guests. We are licenced. We have a couple of rooms that are also Pet Friendy. Some definitions: a Single Room = 1A in a QB; A Double Room = 2A in 1QB; A Twin Share = 2A in 2beds. Use of additional beds incurs an additional fee. Our pricing is based on the number of people and the number of beds used - not the room type. Located on the Edge of Cowra we are just a 4 minute drive to the PO. The fabulous Quarry Restaurant is within walking distance and is open on the weekends for lunch and dinner. Bookings essential. We have free WIFI. Parking is at the rear of your room so your car does not impinge on your view. Office hours are about 8.00 A.M. To about 7.00 Pm. WELCOME TO OUR VINEYARD MOTEL.

Sheep in the paddocks give that sense of being in the country and yet a close 3 km drive to town.lovelt hostess

Beautiful and comfortably appointed double brick suites just a short and relaxing 2 minute stroll to town. Fully air-conditioned with FREE WiFi; tea and coffee making facilities, toaster, hair dyer, iron and ironing board and microwave . Fully accessible all ground floor suites with separate toilets and large, clean and comfortable bathrooms. Pillow top King and Queen beds with room service breakfast available makes for a most comfortable stay for all of our guests.

Reviewed By rhonda1953This is our second stay at the Aalana Motor Inn. On a return trip to Cowra, we had no hesitation in staying there. It has everything you need in a motel....microwave, cutlery, crockery, tea/coffee etc but our priority when staying overnight somewhere is the bed. The Alaana certainly has the best beds without a doubt. We stayed in Room 3 this time and Room 2 last time. The mattress has a topper which ensures a good night's sleep. The motel is in the main street but there is absolutely no noise heard in the units. Will most certainly stay again when next in Cowra.

RUDE and agressive owners

The owners were SOOOOO rude to me on the phone on top of during the week when I asked to cancel one night accommodation, and had a rant when we asked for an extra towel ?. How dare we?! We accidently left something in the room after checking out and when I called to ask if they found it, if they could let us know, you’d honestly think I’d asked them to cut off their right and left arms…and maybe their legs as well! 3 phone calls to resolve it, but the one that takes the cake is when the husband called me back to tell me to “stop harassing them with repeated phone calls” …he yelled down the phone at me and when I told him I needed to go because I was at work, proceeded to tell me how his work was just as important as mine and that they have their processes and I needed to understand they can’t just drop everything every time someone leaves something in the hotel room! Wowsers!!! He made me cry…and proceeded to put me in a filthy mood for the rest of the day! ??? These horrible people, then proceeded to reply to the review left on booking.com with incorrect information, and called referred to us as "the rudest people we have ever dealt with in this industry" (photo below). None of what's included in their reply how3ver, explains the poor customer service received when simply asking for an additional towel, and their hostil attitude from the very first phone call querying a change in teh number of nights required failed to establish trust that they would actually follow up with our request to contact us if the missing property had been found. Rude, agressive and I'll never be back.

Our Motel is very quiet, perfect for a restful sleep and stay The Cowra Crest Motel is family operated and offers twelve easy access ground floor motel units and one disabled unit with microwaves, toasters, tea and coffee making facilities, kitchenettes and new flat screen digital TV's. Woolworths is located right outside our back gate and we are a two minute walk to pubs, clubs and shopping centre. The entrance to the motel is on the main street but the motel is situated behind shops which keeps our motel away from the traffic noise. We are 150 metres past KFC on left hand side if travelling from Bathurst way or 150 metres past the second set of traffic lights coming from the Lachlan river on the right hand side. All rooms have split system air conditioners/heating, electric blankets on the beds & pillow top mattresses. DVD players are available upon request. There is a BBQ area with seating for guest use located in our garden area and we can supply a BBQ tools package for your use. Scan and email services available at reception.

The placement of the light switches could be better designed and positioned so that the bedside lights could be turned off by a switch nearby as currently it requires you to get up and switch it off. The air conditioner was also dripping water during the night onto the double bed. The amenities are quite sufficient for the price of this motel room though.
